When I expressed that I wasn't happy with the outcome of my hair, I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than listened to. I requested a refund, but it was denied! What upset me the most was my interaction with the salon owner. I felt the conversation became hostile, and I was uncomfortable when they laughed during the discussion. I also didn't appreciate comments made about another stylist's professional opinion. Instead of feeling heard or respected as a customer, I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed. Based on my personal experience, I would not return or recommend this salon. Instead, over 3 inches were cut and layers were added without her consent. She also asked for a blowout, but Ashley curled her hair anyway, increasing the cost. When she washed her hair the next day, her ends were clearly burned--likely why it was curled to hide the damage. When she called to speak to the manager, Ashley called back instead, became defensive, and accused her of lying. The manager later said she "understood both sides" but still told her she was no longer welcome--just for asking for a refund on a service she didn't want. They refunded the haircut, but the way they handled it was unprofessional and dismissive. Definitely not what you'd expect from a "high-end" salon!
