Our first visit on opening weekend was lack luster and we had an all around bad experience. We figured we'd wait 3 months and give it a second try. Unfortunately things haven't improved. Food wait times still quite long for how busy they are, food temperature and quality still struggles, drinks were rough, and more. I just think this place isn't for me. read more

We had a fabulous dinner at Clem's Viral Bites in Barberton. It just opened on February 9th and is quite small, it was quaint and very cute inside. The owner greeted us immediately to explain the specials, and our waitress was friendly, informative, and very attentive. The food was absolutely incredible--from the presentation to the taste, it was one of those meals where you're full but don't want to leave a single bite on your plate. The chef is trying to make the offerings artsy, sometimes it works and other times not so much. Fried Mac & Cheese for example sounds interesting but ended up with very little flavor. The burgers are tasty and above par. The Brussel sprouts which I normally like weren't very good. Prices are above average while portions for the money are not very generous. A cup of soup is very very small while a bowl came in the smallest crock I've ever seen. And that's a shame as I feel their soup is one of their tastiest items. Service is hit or miss. Been there twice so far and both times servers took way too long to check back after the food came to see if we needed anything else or if everything was prepared as expected. The decor is very classy, inviting and unique. The atmosphere is very inviting but the portions, pricing and some of the dishes still need some consideration. It's cute and being open later in the day make it desirable but the 3 try may be my last if the other issues stay the same. read more

Went to dinner last night. Sat at the bar. Haley the bartender was awesome. Had a little band playing in the corner. Food was the best meal I have had in a long time. Make sure you check out the bathrooms and don't push the buttons. They did an excellent job turning a beat up building into the best place in town. read more

Party of 4 adults, one being a chef, went on a Monday night. We found the decor to be impressive as well as the themed restrooms. Remember to hit the button. Our server was friendly and accommodating although some more education on the menu could be helpful. Our SIL chef started out with the delicious bread and garlic butter candle then onto the steak sandwich and fries. He said everything was tasty and very reasonably priced. My husband liked his chicken sandwich and I had the special shrimp tacos. Daughter said French onion soup was great as well. We will be returning to try other entrees. There are two sides with one being bright and cheery and the other being black like a speakeasy. Your choice where to sit. It looks like "Clem" got it right. Welcome to Barberton! read more

I think this place has a great concept, but has some serious reworking to do. The menu was lackluster despite being name "viral eats". The price to portion ratio was also not a great value. The staff also was a rather slow, waiting 2 hours for our basic food.... I wouldn't recommend this place as it is but I do have hope they will improve the menu, prices, and service read more

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. The food was spectacular! I had the steak sandwich with a colorful homemade carrot and red pepper soup and my husband had the Clem's Classic burger along with the glazed brussel sprouts. Happened to be in the area and googled places to eat. Very cool place when you walk in. There is a restaurant and separate bar side. We opted for the bar side, darker cozier ambiance. Think light and dark. Met the owner very pleasant. Enjoyed listening to him talk about the space. Unfortunately our food was just so so. Very small portions for the price. My son ordered a chicken sandwich ( best tasting thing we ate) it had maybe half a handful of fries at best. I got the pulled pork sandwich, hardly any meat or coleslaw. Overwhelming bbq sauce ( house made nice spice) I did not care for the French onion soup at all. Butter candle and bread were very good, although pricy. Service was ok, nothing good or bad. Just kinda there. I hope some changes are made. Portion size being amongst the first. This could be a really neat spot. They do have a small plates menu that's available till 4 which had more reasonable prices. Might try again after some of the kinks are worked out.
