I'm more of subtle, natural look. She spent an extra hour to help me, take down some on the middle and I really appreciate the service... I tried to love it but the kids at work asked what happened to my lashes and if I went to a costume party :( I didnt take a photo to share til after 1 week of most of it falling out. (Attached photo where I have a few left of the volume wisp spider eye , wearing black shirt with hair down.) Trying to schedule 3rd appt since April 5th when the gaps started showing..and April 12th how it looks in attached photo wearing black. Even though I live smack dab in the heart of Ala Moana, I will happily make my monthly pilgrimage over the mountain to see her - she's just that good. The waxing studio is on the second floor of the building, right at the top of the stairs that's facing the parking lot. Her space is super clean and welcoming, with a waiting lounge in the front. I have no idea how she makes something as painful as waxing such an easy experience - it's amazing how smooth my skin is, with no irritation after. She uses hard wax, which is much gentler than strip waxes (or me trying to tweeze each hair one by one...) She's also very meticulous about brows, making sure that everything is as even as possible, and never made me feel like she's rushing through my appointment. While the space is too small for couples massages, we were able to go in the steam together and after we went into a room to drink our water/tea and relax ahead of the massage. Once they took us into the room the music was relaxing and they did a great job to ask where to focus and check in to make sure the pressure wasn't too much/too little. I had A LOT of tension in my back. While she was working on some problem areas I asked some questions about why it might be so tense/painful and it definitely was a mix of working out the pain to feel relief. The big takeaway was that I shouldn't go years between massages. After the massage we went back to the relaxation room and drank more water before heading out to pay.
