Great family owned restaurant with good burgers! Wish it came with fries, but it comes with potato chips instead.

The hummus and veg lasagna are a perfect blend of flavors and textures, highlighting fresh ingredients and skillful preparation. The salmon plate is beautifully cooked, with tender fish. The teriyaki chicken bowl is a savory delight, balancing sweet and savory flavors perfectly. The food was fresh, came with salad and Sautee vegetables. Also this was the only place open till 9pm on the 4th of july, serving food. Staff were very welcoming and service was great. dining here was a truly enjoyable experience, Ambiance is very cozy and welcoming

Service at this place was impeccable. The woman who seated us was smiling and friendly to everyone she encountered. Our server (young guy named TJ?) was also super friendly and accommodating. We had planned to do part of the Beartooth Highway and eat at the cafe in Mammoth, but so glad we decided to eat lunch in Cooke City instead! It's a charming town in a quiet, mountainous setting. The weather was perfect. We got chili to share and it was awesome. Had a bit of a kick to it. I got the BLT and the bacon was perfectly crisp. My husband enjoyed his club. We also shared a delicious beer. If you're passing through, or staying here, definitely check this place out!

Nestled in a small town this was a good find with a few more options than other nearby restaurants. No wait on a Monday at 11:30a but the lunch crowd did arrive which slowed down service toward the end of our meal. I ordered the Angus Steak Salad and it was plenty. Recommended by the server it was a good choice. Service was pleasant but ran short as we had to hunt down our bill.

The grilled cheese is good. The bison steak was really good. The nachos supreme was not.

I ordered nachos. The chips were stale. If you're headed towards Red Lodge, you might want to get a snack here and dinner there.

We walked in here with not the highest of hopes but hungry bellies, and were extremely pleasantly surprised. The staff were warm and welcoming, and made us instantly feel at home. And the suggestion of the roasted red pepper soup was on point. That soup is probably the best thing I've eaten so far in the state of Montana. The burgers were good and juicy and I'm kind of sad that we didn't get the fries because the next table over had them and they looked delicious. The iced tea tasted fresh brewed and this would be a foolish spot to miss if you're in the area headed into or out of Yellowstone the prices were reasonable and it looks like they do live music and I would be excited to come back and eat again. Wheelchair accessibility: this is a historic building and would be within its rights not to be wheelchair accessible. But that is not the case! There is a zero rise door entry; you do have to get through the saloon doors and then there's a traditional door behind that so you might need a hand but coming out you look like an old western bandit ready for a high noon shootout. There's plenty of seating options and lots of space to maneuver. The bathroom door was light and the bathrooms are spacious with plenty of room to turn around, and grab bars.

Our other orders were the bison burger special and the "juicy lucie" burger with fries and tots. Both burgers were fresh and well prepared and the sides were served hot and crisp. The restaurant is in the Soda Butte Lodge and the whole space is in need of some updates, but don't let that turn you off. If fine dining was your priority, you probably wouldn't be in Cooke City to begin with. It seems to be family run and the hospitality industry execution may be a work in progress but the service was friendly and accommodating. I wish I would've used the restroom before i ordered because I would've just left. Black carpet and it felt like an 80s horror movie where the restrooms were located. We ordered a Reuben and the cheese steak. Reuben came without sauce and the pastrami was over grilled or honestly could have been out of date. The cheese steak didn't fare any better. Onion rings and tots were fried to oblivion in old cooking oil. Plastic utensils, empty condiment bottles and mustard and mayo packets on the table like a food cart place. I hate to bash family run places, especially in small towns where tourism is what they have to rely on but we are just hoping that we don't get food poisoning from our lunch today. Avoid this place like your gut depends on it. Hot dog dude across the street, Sup Dog, was a much better choice after we couldn't finish half our meal. A health department check is probably in order for this place. A one star review because yelp doesn't allow no stars.

That was the best tasting scone I've ever had! We started off with the garlic bread and it comes out on a pesto. It was toasted just right and has just a splash of balsamic glaze that added the best balance. Whole cloves of roasted garlic on there too! The chili, I can honestly say beat mine, and I make a damn good chili! Just the right amount of heat and the jalapeño cornbread added just the right texture. Bison strip in bourbon garlic sauce was the best meal I have had in a really long time. The vegetable served with it was perfectly cooked and fresh!
