Services* - luxury pedicures that were $49 each The 2 ladies who oversaw our services were very professional and friendly. They asked if we wanted gel polish but we went ahead with regular polish. Once done, we sat there to let it dry and once ready, we asked them for the salon slippers as we had flip flops with some straps that may have disturbed the polish job. The concerns I had were: - I didn't pay attention if they put a top coat on before they turned on a fan to dry my toes. From my experience, they typically put top coat after the color polish has dried so I'm unsure if my MIL & I received a top coat. - from the pictures, it looks like the lady who did my service didn't clean up around the toenail so there are some polish residues on my skin - services*: I wish they would've communicated in advance that it'll be additional charges to take gel polish off for my MIL. I don't mind paying for the service if it's on their site or menu but it took me by surprise. Overall, I was charged $114 and some change for 2 luxury pedicures ($49) and 1 gel polish removal ($16). I ended up tipping $10 each (so total with tip was $134). Also fyi - I paid with credit card so if there was a credit card fee, I was not told/aware. I really value the staffs friendliness and the salon is SO cute and clean. It truly felt like a relaxing spa while we got our nails done. Tonight I visited for my usual brow treatment but also gave a 60 minute facial a try. It was amazing. I needed this relaxation for a while. Each step to the facial was so good, I didn't think it could get better but it did. My skin feels amazing and refreshed. Can't wait to book another! Her shop is cute, relaxing and super clean. When a treatment doesn't produce the expected results, the least a client should receive is a professional evaluation and a willingness to make things right, not excuses. On top of that, the receptionist consistently had a rude and dismissive attitude. She told me they would not provide any complimentary treatments, even though I never asked for one. All I wanted was to receive the service I had already paid for and have it done correctly. A reputable business stands behind its work and takes responsibility when something doesn't go as planned. Kevin and Bee are great at getting me what I want for design and longevity. I've been to their shop 3 times for different designs and non of my nails have chipped OR broken since. That's been unheard of for me because usually my nails have cracked about 2.5 weeks in. Thankfully I haven't had that issue at all. They definitely know what they're doing! On the other hand, I won't be going back for pedicures because it's not the level of detail or care that I want. The clipping and cleaning was fine but I wanted them to file my toenails smoother and thinner. All nails should be as close as possible in shape and size as they can get them, but the woman that did it was not that experienced. So, overall will be back for my manicures and gel-x sets but not for my pedicures.
