He told me the medium spicy level here is actually spicy! So, I ordered mild & it still spicy to me :) Clean, nice ambiance & bathroom. Full bar which I want to try many unique cocktails next time. My beef floating market $20 came in generous portion. Very tasty & authentic. Beef is so tender. The crispy fried pork skin made it very crunchy topping. Fresh veggies ingredients. The Thai food here really hit the spot. The location is nice, great parking, adjacent to a Starbucks and Sprouts. The food was good, loved the spice. The menu is clearly labeled for those who are gluten free. I love how they disclose the ingredients in each dish on their menu and warn that the curries may contain shrimp paste or powder. We ordered: Tom Kha with tofu (GF) ~ loved Fried Rice with chicken (GF) ~ fave thing we got. Roasted duck curry ish dish ~ can't remember the name of the item but it's listed under "must haves". This place is great! We had the Khao Kha Moo, Burma Tea Party, and the Pad Kee Mao. All of the dishes were delicious and crafted with care. The Khao Kha Moo reminds me of he Vietnamese Thịt Kho dish which is a personal favorite. It's richer and and more flavorful and may be a new favorite. The fermented tea leaf salad is really something special and difficult to find. If you've never had it it's a must try. The noodles were great and cooked to perfection. This place is now one of my favorite Thai resteraunts in the Denver metro. I can't recommend enough. read more

Other times it's the opposite, making us wonder: didn't we order the same dish last time, it was so good!?! So, averaged out, I can only give 3 stars. One of the iconic dishes is the Larb Salad. My friend was so enamored by it, he ordered another one to go. Sadly, he said the take-out one was bland. But it's like, did they forget the condiment?? Something else I always get here is the Roti, OMG trust me, you need this flaky, greasy flat bread in your life. Don't you dare dipping it in the peanut sauce, because once you do, there's no coming back! Crispy Tofu was the pleasant surprise. When dunked in the accompanying fish sauce, it was muy bueno! Pineapple fried rice is a presentation galore. It looks so amazing you would be glad you ordered it. Taste wise, I thought it was a little too sweet. And like a lot of the other dishes, maybe because I asked for absolutely the mildest heat, they had to supplement with a lot of sugar? It's a hit or miss at Farmhouse Thai. The other people in the comments weren't kidding about this place being spicier than other Thai restaurants! Knowing that coming in, I ordered a medium instead of my usual hot. I had my husband go inside to pick up our to-go orders and the owner gave him a fair warning about the spiciness and asked that he confirms with his wife that she actually wants it medium heat before he placed our orders. My husband reassured him we loved to eat spicy and he reluctantly placed our order still unsure we were prepared for the spice. As he handed my husband our orders, he said "enjoy spicy" and sent him on his way. I ordered the green curry and my husband ordered the pad see yew and we got the papaya salad to share. All 3 dishes were so flavorful and amazing so don't let the idea of a Thai restaurant being in a strip small scare you away. It's authentic Thai food and spicy and flavorful as they are intended. I appreciate the owners over abundance of caution with the spice levels in our orders since it seems like a lot of the negative reviews were people who were unprepared by the spice levels. Overall, my husband and I still talk about the Thai food here all the time as it quickly became our favorite Thai restaurant, and laugh at the "enjoy spicy" comment. I I'm so disappointed in my experience tonight. I have come to this restaurant multiple times in the year I've lived here and I have ordered from Uber eats on several occasions as well. I really appreciate their Tom kha soup and was ordered it tonight through Uber eats as I usually have in the past. What arrives is a tiny cup of soup. For anyone who has ever had this before they know it comes in a large bowl and when I have ordered it for delivery it comes in a large soup container. When I received the bag opened it and saw just a tiny cup of soup I immediately called the restaurant, certainly this was a mistake. I am told that the Uber eats soup is always small. I'm sorry but that is not correct as the last time I ordered it it was a large. I ordered the only option for the soup on the menu so I had to have ordered the correct one. The person on the phone continue to argue with me saying that this is what is served through Uber eats. Giving up completely and just 10 out of 10 starving I decided it would just eat it and never order from them again. My very first spoon into the food retrieves a short black hair. This use to be my favorite go to Thai restaurant but within the past couple of years the recipe or cook seems to have changed. In the past this place (for me) was one of the closest Thai food I can get that was similar to my time in Thailand. Now, it doesn't seem like that anymore which is a little disappointing. The pad thai is good but seems to be not as flavorful and have enough sauce than it should. I also got the panang curry which was my favorite. I enjoyed the coconut and peanut butter flavor! We enjoyed a lovely dinner last night at Farmhouse Thai Eatery. We were VERY happy! There were 5 of us in our party and a pretty full restaurant. Service was efficient. Our server was a young man who was attentive. He also turned out to be the bartender. He brought/made all of our drinks. The adult Thai iced tea was SO good. He also made a few other drinks for us that all turned out excellent. We had the coconut Sake which came out in a very cool chilling bottle that kept it cold. We ordered the Satay-excellent, Duck wonton-excellent, Pad Thai-excellent, Pad See Lew-excellent, and green curry- VERY spicy even though it was as mild as it could be but also very good flavor. I purchased through Uber Eats. Green Curry and Mee Krob. All of it was gross to just sub-par. Mee Krob is meant to be super crispy, this was like pasta. Curry was thick. Not sure why. Like a thick gravy. It should be coconut milk base, right? It was as if they put flour in the base. Lots of it. I'll be honest I'm sick of paying an arm and a leg for crap food. If anyone reads my reviews, I have issues with food in Denver anyway. Still trying to find more decent places but they are and few between. OH! Also, strong mushrooms in the curry too. My family and I went to Farmhouse Thai Eatery for a big dinner and everything was authentic and phenomenal. I would definitely recommend the larb, pad see ew, som tum, and crab fried rice. They reminded me of home. My absolute favorite was the crab fried rice. They were very generous with the pieces of crab! There was also khao kha moo (pork stew) that I didn't manage to grab a picture of. It's tender, fatty pieces of pork in a hearty, cinnamon, star-anise spiced stew. I've never seen it on a menu in the US before, so I was very excited to order it. Give it a try if you see it! They adjust their menu regularly depending on what's in season, so you can be sure to discover a new dish each visit! A rare five star from me. Met an old Navy friend for lunch on a Sunday. We talked for quite a while before ordering but the staff was patient. I got the Pad See Ew with tofu. I was going to get Thai hot but they had already cautioned my friend against that so I toned it down. They have a different heat rating system, maybe I got West? Not sure, but it was very hot. Let this be on record-- Farmhouse Thai has the only reliable spice scale in Denver (or Edgewater to be exact). I trust them when they say Thai hot means "call 911". We regularly eat spicy food at home but can only handle medium on a good day. Just mild already causes a thorough mouth tingle that requires a couple well-timed sips of Thai iced tea during the meal. Spice level aside, this place is spot on with flavor every single time with every single dish. We've tried something different each time we visit (even though we're always tempted to order the same thing) and haven't been disappointed yet. Papaya salad is always a must, especially in the summer. The crunch with just the right tanginess and spicy kick is addicting. The "pork jerky" was flavorful from having been dried but still tender with a crisp exterior. All of their noodle dishes are perfectly cooked and seasoned with the right amount of chew to all the carby noodle goodness. There's a wide variety of choices for protein too (i.e. calamari/squid, tofu aside from the usuals). aside from the standard "Thai" offerings, there's also some regional specials like boat noodles. Seating is spacious and they are more than happy to combine tables to accommodate larger groups. Service is friendly and food comes out quite quickly. Unfortunately I can't speak to dessert because we're always too full to order any, but they do offer mango sticky rice! Bonus points: this place still serves hot tea like chrysanthemum (non-caffeinated option thought to be cooling in the summer), something not even offered at some Chinese restaurants these days. If hot tea isn't your cup of tea, literally, go for the Thai iced tea here. It will save you if you ordered more spice than you can handle (may or may not be speaking from experience) read more

It's been a while now. The last time I went here, they refused to give me pad Thai with any spiciness level at all. I've eaten Thai spicy pad Thai here (very good then), and I've had the pad Thai with no spiciness before - not good. I don't like adding chili to pad Thai after it's cooked for spiciness - it tastes better when cooked to order. Their refusal to give me what I wanted and have had there before - many times during COVID - made me leave rather than ordering the rest of the large order I was there for. Their drunken noodles with chicken (tell them to hold the tomatoes) is excellent. Their pad Thai with spice used to be good. Unfortunately, unless I hear that they allow spicy pad Thai again, I'm lowering my rating and won't eat there again. read more

It was pretty quiet as I came in for a late lunch, but it looked like it may be a great place for dinner. There is a full bar, and a diverse menu. My server was prompt and got the food coursed out nicely. I started with some potstickers. They were good, skin was blistered and light, but I usually like the crispy pan fried dumplings. There is a "Must Try" section of the menu, so I tried the Khao Kha Moo - very unique, with the star anise and cinnamon shining. Delicious and I am happy ventured to a dish I have never had.
