This is one of the two best Thai restaurants in the Denver area - the other good one is Sue of Siam in Aurora. At Beau Thai the basil flavors are delicious, portions are generous, and service is friendly without being overbearing. Best dishes are red curry, tom ka, and the basil stir fries. Drunken noodles are also pretty good, but the pad see ew is bland. Beau Thai is so much better than the other Thai food in the Denver area. Delicious food! Every item I've tried has been very flavorful and tasty. It's a small, strip mall location that isn't overly comfortable or inviting, but it's fine. It's typically pretty quiet too. Went for a late lunch. Self seating. I waited a long time to order while watching the kitchen prep food and look at me without sending anyone to wait on me. At the point I should have left. When my waiter did arrive, I ordered the spring rolls and the fried tofu from the App's. Both items came with the sweet chili sauce like you buy at costco. Spring rolls were lacking in flavor. The tofu was ok, not like tommy's thai. I had ordered the thai coffee and did not ask for it iced but that's what I got. I sent that back and asked for a hot one. I was told that he guessed that they could make some??? WT?? I was served a plain watered down coffee.The Ice water tasted like bleach. Crammed tables in a remodeled burger dinner. I was so hoping to have a great Thai place near by w/o going to Denver. I know to go two doors down to the indian place. read more

This Thai place is worth the visit. Ordered the ginger pork. It came quickly, lots of fresh vegetables, tasty sauce. Clean place, including restroom. Located in the back of Bergen Park center, so yelp the directions. Would be even better if they would upgrade the rice, but it is standard fare. Give it a try. They serve Vegan aa well. read more

Won't go back even tho I live in Evergreen. As others have said the ambiance is basically nothing, no music, no decor, nothing. We made the mistake of sitting close to the door and every time any one came in or out we were freezing. Took a long time to order our food. Got gyoza for app and it was ok. One of us got Pad Thai and their was a hair in it...yuck. My pineapple fried rice was bland with canned pineapple. Daughter got a curry and it was nothing special. Mild was no spice at all, medium was very hot and hot was super hot...don't want to know how the Thai hot was. While we were eating one of the kitchen helpers came in the front door with a large tupperware of cut up chicken and 2 whole chickens. I can only assume that they were getting them from their companion resturant a few doors down but it was a weird sight that I have not experienced at another restaurant. read more

My hubby and I visited Beau Thai for the first time last night and were pleasantly surprised. The reviews that indicated that the atmosphere was lacking or that it somehow felt like a "truck stop" are totally false -- it's a small place but it is well laid out and the lighting is very pleasant. This is a nice little family-owned and operated restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, service is great and the food is decent. We started going to Beau Thai regularly about a year ago, and we visit them 3-4 times a month. I usually alternate between 3 dishes and on this occasion I ordered one of my favorites, the Drunken Noodles (Mild) with Shrimp. They let you choose how hot the dish is, and I'm a wimp and order my food mild. It is still extremely flavorful without the heat. There are plenty of fresh vegetable, stirred in with the thick noodles, with eight shrimp and a delicious sauce. The waitress recommended this dish to me a couple of months ago and it is now my favorite. My wife ordered the Pad Thai (Mild+) with either chicken or Shrimp. She finds it very good. On this visit she ordered it with shrimp also receiving eight shrimp). The service was very quick. It is a small restaurant, with only about 10 tables, so on weekends it fills up. They do a good take-out business. It is not fancy, but the food is good, cooked to order but served quickly, and friendly staff. read more

We just had two delicious curries for lunch, green curry with shrimp and parang curry with chicken, both mild. Both were very flavorful and delicious with the brown rice we chose as our side. The decor was clean and appeared to be freshly painted. We couldn't have asked for more, other than that the chicken in the panang curry was tough. Also, service was great. I asked for recommendations, said I liked spicy--really spicy, and it had a nice heat along with taste. Got the lunch special Dunky Noodle--good portion, lots of vegs and chicken. After the initial interaction I was a bit nervous but food was prepared fast and delivered while hot. Everyone at our table rated their food "excellent", and a couple of us are not easy to please. We had soup, spring rolls, roast duck, pad thai, garlic chicken, and mixed stir fry. The cooked items have complex flavor profiles. There are 5 heat levels. The medium heat is a good choice if you like plenty of spice and intact taste buds. Drink options include beer and wine. This is a small casual restaurant with large portions and lower prices than at local competitors. (The prices are even lower than indicated by their on-line menu.) Beau Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants my wife and I have ever experienced. Their Pad Thai is perfect (not greasy as they are at some restaurants) and the Panang Curry is out of this world! The food is consistently great and everything I've tried there has been great. The only knock against them (and only reason for a 4-star vs. 5-star review) is that they recently installed a TV, which we find annoying. Prior to that, the atmosphere was very pleasant, with beautiful music in the background. So unless they remove the TV, we'll only get take-out from now on. read more

Yet another sub-par Thai dining experience in Colorado. Keep in mind I am basing this review on one visit, one entrée, early dinner 4pm. Nice people but restaurant had an unpleasant odor. Rustic decor, must ask for chopsticks. Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp at medium spice was the order. Bland is the word to best describe the chicken. No flavor was cooked into any of it. The shrimp was cooked but was absolutely tiny with equally no added flavor, leaving an undesirable fishy taste. I don't like noodles but those were the best part of the dish, cooked correctly with a good balance of heat and sweet flavor. I have yet to find what I consider good Thai cuisine anywhere in Colorado and I've tried ALOT of restaurants. This is not the case with Japanese, Vietnamese, and Chinese as I can name many quality places. As far as a decent Pad Thai dish, Tommy's Thai and Thai Pot Cafe remain at the top of my list. read more

Went to Beau Thai for the first time last night. We werent sure what to expect from reviews.. It's a pretty tiny place in a strip mall area but clean and comfortable. Lots of people picked up to-go orders while we were there. We were surprised to see that it's practically next door to the Himalayan place. Some nice Thai decorations and Thai chachkis for sale. Service was good and friendly. They serve some good Thai beers. We weren't sure what to order so decided to share 2 dishes. We started with the crab cheese wontons. They were different than most - really crispy and delicious. Kudos to them for making a great appetizer both different AND better!! I had the shrimp Pad Thai (mild plus) and he had the Duck Green Curry (medium). The pad thai was really good and a big portion, but the curry was amazing. I'm not sure I will ever order anything but the curry again. There were tons of fresh vegetables and huge slices of fall-of-the-bone tender duck. The "medium" heat was great -it teetered right on the edge of being too spicy for me. We are new to Evergreen and so far this is the best food we've had (along with sushi night at the Woodcellar). read more

We eat a lot of Thai food. It is our go to especially when we need our kids to eat a full meal. Beau Thai was amazing. Taste was top three for us. Value was where they won. The price was on par but the portion size left enough for left overs. The kids meals were very substantial compared to other places.
