There are the usual wine and beer flights if you're unsure, like me. You go up to the bar inside and open a tab, and start ordering. The food pick up is at the attached building right by the entrance to the bigger building. There are plenty of parking spaces, so you won't struggle with that. The pizzas and pretzels we ordered were not memorable in any way. Will I come again? I might probably try a new winery. Take this review with some salt, though. I'm not a wine person. I came to hang out and sample the place if you know what I mean.

We normally prefer to sit outside. There are solo stoves out for a warm fire. The view is amazing! Very beautiful. Service is good. Not as friendly as I am used to. We walked it. Looked around and the staff kind of ignored us. It was clear we weren't sure of where we were going. They noticed us and did not say hello. But once we ordered, they seemed to loosen up. Their estate yeast is making some awesomely funky brews. I love different and new beers, and they're one of the only places still making unique ales. Their more traditional beers are great too- very well brewed. The food is awesome- insanely good sandwiches. The setting is amazing. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. I can't recommend this place enough.

We had decided on hot dogs and a pretzel. It was more than filling and tasty. All beef hot dogs and the additions were self serve with so many of Roger's own mustards fixins it was hard to choose. Later we learned that the horseradish was one a friend even raised the horseradish, dried it and powdered it for Roger. Laidback place for Laidback people is a nice motto for here, hospitality is spot on and with an outside area equally as welcoming we will be back. My spouse chose the Banshee Irish Red and I had the Swedish Smoke Show. The story behind the Swedish Smoke Show is one you will have to enjoy in person. The owners are very active in helping the community in many ways and even have formed a Curling team.

We took a turn and less than a mile off the main road was this very large footprint of a brewery. There is a huge play ground for kids, amazing views and ample outdoor seating. Lots of parking. There are also a lot of sound absorbing panels which help when this place is really crowded. (I imagine). The inside is surrounded by large TVs. We are watching the Winter Olympics. Every beer we tried was excellent. We got a flight and also a sample of the cider. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The samples pours are very generous. The bathrooms are spotless. And the urinals are converted beer kegs. (Nice touch) Water is self service and readily available. The appetizers are smaller than anticipated, my only critique for our experience. The spicy cheese curds are actually spicy on the back end. I highly recommend.

Seating indoors with a few TVs, an upstairs over 21 only spot that has TVs, dart boards, and a foosball table. Outside there is some covered seating, picnic tables, and a small pavilion where live music is played. Always important too for the kids there is a playground and decent space to run around.

There is plenty of parking and many areas to sit down. Tip - call ahead and reserve an outdoor seat in the shade as it can get very hot up there and many of the tables do not have umbrellas. If a manager is a reason this - I think it would be very useful to add additional umbrellas to the lower decks so that patrons will stay longer. It just gets way too hot sitting by an uncovered table. It's "self service" and you order at the counter and pick up your food. They have many options for beers. I think the only non- alcoholic option was cokes. We ordered the cheese pizza which was fine. I mean you don't really come here for the food- it's more about the view , vibe and drinks. Although they did have a great food truck the day we went that sold smash burgers and fries which was really nice. The bathrooms are clean - although one of the soap dispensers and taps were not working. Also- they ran out of paper towels to dry your hands. I think it was just very busy when we went. I did appreciate that they had a stool in the bathrooms for younger kids - which is very helpful. I did see many patrons brought their dogs which is quite nice that you can enjoy some drinks and food with your furry friends. My kids just loved it there. They could run around on the grass and roll down the hills. Like I said - it's just such a great vibe. They also had a band playing which was really nice. I appreciate their guidance on my annoyingly intense dislike of all hazy, juicy, or milkshake-y beers. Just stop. Also, a surprising amount of space within the brewery from what you expect from outside. Hung out and worked in the loft which I highly recommend for study groups or non-study groups. But then I joined everyone else outside in the fantastic set up: a food truck, generous amount of seating, great conversation with locals, and such a talented singer/songwriter performing. Very happy I visited on a Friday. Truly disappointed that this gem of a place isn't in my neighborhood. I would be a regular to the nth degree!

Because we have 11 people including kids that weren't drinking they wanted to charge a $5 grat per person. No problem paying a 20% grat for a large party and then another customer was so rude to my nephew using the F word for no reason. Upon going back in to take our food to go the establishment refunded our money but never kicked out the unruly patron hut made us feel like outcasts. Never to return there. Go to Blumont or Dirt Farms as they are friendly and family friendly.
