I'd decided it wasn't meant to be but then Yelp happened and upon searching Pure Sugar's site she had an opening at 4pm today. I was apprehensive but all her reviews talked about how sweet, personable and how keen her attention to detail was. For once the people spoke truth!!! Brandy is AMAZING!!! Waxing lady bits is personal business and can be traumatizing with the wrong hedge slayer in there just rip'n up weeds like they not attached to a million nerve endings! I normally take a bottle of tea tree soothing lotion and slater it on in the car after Sugaring. I'm out of habit and forgot today so I was worried how my drive home was going to be. I worried for nothing, Brandy even did the deep breath in strong exhale moments for the tough spots without me even saying anything or asking for those pauses pre-lift. Her sugar was buttery soft and warm and she knew the right moment to change her ball. Ugh I can't stand when someone keeps trying to use a sugar ball turned cold and hard on me, that don't feel good mam, stop it!!! Not only was she clearly intuned she was thorough, she got her inspector gadget magnifying light and tweezed the rebellious kids right out. Lastly, I forgot to ask her what it was but she rub something on my skin and it simmered down so well that I didn't need to apply anything when I got home!!! Normally you have to pay for any kind of soothing cream for after care but Brandy obviously gets that it should be part of the service Plus what better way to guarantee return customer than making sure they have as comfortable of an experience as possible! 5 stars?? Really?? Had a horrible experience!! I'm Very unhappy that this lady tried to make me pay an extra $200 when I got to my appointment. Found her through groupon for eyebrow microblading and the deal was pretty good but she blindsides you and refuses to do your brows unless you pay her another mandatory $200 for a 6 week retouch and you must pay $100 deposit immediately to ensure that you will go to that appointment (to pay her the other $100!) and get retouched. Bear in mind I was first told this while my brows were numbed and I'm laying there ready to have her get started. I was appalled! Most other places don't charge for a touch up and they definitely wouldn't try to force anyone to come back for one if the person didnt want to. They also wouldn't force you to pay $ right there on the spot. They also wouldn't just back out of a service that is paid for when it's about to get started. The entire situation was just wrong! Since I didn't agree to pay the $100 deposit she refused to continue with the service, wiped the numbing cream off and that was that. I've never had such horrible service and I think it's just unethical what she was trying to do. Bad attitude since the start and doesn't care about her customers. Waste of time. We are SPEECHLESS! Thank you so much Ly for giving Misha her confidence back again. Since Misha suffers from Alopecia Universalis the past two years have been really tough for her & the rest of us. We just didn't know what to do. Microblading was our one option to make her feel beautiful again. We looked everywhere to try and find a solution to help her feel like her old self, but we were unsuccessful. Ly is amazing and one of the best kept secrets in OC! She is certified in the Longmi technique, created by Daniel Dinh, Lash guru to Hollywood. You can search for him online and see for yourself. They charge $290 - 330 for a full set and $180-280 for a touch up. I've been coming to Ly for about 6 months and am religious with my routine of touch ups every 2 weeks, and am always on point. At her prices, you can't afford not to. If you're on a budget, trust me give up the manis, lattes, or whatever and get on a lash routine. It makes such a huge difference to your appearance and you deserve it, right? She gets booked but does what she can to work with her clients. Love this girl!!! P.S. Look at all of her before/after photos. That's how I decided to try her in the 1st place and it was the best decision. I came all the way from Arizona to spend the last 3 days taking Ly's PhiContour class. It was worth every single penny! The saying "you get what you pay for" has never been so true. Ly is extremely knowledgeable and has a true passion for her profession. Her assistant is also amazing and truly cares about the students! Ly cares about your success more than anything and she does not let a single detail slip by that she knows will help you in your future career with permanent makeup.
