The very best nail salon in Logan Square! After having a poor experience at another salon, I came here for a full set. I was blown away by the service. Amy took her time to not only careful soak my nails off and protect my real nails, but she also educated me on the different products used at salons. I've never had a nail tech care so much my nails before. She went out of her way to make sure I was happy with them. On top of that, she's super friendly and fun to hang out with. So I had asked for long nails, a few days after getting them I realized I had over done it and needed my nails to be shorter. Amy was super accommodating on fitting me in the file them down. Not only do they do great work, it's like getting your nails done by your friend. Everyone is super nice. This is the only nail salon I will recommend from now on. I have NEVER left this salon without feeling 100% satisfied & gorgeous! Beautylicious is your one-stop-shop for all of your beauty needs. Hair, eyebrows, and especially nails. They do it all! I definitely recommend making an appointment ahead of time, because while they will take a walk in if they have any openings, they rarely have last minute openings. If you can't reach them by phone, then shoot them a message on Facebook or Instagram, and they will get back to you soon. I went to Lisa and Amy for my nails, and they always rocked it out. You can take any idea to them, and they can make it happen. My nails were always shaped perfectly, and were never too thin or thick. Any type of special design I want, they always accommodate, and I always get so many compliments on my nails! They are a little bit pricier than some other nail shops, but you really get what you pay for with them, which is high quality, beautiful work. How in the world does Beautylicious not have 5 stars??!! Let me start by saying this...I work in the restaurant/service industry. I am not allowed to have my nails done. I got Acrylics done two times at another Salon. Yes, it was cheap. But after my nail broke they were very rude when I told them I WILL pay to get the one nail fixed, even after it popped off Day #2. I had it with the salon and told them to take them off and they TRIPLE charged me. Needless to say I was done treating myself. Just before my 30th Birthday I wanted to get my nails done. I was going to Texas. I found Beautylicious online. Inquired on price (more expensive than a crappy salon but not so much your going to cry over). The owner Lisa told me to come in at 5:30Pm the night before my flight so my nails were all fresh. She was A DOLL. She stood waaaay past closing to do my nails. She did a Black marble affect on my nails with white/silver streaks and one turquoise accent nail. My love affair with Beautylicious...especially Amy started then! I went back to get HALLOWEEN themed nails and I cannot tell you the COMPLIMENTS I get! All the ladies in my kitchen always come look at my nails and asked for their information to get their nails done too. Now, Amy is my lady! She is not only beaufitul inside and out but she is a talented woman! I love spending time with her. She truly LOVES her job! For my next set I decided to try Cat Claws and fell in looooove. So much easier to work with. I decided on some blood nails because I'm creepy like that. After that I just did a simple black/glitter set. I use to see Amy for 2 years straight. I use to love seeing her and getting my nails done by her. But we fell off after I left out of state. First, I felt like she took advantage of me. She left my nails damaged n molding underneath. Never told me ONCE to take a break. Thank God the day Amy had an emergency the day I had an appointment with her because I ended going to another nail salon. When the other nail technician did my nail she told me to take a long break because I had mold under them and to let them heal. I think it was at least 2 nails. If it wasn't for that lady, I would of kept getting my nails done twice every month!! I literally gave Amy so much money and was very generous about my tips. After 2 years, I moved back. I was skeptical about coming back to Amy because everything that went on but I went back because I wanted a certain look. (With the bling n all that extra stuff) honestly, I was so pissed last time I got my nails done from her. Which I believe was last year. She always did great on my nails but when it came to my pedicure. Not the best. Literally she made toes look so bad. Didn't even clean the cuticle and the filing was HORRIFYING. & I gave her a $40 tip??? The nail tech who did my pedicure after her was like "who the heck did your toes?" I was so embarrassed. It literally looked out she just slapped the paint on. After I reached out to Amy, months later she told me I should of told her reached out to her immediately. I just don't be appreciate how she took advantage of my money and she knew what kind of job I had too. Which doesn't make it better. I refuse to be so generous like that anymore and just give out my hard worked money. I learned a big lesson from this one.. I recommend going to Nailicious and seeing Claudia. She is amazing!!! Horrible! I went in for a no-chip and a pedi. My pedi was all over the place. Bumps and lint all over it. Didn't even touch the cuticles around my toe nails. My no-chip was but horrible. Transparent, bumpy, and once again didn't even touch my cuticles. The nail tech was also complaining that I wanted a pedi because she had done about 5 pedis before and her back was hurting. This review is quite old. I went in months ago, to get an ombre and a haircut. When I arrived, the stylist seemed bothered that I was there. She didn't introduce herself, just took me to a chair to sit down. I found out who she was by a picture on their facebook page. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. I've seen pictures showing, that she is quite talented and capable so it's shame my hair was damaged. I left hours later, with bleach burned hair, and the type of haircut I didn't ask for. I wanted a V shape cut, and the cut went straight across and was choppy. She didn't tone. The blowdry was not smooth. It seemed she wasn't listening at all to what I wanted, so I left without having her fix it. Enough time had been wasted. I have a friend that always came into my job with her nails done beautifully. I had asked her where she got them done and she told me it was at Beautylicious. I knew of this place because it's near my house. I finally decided to check it out, this was a bit over a month ago. I got my nails done by Amy. I never get a full set of nails because I prefer my natural nails, but lately my clumsy self has been breaking my nails at work all the time, I had to do something. I work in the beauty field myself and part of our dress code is to have nice nails wether they were real or acrylic, long or short. I prefer my nails long but with breaking them at work all the time and no time to do my nails myself I opted for the acrylics. When I got my nails done with Amy I was just going to do a standard black polish. I'm going through a hardship right now and as an homage to our kidnapped cat I asked her if she could do a green cat eye as an accent nail. I found an image for her and boy did she nail it! I went with a square look and after a couple of weeks I decided the square look was not for me and should've listened to Amy when she suggested the "coffin" look. It looks more natural than the square look. I went back just this past week for my fill in and asked if she can do the coffin look instead and of course that's exactly what she did. Again I asked her for a different look (because I like to be fancy and difficult sometimes) and she did another beautiful job. Because I like to get adventurous with my nails she told me she was going to have design ideas available for the next time I come in since she sees I like getting fancy with my nails. It's small, cute and very personable there. And you can actually speak to your nail tech, not sit in awkward silence like in many of the other nail salons. I would absolutely recommend them! This is definitely a place to go to to get all of your beauty on. I got my hair done. I got an ombre done with 3 different colors. The girl who did my hair i showed her what i wanted and she definitely accomplished it i got 3 different colors done purple orchid and magenta and it was on point then months later i decided to go all purple and she did a 2 tone purple. i loved it. I amd a regular there and ive recommend alot of my friends to go there and they now have become regulars as well. Oh let me not forget the nails. They are definitely on point they donsome bad ass designs. The atmosphere is calming and you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. I just recently got my rhinestone nails from this place after checking out their IG page and they were absolutely beautiful :) Lisa does a great job on nails from matte to rhinestone they are the absolute best. Everywhere I go I get nothing but complements from other females on my nails .they shine and glisten so much it's almost blinding. It's going on two weeks and none of my rhinestones have fallen off. I was also her first rhinestone to the feet customer. She glammed the hell out my feet that my boyfriend was amazed when I took off my socks lol. Their shop is so cute pink and blAck decor and their pedi room is small but comfortable with a flat screen tv to look up at to watch tv as you get your feet done. I am mad I didn't know about this place earlier this is the only place I will ever get rhinestone nails from. I've been coming to the salon since last year... I love it... Any and Lisa are great... Amy is a great hair stylist and Lisa is the bomb on nails.. I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to my hair and nails, when I came here the girls were extra nice. Amy was real gentle with my hair... I'm very sensitive when it comes to my hair and even though she didn't pull my hair she constantly asks if she's hurting you... Nevertheless, she does an awesome job and I wouldn't go anywhere else... Now Lisa is the queen on nails... I always come out of there looking and feeling like a diva... Okay so I have called this place for months now no one answers, finally got a number to someones cell phone and text them they never responded. When they finally did they gave me an appointment I couldn't keep and ran to other people saying they couldn't schedule me no more, because I keep canceling. OMG HORRIBLE don't even bother going. First thing first, the first time I made an appointment I actually had a bad family emergency so wasn't able to make it or call to cancel.... They decided to block my number so that I want able to contact them again .... Because according to them that's something they do. When I was finally able to contact them and made an appointment for acrylic nails and a balayage... I get there and the lady immidietly gave me attitude and even seemed like she didn't want to be there . The moment I sat on her chair I felt hit I was In hell, she started putting bleach on my hair wearing the wrong gloves. Abs was using plastic gloves that you probably use to make a sandwich . She was pulling in my hair so much that tears were coming out. I let her know that the was hurting me badly but of course didn't care... Also entire time when ever I tried starting a conversation she's refuse to talk back. ... The worst part of my experience was that she left the beach on my hair for more than two hours .. With that led to frying my hair ... Of course she suggest to cut my hair to shoulder length I refused because my hair was down to my butt , I want going to cut that much off. She got upset and said that she's only cut a bit to give me some letters and the length she's only cut half an each I said okay trusting her as a stylist .... She pulled my hair back and started cutting and blow drying at the end when she finished and pushed my hair forward that's when I actually got really upset. She had cut all my length off and my hair was almost to my shoulders . And my hair wad orange So please if you plan in stopping by here to get your hair done ... After going to the same hair stylist for over 5 years I decided it was time for a change and did I make a great decision! I asked a few friends on FB and was recommended to Amy. I looked at her work on IG and decided to go in and give her a try. She gave me a complete change went from an ombré to a very sexy red! My hair was also thinning and I was losing a lot of hair she gave me what I like to call her magical touch bc 6 months later I have a head full of very healthy hair.
