    Carnivore Pizza

Wow!!! This place exceeded our expectations! Since it was in a liquor store we were a little skeptical with how the food would be but it was really a 10/10! We ordered the Pepperoni, hot honey, cheesy bread and it was DELICIOUS!! The sweetness from the honey and the cheese is an amazing combination. We also got the Carnivore pizza and it was soo good! The sausage was real meat, not like a dominos and it had such a good crust. It almost tasted like it was wood fired because of crispy yet soft dough but the crust was crispy and airy! I would recommend this place 1,000%. While we waited for our food we walked around the town and came back just in time for this delicious meal!!

Wow! This is my first ever review on Yelp, and it's for a good reason. This place was super cool and had a nice "home-town" feel to it. The lady who served us had our pizza done exactly when she said it would be, and when we were barely short on cash, she covered for us. Super friendly conversation with her too. We talked about candy! Also... I don't like pizza personally, but my girlfriend is devouring it as we speak... so I think it's pretty good.

This place was amazing. We almost didn't go because the review average is so low but after going I'm really confused as to why. We got a 12" split meatlovers and pineapple/mushroom/banana pepper. The pizza was perfectly cooked and delicious. We also got an order of the HOT HONEY BEARSTICKS and Wow... soooo amazing!! We couldn't stop eating them. Plenty of food for 2. The outdoor seating was clean and we sat in the sun - perfect weather.

Hula Bear: ham, pineapple, green pepper.

The pizza's warm, they sell alcohol for takeaway only, and that's most of the package. We got a Hula Bear : ham and pineapple and green peppers. The menu lists some basic salads, but they were out of lettuce when we visited --- no lettuce so no salads. You can buy beer, wine, or liquor to go, but not consume it here. The tables and plastic utensils are basic, but a big step up from eating in your car. They don't have cozy booths or pitchers of beer, but they can get you out of the weather and fed with hot cheese, and some days that's exactly what you need.

Good pizza. Crust is amazing! The salads are wayyyyy overpriced, though! I would for sure eat here again.

Went there based on the yelp reviews but was disappointed. Pricey food and rude staff. Food was OK. Would not recommend.

We got the Il Porco pizza which had Italian sausage and sweet onion on it. We opted to get the Roman crust and it was very flavorful! The downside was it was a long wait to get our food. Like crazy long. We also did not know if we would be served our pizza or if we would have to pick it up inside- it was a bit confusing. We would definitely eat here again as the taste of the pizza and spot along the river was worth the long wait.

It tasted pretty good and the toppings were baked under the cheese. I ordered a water, which was about $3 and in a bottle - not what I expected, but I guess it is very fancy imported water from Italy. They also offered drinks like Olipop and kombucha which might be a little more worth the money. The girl taking our order didn't go out of her way to be friendly but it wasn't a bad experience or anything. I don't believe there was much of a wait before our order, but the pizza was predicted to take 20 minutes to make. The inside is pretty crowded but the picnic tables were cute to sit in. I do think the hours are a little strange, definitely not for early dinner eaters. Overall, it was a cute outdoor dining experience and they did consider gf and vegan pretty well!

In these harder times, this restaurant needs more help. College kids were back in school. The tables were kind of greasy. Only two servers, who were very good, were exhausted. We were dining with a 2 year old, who was a little difficult and our kind waitress put in the order for the children right away. Their cheese pizza looked great. Nice call. Our orders came out not too long after, which makes me question, "How do you cook fish in less than 10 minutes, with a fresh vegetable? I ordered the wall eye with pesto and it came with zucchini. Everything was just all right. NOT a hot meal. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm, the fish seemed like it was cooked an hour ago and the zucchini was soggy with oil. The ribs are their best to claim, and were good. However, they also seemed like just warmed up with the BBQ sauce because my son said they were cold and he should have sent them back. There is outside seating but mostly bar counter height chairs so we chose to eat indoors, which was very nice. IF the food was cooked to order, and the food was HOT, and the tables were cleaned properly, it would rate a 5! in my book. However, not this time. I eat here at least 4 times per year, so hopefully next time, it will be better! I pray they do not close this gem on M-22 in downtown Glen Arbor. See you next time!

I will say the food was fine. Zucchini fries were 10 out of 10. Out burger was pretty rare...like borderline should we eat this. "The Guy" got argumentative with my friend I was with over our seating timing and order timing and the need for us to leave. Again, his people skills on wild display. Glad we left...the live music was warming up and we were seated right by a speaker so...I can imagine it would have gotten loud. Not a lot of food choices in town so, I am sure "the Guy" knows that and can get away with his crass approach to his guests. His response was, verbatim: "If you owned a business, you would understand we are trying to turn tables." The place was half empty. Instead of simply saying they couldn't put the game on or that they needed the table, he escalated the situation and verbally attacked the dad in front of his kids, even calling him an "a-hole" for asking to watch the USA play in the World Cup at a bar and grill. That tells you everything you need to know about how this place treats customers. Rude, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. There are plenty of better options in Glen Arbor. Go to Art's instead -- better food, better atmosphere, and they actually seem to appreciate the people spending money in their place.
