A nice spot for a casual breakfast near the beach This cafe is located on US 192 in Brevard County, specifically at 109 5th Ave in Indialantic, just off A1A. It's a popular American breakfast and lunch spot open from 7 AM to 2 PM. It is known for its fresh meals and beachy feeling. It is easily walking distance from the beach hence its name. Parking is available behind the restaurant. There is not a lot of it so I bet it fills up quickly when it is busy. We found the easier entrance is through the back door leading into a small waiting area and then into the dining area. It's first-come, first-served seating with no reservations, so expect a wait during busy times. It is not a large place. There are about 6 tables and 8 booths for about 4 people and it was pretty full when we arrived. Despite the crowd, one great waitress handled all the tables efficiently, keeping everything moving with a friendly attitude. You order and from the waitress but you pay at the counter. I had eggs, bacon, and french toast, which came out quickly. It was hot, well-cooked, and pretty good. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, with most breakfast items under $15. The cafe had a relaxed atmosphere with indoor seating, though it can get noisy when full. Overall, it's worth the visit for travelers seeking a solid, affordable meal in the area. Enjoy!

Hi everyone! Just a quick review for a little gem of a restaurant located in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida. We have been here before and it just keeps getting better. This is a family owned breakfast and lunch spot that is always packed especially on weekends but it is well worth the wait everyone. Food is down home American style breakfasts with a something for everyone but they also have great sandwiches as well. Amanda helped us on this occasion and she was awesome providing us with some recommendations as well. Everything in the menu is great so feel free to live dangerously. Parking is in the rear of the restaurant and come early if you can as it does get busy. Get ready to be immersed in a traditional diner experience that takes me back to the 70s.... Everyone enjoying their food and striking up conversations with each other as well! So if you are in the area and are looking for some great breakfast you may want to stop in and check them out. Great place that served very fast and very fresh food. The hash-browns were crispy and tasty. I had the country fried steak with eggs and the steak was tender and juicy. Amanda was our server and she was very friendly. The place is very quaint and definitely has beachside vibes. Great place to eat.

The food hits the spot every single time here. I've never had a bad meal, it's always consistent. The owners are very nice as well. My dad and I come in here to grab a bite often. It's a cute little beachside style cafe, hence the name. You should definitely check this place out :) Oh & the service is always 10/10.

Best brunch place I've gone to since moving to Florida. Hash browns were superb and I also got the Mahi Skillet which was wonderful. Service was great, friendly and kept my coffee mug full. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

My husband and I were searching Yelp for a brunch place while staying nearby. Beachside Cafe was listed as very highly rated. So glad we chose them. Service was attentive, coffee was nice and strong. We chose the spinach & Swiss quiche with fresh fruit, and the corned beef hash with home fries and eggs. Both dishes were served piping hot and reminded us of a home cooked meal. Just delicious! The only negative thing was the bathroom-it's unisex and not as clean as could be, otherwise they would get 5 stars from us! read more

Came here this past Sunday with my boyfriend. He said it was his favorite place to grab breakfast and I can see why. I am vegetarian and border on the "vegan" side. I usually only eat eggs and cheese when I am out and never drink milk. I love poached eggs and get them almost every time I go out for breakfast. They had about 15 varieties of eggs benedict (my favorite). I chose the mushroom eggs benedict with spinach. Delicious. My boy had the grouper benedict. We both wished the eggs had been cooked less the yolk was almost fully hard and I like the "goo" to soak into the english muffin. The large fruit side was good too. Coffee was kept full. Only thing I would suggest for them is to have soy milk as an option. I get a little annoyed when I can't have my coffee the way I like it. read more

Try this place if you are nearby. I think they will have something to your taste. I enjoyed their home made muffin and eggs benedict that was everything you'd hope for. Other tables had meals that looked as good as mine tasted. read more

We have been here for breakfast twice. It is a small local diner atmosphere. Tons of egg selections. You can walk here from the beach. The staff is friendly. Both experiences were good, not amazing. They bake their own bread & my husband raved about the rye toast. The hash browns were crispy, which was a plus. Skip the bathroom. read more

We went for breakfast on Sunday morning. The restaurant was busy but our wait wasn't long. Started with good strong tasty coffee while reviewing the menu. The food selections were excellent, the quality superb, our server Janet was 5 Star ++++. Although it was busy, we or anyone else never felt rushed or hurried. NOTE: the rye bread toast is a MUST!!! I ordered 3 chocolate chip pancakes and some home fries! Pancakes were good, but they weren't anything out of this world. I will say that the home fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Definitely seems to be a more egg centered place, the omelets and breakfast burritos look like the things I'd order next time. Ultimately good service and would definitely go again! read more

Great family breakfast stop. Hotspot for the locals coming for high quality full plates for a better than fair price. Friendly hard working staff. Small diner ambiance with formica top tables. No counter seating - two small tables on outside sidewalk. Saturday morning wait for table seems to be a steady 15 minutes. The only thing that keeps me from giving the 5th star is the solid diner-level coffee. I love a strong cup of coffee and my wife appreciates a latte or frap with a weekend breakfast. That is unavailable here. read more

What a perfect breakfast spot while on vacation! Love the super casual feel, the delicious traditional American breakfast, the cheap prices, and the excellent service. Nothing I would change about this place. I had the combo of two eggs, two meats, two pancakes. I also tried the greek scramble and the stuffed french toast. My eggs (over medium) were the most perfectly cooked eggs I've had. My pancakes (added blueberries inside) were fluffy and flavorful. The veggies in the greek scramble were very fresh and flavorful. The stuffed french toast needed more berries but was a good texture. Thanks a fantastic meal and great service. read more

You cannot go wrong eating here even if you have to wait for a table. I love their Eggs Benedict because they get it right every time. I often meet friends here and no one has been disappointed. Very cute place. We went this morning for breakfast and the food was good. For 2 people for food & drinks it was under $20 so it was a great value. I had the waffle with fruit and my husband had the pastrami/corned beef omelette. The fruit for the waffle is whatever is in the fruit cup so that was different. But everything was quite tasty & filling. We will be back. read more

Ate here yesterday around lunch time with a party of 3. We were able to sit down right away and our waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was full for the most part, a nice atmosphere still regardless. We didn't wait too long for our food, my sister had the salmon eggs Benedict and my girlfriend had the breakfast sandwich both of which they liked. I had the hash breakfast meal which was real good, also love the rye bread they have so I enjoyed it. The food wasn't amazing so hence the 3 stars. I would come back again though. read more

Since both Yelp and TA reviews were great, my wife and I down in Fla for a wedding decided to try out breakfast! We agree.. !!Our server Colleen was very friendly, her service was terrific and our shared Avocado Benny with a short stack of Blueberry cakes were delicious.. And great coffee too! Listen. Listen to me. I have never been to a better breakfast place. They give you so much food for like, $9 and it is so delicious that I found myself getting caught up in the moment and forgetting to eat like a normal person. I had the Avocado Benedict, and it was so delicious that, not unlike small dog, I ate so quickly that my stomach started to hurt. I didn't even care. I just kept eating. It was so delicious I briefly lost all control and with it my humanity. The ladies that work there are so sweet and work so quickly that less than one minute after we sat down (and it was relatively busy) we had our iced water and coffee. It probably took them 10 minutes to make our food and bring it to the table. It changed my life. The thought of those poached eggs and hollandaise brings tears to my eyes. I have never written a yelp review before, and I never will again because none of them will ever reach the pinnacle of excellence that this place does. It reminded me of a real life Bob's Burgers. Delicious and, no matter how much recognition it gets, it will never be enough. Spend the best 30-45 minutes of your life here. Beachside Cafe is the first step toward world peace, and you may quote me on that. read more

Visiting from TN, we set out this morning looking for breakfast and was going to get fast food. Looked on Yelp and saw the pictures of this place so we decided to give it a chance instead. We were definitely not disappointed!!! We were immediately met with the kind, friendly, and humorous husband and wife owner team and our waitress Debbie (Jamie Lee). Debbie was very friendly, funny, and helpful with our decisions on what to order. The food was delicious!! The prices are very comparable. In short - Great Food - Great Value - Great Service!! We were in Melbourne for a wedding from out of town. This restaurant was recommended by the hotel where we stayed. We enjoyed it so much, we invited our parents to join us when we returned the next day. The stuffed french toast was other worldly. Be prepared to be full for the remainder of the day and to hear your arteries harden it was so rich. The eggs were light and fluffy and the home fries were incredible. The wait staff only made the experience better. You'll want to tip them. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try. Extra benefit, within walking distance of the ocean. read more

Benedicts Galore. Tight parking and a small diner but well worth it. Right on 5th Ave. before A1A, this place is an amazing place for breakfast. Great service, food and coffee. Great little local place for breakfast. It was a little hard to find because the map led us to the parking in the back and it wasn't well marked. Fortunately we figured it out before we gave up. A little small but we didn't have to wait. Staff was friendly and provided a good level of service. The menu had a great variety with a few twists that you wouldn't see on a chain restaurant menu. Our meals arrived quickly. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We would definitely return! read more

I paid over $18 for a Shish Kafta sandwich that was basically all bread and garnish. I'm not exaggerating--there was barely a morsel of meat in every bite. It felt like a total rip-off!!! As someone who has worked in Middle Eastern kitchens for years, this was a massive letdown. Red flags from the start: the waitress claimed Shish Taouk (tawook) is the "fastest" item (proper chicken takes time!), and the cook wasn't even middle eastern and clearly had no idea what he was doing. The Tabbouli arrived dry and unseasoned, no lemon juice or even wedges??? I ordered the Shish Kafta ($18+), and it was an embarrassment. There was so little meat it was practically a salad wrap. When you pay nearly $20 for a sandwich, you expect a proper protein portion, not a "hint" of Kafta. No lemon, no napkins, no utensils, no attention to detail. This place relies on the name of the food without understanding the food combining principles of the recipe. Check your bag before you leave, or better yet, go elsewhere. The only thing that seemed authentic about this place is that the owner is arabic.

It was delicious but probably even better hot and fresh rather than chilled.

I had to call the restaurant to confirm where guests could park (along the fence, as long as it is not overnight or just to go to the beach) and fortunately my car was still there when I returned from dinner. Overall, the food was decent and the waterfront location is nice. If you're looking for a casual, family-friendly beach bar, this may be a fit. However, if you're hoping for a quieter place to unwind after work or enjoy a peaceful dinner by the water, you definitely want to look elsewhere.

Red flags from the start: the waitress claimed Shish Taouk (tawook) is the "fastest" item (proper chicken takes time!), and the cook wasn't even middle eastern and clearly had no idea what he was doing. The Tabbouli arrived dry and unseasoned, no lemon juice or even wedges??? I ordered the Shish Kafta ($18+), and it was an embarrassment. There was so little meat it was practically a salad wrap. When you pay nearly $20 for a sandwich, you expect a proper protein portion, not a "hint" of Kafta. No lemon, no napkins, no utensils, no attention to detail. This place relies on the name of the food without understanding the food combining principles of the recipe. Check your bag before you leave, or better yet, go elsewhere. The only thing that seemed authentic about this place is that the owner is arabic.
