I love ColorBox! I have been coming to this location for over a year and have always received wonderful service and my nails always look great! Leah, the owner, is so nice and fun. I call on very short notice and they always try their best to get me in. They have a great selection of colors and everyone that works there is helpful and friendly. I always get no chip manicures. Sometimes my nails are short and Leah does a great job of making them look good- even when they are short. I would highly recommend ColorBox. I'm so glad I found them and that they are so close to my house!
In town visiting my besties and we talked about how we needed a pedi bad before the Suga concert! My friend that lives here said this is her go to place because they do a great job! She was able to make a last minute ressie for us on a Friday afternoon. We were greeted warmly when we walked in, picked our nail polish and led to our massage chair right away. The salon is a good size and clean. My nail tech (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was nice and did a great job on my pedi. I actually don't get pedis a lot but the last time I had one, the girl was kinda rough and cut one of my toenails too short! Dangy! So I appreciated how smoothly it went here. If I lived in town, this would probably be my go to place. My pedi was $40 before tip. On the higher end price wise but oh well. You pay for quality! I don't like feet otherwise I'd post a pic of my freshly painted toots. Hahaha But it's been a week now and my pedi still looks great:)
I was in town needing my nails done and was so lucky to get in and meet Yen. First she did a fabulous job on my toes, she was meticulously and thorough and my toes look fantastic! Then Yen did my nails and they're beautiful! I showed her a picture and she got what I wanted right away. I heard women all over the salon singing the praises and how much they loved their nails. I highly recommend fashion nails and Yen!
I highly recommend seeing Leah for a gel overlay mani! I've been coming to ColorBox for the past few months and have consistently had a great experience. The gel overlay has lasted me nearly six weeks with no chipping or issues, and also lets me keep my natural nails long without sacrificing strength. The salon is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the overall experience is great.
WORST PEDI EVER- STILL BLEEDING AN HOUR LATER AND TERRIBLE JOB. SEE PICS if I could give zero stars I would. this is my third pedi here and third time it's a disaster. I've have three different nail techs, all disastrous results. nails are uneven, cut awkwardly, and streaks in the polish. this last time, with nail tech "Twee," I was cut multiple times and badly bleeding for an hour on one tie. the white rage you put your feet on was like a period pad! her solution was to keep dousing me with rubbing alcohol, it was by far the most painful nail experience I've ever had! not to mention that the pedi was barely 15 min. the water was boiling hot, she just blunt cut my nails, No filing or shaping, and they look like a nightmare. see pics. staff ignored my issues. like literally turned a blind eye and blatantly ignored me when I tried to mention it when I checked out. not cool. I honestly don't know how they have good reviews, because the women around me getting their pedi looked like similar results, although without the blood. I suspect lots of reviews from friends and not patrons. the first time here my friend paid as a birthday gift, and the second time was a bridal party situation so I just invented excuse why it was so bad. but this is ridiculous.
Absolutely LOVE my nails, every time. I've being going to Colorbox for 3 years now. The staff treats you like family, always excited to see you when you walk in the door. Tina is my go-to. She does amazing work, never disappoints! I love a natural look with a little sparkle and today's mani and pedi were perfect!
Leah is amazing! Her nail art is spectacular. Every time I have been here, the staff has been wonderful and gentle. I have never had a poor experience. I have pretty sensitive skin and have had bad experiences at so many places, but Color box has always been wonderful. The techs have always been respectful and accommodating and do their best to replicate what I ask for. They are gentle and really take their time regardless of getting a regular mani, gel, or something else. Definitely recommend.
it pains me (literally) to leave this review. I have been coming to Color Box for a decade+. I just had my big toenail removed. It spent 40 healthy years on my foot but suffered two infections in the past 5 years, both immediately following color box pedicures. The poor nail never quite rebounded after the first trauma and the second one required a strong antibiotic regimen to kill. I should have learned from the first one but wanted to give benefit of the doubt as I love this place. It doesn't appear to be fungal...my belief (which the podiatrist and tests concur) is that the pedicures were so rough that bacteria was literally forced into and under my cuticles. If you choose to go, be vocal about the manhandling...a pedicure shouldn't hurt! If your toe starts to look like the one on the left in this picture get some meds asap!
I've been going here for the past 3.5 years since my girlfriend, Jill, recommended and raved about their no-chip mani and fun nail art designs that you can implement as well. I went there when Linda was the manager, and she ran this business well. She was great at customer service, took the time to get to know her clientele, and kept the place clean and tidy. Angie is currently the manager now at colorbox and she is fantastic. She has done my nails before (photos attached), very creative and talented and my no-chip manicures always last more than 2 plus weeks. I haven't had the chance to go as frequently due to the pandemic, but in the past 8 months, I went 3 times to get my nails/toes prepped for my sister's wedding. Henry was my nail technician during the visits and hands down, my absolute favorite ! Not every technician at Colorbox can do nail art design as it takes talent, experience and a lot of patience and I try to request him every time. He is a delight to work with; friendly and takes the time to listen to my nail art ideas and brainstorm with me, and keeps my nails and toes looking fresh. I was blown away by his precision to tiny details for today's mani as my nails were quite short after all ongoing breakage, but he managed to hand paint all tiny cute mushrooms, sparkles, smiley face etc with ease. My "psychedelic groovy nails" from today make me so happy every time I look at them. It's the little things like this that makes self-care so worth the time and money. As others have mentioned, ColorBox has gone downhill. This is a pic of my gel mani 9 days after I had it done - it's peeling and chipping. Additionally the original mani was done poorly with only two coats to the point that you could still see my nail underneath the color. I also did not find the employees friendly. Waste of money and I will not be coming back. read more

Don't waste your money! This does not look like I went to the salon. The whole purpose of going to a salon is to get your nails done by an expert, whom can file them in a consistent shape. These are neither straight or rounded and my toes, they are crooked! read more

I really liked my first time at ColorBox. First of all, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and bright, with pretty plants. It was quiet, and felt calm and relaxing. Technician Nomi was careful and detailed with my no chip mani and pedi, and she did my nails short and round like I asked. I wish I took photos right afterwards, but I only took photos after going to the gym and bouldering. I was pleasantly surprised that after rock climbing there wasn't a single chip, so I will definitely be back! read more

Scheduled nail art based off of the photos I saw on Yelp. My nail tech did an amazing job! She was so meticulous and took her time, fixing any tiny mistake that was made. It took a while to complete the art, but it was worth it in the end. Highly recommend! read more

They are usually pretty booked and fairly so! I have always had a great experience at ColorBox. They greet everyone as they come in and are always very friendly. I never feel rushed, even when their clients are flooding through the door. Each technician takes their time and is very clean. So far, I have had my nails done by Ama, Linh, and Moon. All of them were a pleasure and did great work. read more

Went here for the first time for a no-chip mani and regular pedi. I was a walk-In, but they were able to accommodate me despite being packed. Gabi was really great and did an amazing job on my nails. Definitely going back. I spent $75 before tip. Also, if you pay in cash, you get $5 off. read more

I definitely got french tips like I asked. But they could definitely look better. It just looks like I did them on my own at home, so that's not worth $50. They painted the white stripe first and then put one coat of pink over the entire toe. read more

Colorbox is literally the best nail place I've ever been to. Not only is the staff super sweet, creative and professional, but the work they do is exceptional! I have a Pinterest board full of nail designs and if I show the design to a tech, they will replicate it exactly. Most times even better than the photo. Nail art here is I always get a no chip and at other places I notice I'm chipping after at least a week. Here... they stay in perfectly until my next appointment. Do yourself a favor and go here. You won't be disappointed!! One recommendation is to call ahead for an appointment, because they do get busy! read more

I've been coming to ColorBox for a little over a year now! The first time was for my wedding and I've been every 3-4 (occasionally 5 ) weeks since! The polished were applied extremely thick... cuticle were lightly pushed plus her trashy cuticle trimming skills,Ends with bad results. I kindly ask her to repolish my nails it is definitely obvious that my so call freshly done manicure results turns outlike a week and half grown manicure?! The tall lady who worked me was upset because I mentioned some error her response "why did you show me and point cuticle" fyi I replied " are you going to just leave my hang nail like that? This is at the ending of my polished before top coat applied. she's upset I think she needs some glasses or better lights clearly she don't know how to do a simple manicure asking myself if she's a professional? I don't think so... I happened to land here because my sister lives not to far from this place , I happen to pass by when I get off of 90/94Fullerton and takes western all the down to Lawrence. I don't think I will be back. The person who did my nails was just so rude.. who takes 5 hours for a basic manicure layers of Polish to dry 5 hours pass by and my nails dry on top but the under layer not dry and still smudge read more

It's 40+ since it depends on how intricate the design is and how long it took to do.

It's $40 with card/ $38 with cash for a no chip manicure without nail art.

The cost of no chip mani and pedi is $75 card/ $70 cash without nail designs. You are always welcome to buy the gift cards.

No they don't have Dazzle Dry. However they have Essie gel couture which is long lasting.
What is the price for no chip removal & classic manicure? I can't seem to find service prices anywhere.
Call them & ask I go in for a no chip & pedi the price is $65 but it lasts long.
Are massages included in the pedicure service?
Yes, there is feet massage including in Pedicure.
Do they use new tools for every customer?
They do. They even use liners in the tubs for pedicures. The salon is extremely clean.
