My first time at the Beachwood Café! The service was so great, our food came out together, which was nice because we shared the same thing. We split the Baja burrito, which is already cut in half. The Baja burrito was delicious! It was a soft burrito, the jack cheese was my favorite, and I tasted the braised pork in it too. I'd get it again. We also shared the cornflakes French toast! It sounded so different and cool, we had to try it. It exceeded our expectations. Recently returned to this place after a few years since my last visit. We went on a weekday and were immediately seated. It is a super cute cafe. You can either eat in or order to go. I saw a lot of people come in just for drinks as well. We got their French toast, cubano sandwich, and green juice. My boyfriend really enjoyed the sandwich. The French toast was okay, I thought it was a bit dry. The service was also okay. I noticed our server was very friendly and attentive with other tables, and we just didn't get the same treatment. I love the location as you get a really good view of the Hollywood sign driving up there. It is also located in a nice and quiet neighborhood! read more

This place is so cute. We came for brunch on a weekday, there was a short wait so we sat outside and enjoyed the area. Once inside it's a cute cafe that has some 70s style wallpaper a little artsy. Our server was an Australian lady so sweet and helpful. She said they're known for their batter bar but we wasn't in the mood for pancakes. I got a hot hazelnut latte and the breakfast sandwich. It came out huge with bacon, cheese and eggs inside of a brioche bun, with a side of potatoes. It was so yummy my husband had half and said one of the best breakfast sandwiches he ever had. Oh my goodness!!!!! This is our second time coming back to this place and the food and service is amazing! Service is amazing and friendly and immediately sat us down, I've seen complaints about the music but from what I can tell the volume is pretty low and you can hear everyone in your table. We all ordered something differently in the menu and I can definitely say if you do come here try the lemon ricotta pancakes!!! So good!! In addition their coffee is very high quality specifically in their latte's but we did try their chai's and they weren't very flavorful to be honest , the location is very intimate and sort of in the middle of a residential spot so there is parking but the cafe also shares a parking lot with the neighborhood market right next to it. This restaurant is a gem in the heart of Beachwood Canyon. It has a very artsy but modern cafe ambience, with the crowd being super diverse but cool. I came here with a friend visiting from out of town and we both enjoyed our food! (This was back in early 2025 so I can't recall exactly what we got). A great brunch spot tucked into the Beachwood Canyon. Brunch runs until 4 pm, and then the café closes. The vibe reminded me a bit of a café scene in Fairfax - cozy, relaxed, and neighborhood-driven. The coffee menu is extensive, and as a bit of a coffee connoisseur, I wanted to try everything. I settled on a lavender breve, which came in a generous-sized cup and was very satisfying. This place was highly recommended post hike by a lot of yelpers. There was a line when we got there and almost gave up after seeing my name #10 on the list. I noticed that there were quite a few empty tables so decided to suck it up and stay. Prob waited a total of 15 min before we were seated. Place looked really nice and servers were great. Soda Drinks and water were refilled all the time even though it was packed. Had the margherite pizza which I . Think crust, big enough serving to be shared, lots of basil and some cut tomatoes. It was the right amount of cheese and could probably used a little bit more tomato sauce. He had the 2+2+2 with an upgrade on the French toast (cornflakes French toast). A+ on the French toast, it was light and the cornflakes gave it a nice crunch! Would def order them again. 4 stars bec it was pricey. Over the years and being a native Angeleno, I've heard abt this cute lil cafe at the top of the Hollywood Hills in Franklin Village. But have never been until now. We scheduled a duplex tour with our realtor and decided to explore the adjacent business+neighborhood. Super cute! The Beachwood cafe is tucked away further north on Beachwood Drive, and is very reminiscent of the Golden age of Hollywood. Most buildings have the old Spanish style architecture: with verandas and arched doorways. Dropped in to grab a latte with the hubby, no wait whatsoever and had a yummy, Fantasy chocolate pastry to go as well, since indoor seating is reserved for the restaurant proper. Will drop in: another day with more time, to have that experience. Our lattes were yummy, my iced matcha wasn't overly sweet. In fact, it was perfectly made and the service was amicable and quick. We sat outside the cafe and people watched, there were tour business and many transplants or visiting folks. Def a tourist destination. Parking was easy pezzy, you circle around back and it's shared with the adjacent, local market. The cafe interior is cozy, with alotta vintage character. One feature which stood out was the foliage; 60 potted plants of various kinds: which were hung, or decorated the many large windows of the cafe. Makes you feel at home, if you have a green thumb. Excited to visit here on my way to see the Hollywood sign which was very visible on the the drive there. Upon entering I could see the retro vibe touches which made for a fun and casual vibe. I love this cafe! I've only ever been inside to grab coffee as the wait is usually pretty long, but the vibes are amazing inside, It has a very cozy and warm vibe. You can walk straight up to the counter to order some coffee and to go pastries, which all looked amazing! The smores bar caught my eye I will definitely be trying next time. We are so happy we found this hidden restaurant in the Hollywood Hills. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Danielle, Grayson, and the manager Andy were all incredibly kind, professional, and friendly. As a business owner myself, I know how hard it is to find the right people, and the owner is truly lucky to have such an amazing team. They should definitely keep them happy! The restaurant itself has such a cozy and beautiful design that makes you want to stay longer and enjoy the atmosphere. And before I forget, the food was absolutely delicious. It is very popular because of Harry Styles reference to the beachwood cafe, but it is much more than just the name! I got the guava matcha which was so delicious and unique. I ordered a caramel latte and tried their new york cheesecake. They were both good, the cheesecake portion was good. The place was actually relatively empty (a surprise) and the place was cute and cozy, overall. However, the service was a bit iffy. They were a bit sassy or had some attitude which took away from the experience, (weird because it was practically empty) I'm definitely not opposed to coming again and trying something new. My friends and I love coming here for brunch but be warned, there is a wait more often than not. The most recent time I dined here we came on a Wednesday around noon and were sat immediately. The service can be a little slow during their busier days, however this past Wednesday the service was great! We were in and out of the restaurant pretty quickly. They also have a walk-up style coffee bar for drinks and pastries if you're looking for a quicker option. I always order the Breakfast sandwich that comes with potatoes. The sriracha aioli is always so yummy and I get an extra side. The ambience is fun, the decor is funky, the lemon tart and steak tacos are a real treat. Dog friendly, too! Jaya (I believe that's how her name was spelled) and the staff were real gems to my friend, who lives in the area and would bring her dogs on daily walks. One of them passed two days ago and we took her there with the remaining dog, and Jaya was as kind and sweet as any server I've worked with or known.
