I went to the Bearded Monkey to watch the Superbowl. Even though the restaurant was full I received very good service. I ordered their version of chili fries. All though I ordered the fries to be well-done I found them to be soggy at the bottom of the basket. I believe that the sauce should have been thickened for longer period of time before being served. The waitress gave great service--coming back to me frequently. Considering the size of the crowd I couldn't have been happier. Having an energetic crowd added to my experience. I rarely leave reviews like this, but people deserve to know: my experience at Bearded Monkey during karaoke night was one of the worst I've had in the area. The karaoke host not only made the night uncomfortable -- he played multiple songs that were blatantly offensive and degrading toward women. What's worse is that it didn't seem accidental. There was no care for how the music made others feel, just a lot of ego and arrogance. The host acted more like the star of the show than someone trying to create a fun, inclusive environment. If you're hoping for a respectful, uplifting night of karaoke where everyone gets a fair shot and can have a good time -- you may want to look elsewhere. This isn't the vibe. I genuinely hope management steps in and rethinks who's running their entertainment, because this kind of energy pushes people away fast. read more

My 5 stars comes from Good service, let me elaborate a party of 7 walks into the establishment there is no seating. The staff looked for seating as well couldn't find any. We leave the kind gentleman that was looking for seating for us comes outside just before we were leaving and says I got yall a table we were all excited and hungry. The waitress was very nice and attentive, we were checked on by staff at all times the food was great, I love the tvs around the bar that's cool. This place has a cool layout. Pool tables are very nice. The service was mediocre. I went there with my wife for lunch. We ordered chips and salsa for the appetizer. There was an over abundance of chips and a small bowl of salsa. We both ordered burgers and onion rings. The onion rings were good, although they were not "rings."They served a very small amount of ranch in already small cups. The burgers were not good. The patty was grey and dry. It seemed like it was something other than beef. I asked the waitress if the burger had been microwaved. She assured me that they had not, and did not offer an explanation for the appearance of the Patties. I truly don't know what they did to prepare it, but it was not like any burger I have ever had. read more

I've been to this bar 3 times. The first two times I had a good experience. Food was on point. Decent beer prices. Service was good too. Last night I went but was not greeted at all when I walked in. Sat down and waited but still no greeting. Finally sat at the bar and took sometime for the bartender to greet us. Ended up leaving because the bartender advised kitchen was closing in a few minutes and seemed hesitant to take our order for food. We would've tipped well knowing we showed up a little late. Typical Sports Bar w/pool tables, arcade games, lots of very large screen TVs. NHL & NBA games were featured, w/some random channels on smaller TVs. Our Server was excellent (sorry, didn't catch her name). She explained food specials & kitchen closing time (we had 10min to Order). Server also helped us organize tables bcuz our group of 15 people.
