The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Customer service and basic friendliness go a long way, especially in a place that promotes a positive wellness experience. I walked out . When my husband and I both worked, we never had time to make our lunch. I would usually end up…read morebringing a frozen meal to work or resort to buying food from my company's cafeteria. One of the solutions were meal preps. I wouldn't have to decide what to eat for lunch every day and had someone else prepare it for me. Well fast forward to 2021, the scenery may have changed (I've been working from home since March 2020), but the issue still hasn't! I still don't cook for myself every day and sometimes have to make myself something from our freezer or just a sandwich. We were introduced to Meal Prep on the Fly this year. They're family owned and their meals are all low calorie and high protein. The way they work is that you have to put in your order by 11PM on Mondays in order to secure your delivery for Friday that same week. They are based out of Upland and their delivery areas are mostly within the IE, but they do delivery to cities like Monrovia, San Dimas, Pasadena so check their website The delivery service is pretty good. I usually get a text message on Friday morning stating what time my delivery is planned to arrive (1 hour timeframe) then I'll get a second text saying that my delivery driver is on the way and finally a confirmation text that my delivery was completed. We leave a large cooler outside by the front door and they place our meals inside it. Our absolute favorites so far are: ================================= *Blacked shrimp (served with brown rice, black beans and an avocado pineapple salsa - the salsa is so bomb!) *Chicken Cutlet Salad (baked chicken served alongside brussels sprouts, turkey bacon and goat cheese on a bed of mixed greens paired with a honey Dijon vinaigrette - everything about this salad is spot on! LOVE it.) Their meatballs are also really good and we love how they have a variety of different cuisines; they even have Pad Thai and Pancit.
