I was given the choice of three estimates which were way out of my price range and told the guy would need to call somebody else to get another estimate. The estimates were anywhere from the cheapest of $1500. Approx to over $3000. I was totally shocked as my unit is not that old and was told that the motherboard was not sending signals to the compressor to turn on and if they replace the motherboard, it still may not send the signal and then I would have to replace my compressor also. I called another company that was also recommended to me and a technician within 10 minutes found the problem to be a $240 capacitor, which was changed in less than a half an hour and I had air again!! I can't imagine a company trying to rip off somebody buy so much money and completely miss diagnosing, a simple problem and trying and turning it into a huge disaster! I would never recommend this company. They are completely dishonest or maybe it was just the person they sent here.

I wrote a review of our phone conversation because it was the most bizarre interaction I have ever had with a service provider. Your requests were irrational, unrealistic, and irresponsible. ​You literally asked me to take photos of my two toilets. When I stated that I did not see how taking photos of the toilets would fix a main line clog, your response was even more unreasonable. You told me that you did not want photos of the toilets themselves; instead, you wanted me--a non-plumber--to remove the toilets and take photographs of the sewage pipes. At that point, I realized the conversation was going nowhere and ended the call. So it smelled terrible & I had to do something to help my 80 mother in this situation .So I became a member of the " Cast Iron Pipe Lawsuit on behalf of my mother . When I notified the insurance company of my intention to file a lawsuit they sent 5 star plumbing to do a Repipe of my house I met Jay & the guys & I knew in an instant they were the ones who I needed to do the job. Problem was the Attorney wouldn't let them do it as the case had already been started so I was forced to wait a little longer I kept in touch with the guys & Jay and when they settled the claim I immediately called Jay & 5 Star plumbing back & in a few days they Drove from Miami & Daytona on a Friday morning & they checked into a Hotel at 7 am & they were at my house at 8 am ready to work, AND WORK THEY DID !! They completely cut up my driveway along the side of my house then turned right and cut all the way behind my house right beside the bathrooms & Kitchen! Within an hour of me calling in, I had a tech, Adrian, in my home and giving me quotes. He was very helpful and polite and explained everything that would be needed and done. The work was done same day which saved the day for me and Adrian cleaned up the area where work was done and made sure everything was up and running. The only issue I have with the entire thing is the cost.
