She was working on someone when I walked in and said it would be 10 mins... then 15... then 30. By the time 50 mins had passed, she wanted someone else to remove the gel on my toes and said she was going to be done soon. Mind you.... I had an appt at noon. It's now 12:50. Super bummed at the outcome of today. I typically go to Vicky and when I made the appointment yesterday they said Vicky was in but she wasn't. Instead I got this woman who was rough. Slamming my foot down over and over. So strange. I kept on saying "please be gentle". But she continued then my daughter was getting her acrylics replaced and the man working there did not soak the nails off. He tore them off and caused my daughter to bleed. She asked to soak them off and so first he chopped the tips then sat her with a metal bowl. He seemed confused she asked for this. As she was sitting soaking, visibly upset the lady giving me a chrome pedicure continued to be rough and got the chrome powder all over my feet and the result was super sloppy. She slammed my foot one last time and I said "that's enough you continue to be rough with me we are stopping now". At that time the man who tore my daughters acrylics off came over and I let him know I kept on asking the lady to be gentle and she continued to man handle me and I brought up the fact that he hurt my daughter and made her bleed. He tried to say he asked if she wanted a soak and I said "no you tore them off and she asked to soak" so I asked for the bill and for him to adjust the price. He said we were not satisfied and let us go without paying. We were grateful for that and left. What we didn't notice is the man and woman couple getting a pedi left when we did, they said they were being treated rough too and she was there because the last time she went the got a fungus and needed them to help fix it but they heard us and felt the same way so they left too. It's so sad because they used to be good. I do not suggest this place to anyone. read more

So Ive been a loyal jet nail's customer since 2015/2016 when they originally first opened (you can check my post history for the various posts) but I have to say I dont understand their price list. Today I got a deluxe gel french manicure and it cost 65$ (62$ with the 5% discount if paid in cash) And this is where I dont understand their price list because a deluxe manicure is listed as 35$ Assuming there is a mark up for gel and a mark up for french then this means that collectively is an additional 30$ I mean look, i really really love jet nails. Most of the girls there are great at what they do (there are a few exceptions whose work needs a bit more care) The salon is clean and hygienic and the place is well kept and modern I just wish I understood why I consistently pay 30-40$ more than the listed price set for my manis/pedis read more

JET NAILS SPA is located at 4019 Lincoln Blvd in the strip mall across from Jersey Mike's. The number is 424-835-4032. I like to try different nail spas and this was the first time for me. They were quite crowded for a Friday afternoon and they I ordered the $40 manicure/pedicure along with a neck and shoulder massage and added 10 minute arm and leg rub downs while fine, the pricing was in my mind excessive as I didn't quite understand the added costs. The total bill came out to $155 not including a $10 cash Tip for the service. The overall cost was kind of ridiculous as I didn't understand what I was getting for the $40 manicure/pedicure. The place itself is very busy and the interior could use a makeover. The restroom was clean which is always important to me. $185 for manicure, pedicure and massage? Kind of steep and I'll be more cautious if I decide to come back. read more

First time at this establish and Amy did an excellent manicure! Very clean and nice polish application. She knows how to apply it in single strokes , starting in the middle of the nail bed and then the sides so you can't see the strokes and not have to go over the nails by dabbing missed areas. I dislike when manicurist combine long & short strokes, dabbing at the end of your nail and then using a horizontal stroke- complete nonsense,you can see it in the polish. The manicurist was so unfriendly, had a sour face and kept pushing the extra services which I only added the callus remover and she didn't even do the area which I needed the most. This place just outright sucks. I went once to get a gel x manicure and overall it was good quality. If you're looking for a chit-chat with the nail tech, this isn't the place for that. I returned for a second time since the first time was good, and oh boy. I went for a gel pedicure and a fresh gel x set. They had me take my shoes and socks off and I stepped on a tack. A TACK! The kind that you press into a cork board. Luckily I had gotten a tetinus shot a few months before but jeez. Several nail techs witnessed me stepping on it and pulling it out of my foot, and all they did was take the tack and tell me to get in the chair and put my feet in the water. Looking back, I should've left then, but honestly I was confused and a little shocked. No apology or any recognition that I stepped on something that punctured my bare foot. I had another nail tech start to work on my nails and she did a horrible job. They were all completely different lengths. It was a joke. I also brought in these nail stickers I wanted them to apply to two of my nails and the tech gave me a look and said "Really? This is going to look weird." I DONT CARE! It's my nails! I paid $150 (not including tip) for this awful service. No money deducted for literally injuring myself and for terrible quality and customer service. It's tricky cause not all of the pedicurists/manicurists are that bad but it's the inconsistency for me. It seems that's the theme for a lot of girls that go. Maybe it depends the time of day or day in general but even with your favorite artist with a set appointment it's however THEY are feeling that will depend on the experience you have no matter how many years of loyalty or money you tip. Tony does the best shape work and tries his best with designs but it's best to keep it simple (his French tips are super clean work and when applying rhinestones they lasted tilt next appointment ) Phil is the most requested which explains his attitude from time to time. Don't get me wrong his work is super solid but his attitude makes it tricky to try and say you don't like something he's doing, for example a design or something. (For him as well it's best to keep it simple ,avoid asking for flowers or rhinestones) Natalie and Jolie are my personal favorite. Natalie follows directions or examples perfectly and will even offer a better twist on a reference picture. However she's kinda selective with new clients she takes on. Jolie is the sweetest and easiest to talk too. She also does a really good job at following sample pictures. Hannah also does really clean work. She's also really easy to talk to if you don't like something but keep it simple. (French tips, hearts, flowers, swirls, etc) Kim is the best pedicurist in my opinion. Thorough and pretty fast. **BEST NAIL SPOT ON THE WESTSIDE** Keke and his team offer AFFORDABLE nail packages in a cute salon with EASY PARKING!!! I have been religiously coming here every two weeks since 2016 and love it! I always get a gel manicure, deluxe pedicure and 15-25 min shoulder massage. The quality of the nail jobs here is amazing. They have a HUGE color selection and will happily do any design/ color combo/ tips you want for a small up charge. I love the deluxe pedicure because it includes callus remover, scrub and a 10 min leg/ foot massage. Also, don't forget to ask for a shoulder massage as they're amazing! $1/ min is worth every penny. Another big thing I love about this place is that it is very CLEAN. While it has the basic nail salon aesthetic, you constantly see them cleaning and only using freshly sterilized/ packaged tools. The staff is always friendly and will happily listen and make any changes you want. While some people will whine about the wait, I have learned over the years that it's all about WHEN you go. Don't go during peak times or expect to wait cause every single nail tech is busy. We all know by now that when you walk into a packed salon and they say it's only gonna be a few minutes it isn't. So go get a coffee and come back or come earlier or later another day. Jet Nails has definitely gotten much better about honoring appointment times. I always just make sure to include a little buffer time in case they're finishing someone when I get there. I've been coming to this place for years but it has just gotten out of hand what they charge now. Went in for gel pedicure (basic) one at that and to have my gel nails removed and a 20 min massage! I was charged $145 and they still wanted a tip at the end... and they stood right by me to make sure I tipped.. I don't appreciate the awkward standing around while paying. I ended up giving $15 more dollars.... Total cost for a gel pedicure and nail removal $160 is actually ridiculous. I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

I had been here once in the past and their customer service was beautiful. I went in at 6pm with my boyfriend, got him a pedi while I got a fill and gel pedi. The girl doing his feet looked like she hated her job, acted like there was a language barrier and didn't even bother cleaning under the toe nails, he had to ask her to do it... My girl working on my feet was zoning out also like she hated her job. The guy doing my nails, started off by talking sh*r on the last place I got them done at, only to make my nail really flimsy and it broke the next day. Plus the chrome chipped off. Their prices are outrageous and they have no sense of being nice and building a business relationship with their clients. I sat there basically in silence the entire time. They all acted money hungry and the massages were sub par. Back to my girl just zoning out on a spot in the center of my foot, it started to hurt and I had to ask her to do my calves just to get her to stop pressing in one spot the entire ten minute massage. She was horrible. I was trying to make her smile by complimenting her tattoos, she just sat there with a miserable look on her face. This salon and their employees have turned into some of the most money hungry people I've ever encountered. I brought my boyfriend with me bc I remembered an amazing time I had in the past, but this was a let down. The total was $236 for the worst most awkward experience I've had in a salon. MAKE SURE YOU GET A TECH THAT ACTUALLY CARES AND ISNT JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY. Will never go back and will always tell people this place is whack. read more

Typically I go in without an appointment and am able to be seated right away -- seems like more of a first-come-first-serve establishment. Longest I have waited is maybe 15 minutes. The quality of work differs from person to person. I have had one of the best pedicures here as well as one of the best manicures here. Sometimes it is very quick, sometimes it takes more time. Prices vary based on services. Sometimes they ask if I want services that will cost extra, sometimes they do it without asking and charge me, but I likely would have asked for the extra services anyways so maybe they just remember what I typically ask for. Occasionally I have been slightly disappointed in quality of work or attention to detail from the other nail techs, but overall would recommend! read more

My first visit here was an amazing experience! Kiki did an amazing gel mani and I got a great regular pedicure. My second, however, was horrible! Kim and the other women kept wanting to up charge me by pushing extra, unnecessary services (and yes, you can see how their demeanor changed as you decline). I had a broken nail and asked if she can patch it and she, verbatim, said "I won't charge". She then said she would dip my nails in powder. At check out, I noticed my bill was a lot higher than my last visit. I asked why and she mentioned she dipped my nails in powder. I mostly go in for pedicures and just about every girl that works there has worked on my pedicures and I have no complaints. I've gotten gel manicures too and they do a good job. I'm not big on acrylics but I just got them done this weekend and the guy did a good job! I have noticed that if you arrive first thing in the morning you will get seen and taken care of better and no rushing. Later in the day they get busy and or course they rush. I have never called to make an appointment, I always go in and someone sees me. If I don't like something I simply ask them to fix it and they do. The price isn't bad either.
