I never thought I'd write a 5 star review for a car dealership, but we truly had a great experience here! We were initially talking with Terry Shelton through calls and text. He was very positive, helpful, and never pressured us. Once arriving at the dealership, Terry was busy with another customer, so he introduced us to Neil Schmidt. Neil was very personable and easy to talk to and work with. The experience was easy and pleasant. The entire process from arriving at the dealership, test driving, negotiations, finance department to detailing only took about 2 1/2 hours, which is unheard of! We also weren't sitting at Neil's desk for 20 minutes at a time being "work down" when he went to talk to the manager during negotiations. He was only gone about 5 - 10 minutes, which is great compared to other dealerships I've dealt with in the area. During these times, Terry also checked in with us and he was also great to deal with. The finance department was shockingly quick also. Everything is electronic and you walk out with a flash drive with all your paperwork instead of the classic stack of a million papers. They also pointed out that you can always get copies of the paperwork from them, if needed. If you are looking to buy a vehicle, do yourself a favor and go to Beaver Chevrolet. I also highly advise you to specifically ask for either Neil or Terry. Both are easy to work with and great to talk to while waiting (which won't be as long as at other dealerships!). read more

From the very first time stepping foot through the doors we were "Wow'd". Bernie and Roma are the guys to see! It's so nice to meet sales people that actually care about their customers. The Service Department is THE WORST EVER. I'd rather pay for oil changes elsewhere than be tortured to get their free ones. They have zero respect for your time. You make an appointment and are told it will take less than an hour, but they don't tell you they also take walk ins. So, if 5 people walk in at 8am your 9am service is pushed back -- maybe until noon. When I tried to give them a second chance, I'd called and scheduled an appointment knowing I still may have to wait. The service advisor put me on hold to check on parts and assured me that they did have the necessary parts. I go to my appointment 5 days later to be greeted with no one having any record of my appointment. I wait an hour to be told they have to order the parts. It's beyond ridiculous and they must spend all of their money on commercials telling you how they're going to "wow" you instead of hiring competent personnel. You'll say wow all right. The service here is beyond ridiculous. This was our third and last time using Beaver Chevrolet. First time was for purchasing a vehicle...the worst. They took my husband's vehicle and did not give him the truck that was promised. Instead they lied for almost two weeks about it being at the port in Georgia. The salesman finally told the truth and said his manager told him to say it because they didn't think he was serious about buying the truck. They didn't think he was serious but you took his truck and kept it without even offering to return it. Please make it make sense. The second and third times were for the "free" oil changes. The service time was horrible, absolutely no customer service, and virtually no masks. The guy who is checking cars in had on no mask. I am not sure why they allow this when he is getting in and out of vehicles all day. There is a pandemic going! Once inside, Dave made the comment "everyone in the dealership had COVID and it's not that big of a deal." Quite an insensitive thing to say. You don't know who has lost loved ones to Covid or how bad someone may have suffered from it. If you want to be treated rudely, lied to, and have your time completely wasted, then visit Beaver Chevrolet. It all started when I woke up on New Year's Eve from a dream that I'd gone to Beaver Chevrolet and purchased a Tesla, disappointed of course, because I had not in fact awakened as the owner of my dream car. Later that day, I sent a text to my friend, Eli, the sales manager, about the dream; he instantly replied he had three Teslas in his pre-owned inventory, and he convinced me to come take a look. Trust me when I say the 30+ mile drive to this dealership on New Year's Eve was well worth it. Upon arrival to Beaver, my prospective vehicle was waiting right out front. I was greeted by Eli and my salesperson, Jamie, and got right into the 2021 Tesla to take it for a test drive. You would've thought this car was brand new. A quick trip down the street and back, my mind was made up. But, like most car shoppers, my eagerness turned to apprehension as I was concerned with the kind of numbers that would be presented to me and what it would take for them to meet my budget. Within 10 minutes, Eli came into Jamie's office with the unimaginable...numbers well-below what I had in mind. I couldn't believe it. Between the selling price and the amount for my trade-in, I was primed to drive away in my literal dream car with a very affordable monthly payment in less than two hours--start to finish. We didn't both need to play hardball to meet in the middle and there was none of that slimy-dealer pressure you get at other places. The deal spoke for itself. Other dealers: take note! You can save your customers a ton of time, stress, and money by offering them the best deal from the start. In the past, I've equated the car buying process to going to the dentist--it's not an ideal use of time, it's painful, and always takes longer and more money than you think. Even if I didn't drive away in my dream car, I can honestly say I enjoyed the experience. I didn't have time to take full advantage of the amenities because my deal was lightning fast, but they have a putting green and a cinema with massage chairs on site. They even had Jimmy Johns subs and chips (and popcorn!) for their customers. It wasn't just about the transaction; it was about the experience, and one not just reserved for friends of the sales manager--everyone is treated like a friend. I'm a firm believer that, at any establishment, the way a potential customer is valued is a direct reflection of how the ownership/management values it's staff. It was obvious the Beaver team genuinely enjoy their jobs and several salespeople, including Tore, raved about how great the owners treat them. It's taken me a couple days to find the right words to fully convey my recent experience at Beaver Chevrolet and it's hard to believe unless you experience it for yourself. the service department is filled with incompetent people. 2020 Chevrolet 1500 with a 3.0 Duramax was brought in for a fuel issue. they covered the warranty and replaced the parts. a couple weeks later the same issue happened. they said the truck was out of warranty and contaminated fuel is the culprit. now it's $20k to fix. why wasn't a fuel test done before performing a $20k job? my insurance talked them down $4k on the job because they were double charging labor for individual jobs when the same labor would apply to other parts being replaced. this dealership is a scam. read more

The service department is a mess. I called for an oil change and warranty issue with the drive train. I was told 1.5 hours for the oil change plus a couple hours more to figure out what was going on with the drive train. When asked why an hour and a half, the service advisor said there were people in front of me (we had an appointment and we're on time for it). Nobody met us at the drop off area. This was our "free oil change" because it was the first service. This is when the service department should be at their best..you know...so we have a good experience and come back. You seem like a sweet lady and your commercial states, "We're here to wow ya" I loved your commercials so much I decided to call your dealership The Beaver Chevrolet on Phillips Highway. I spoke to Kurtis one of your salesmen. He gave me a run down of what you had available which was only a few of the Chevy Blazer which is what I was interested in. Kurtis said he would call me whenever you received more options. He kept his word and called me this week and gave me all the choices and prices, so me and my husband decided to come in and see your inventory. We found a beautiful 2016 model we test drove it and we were ready to discuss the deal. Kurtis told me the price on the vehicle was 32.500. When we test drove the vehicle we loved it we did notice the headlight was cracked, some of the leather was pealing on the front seat, and there were a few scratches on the car. Kurtis said oh, we can fix that no big deal, we will fill the gas tank and give you 3 free oil changes. I asked him if the vehicle had been wrecked because I noticed the back of the vehicle bumper didn't look like the vehicle beside this one. He looked up the Carfax and said it had been in a minor fender bender. We were still willing to purchase the vehicle even though it had these few issues and also high mileage which was around 114,000. We went into the dealership and told them the price is 32,500 and we would like to get the price down to 31,000. I said my husband retired from JSO after serving 31 years, so do we get some type of discount? I was told yes we can give him a discount. Kurtis told us he would need to speak to The Manager Dustin and get right back to us. After he talked to Dustin he came back and said we can do it for a little less, but we can't do it for less than price A and fix the issues or we can keep it at price B and not fix the issues with the vehicle. I said look, I'm willing to pay 31,500 that's as high as I will go. I said, "Your not wowing me" The commercial states, "We're here to wow ya" Your Manager Dustin was not willing to do this and let us walk out of the dealership. Today I received a call from Kurtis and he said he just wanted to reach out to me to let me know they are willing to give me the price I want but I have to finance the vehicle with your dealership. I told them I could come by your dealership and give them a check they could cash as a down payment to hold the vehicle and I could get a loan tomorrow when I get off work early from my bank. I explained to them my husbands retirement payments go into our credit union so it would just be easier for us to get a loan through our bank and not your dealership. Kurtis asked me if I could get on the phone with his boss Dustin and explain it to Dustin. I said, "What is there to explain"? Dustin got on the phone, he stated they wanted to work with me and give me the vehicle but I needed to finance with your dealership. I told him it was easier for me to just deal with my bank due to my husbands direct deposit going into our bank the process for us would be easier. I said I can give you a check to cash to hold the vehicle until tomorrow until I get my loan. He said then we cant do the deal. I said do you get a commission if I finance with you? He said no he doesn't get a commission but the dealership gets extra $ for me to finance with the dealership and with the extra $ they get that's the only way they could reduce the price of the vehicle for me. I said listen, I can go into any bank with my credit score which is over 900 and get a loan. I don't give a shi* if that's with your bank, my bank for any other bank but It's EASIER FOR US TO GO THROUGH OUR BANK!! He then said to me I won't tolerate you cussing at me! Sorry but that is not cussing at him, that is just stating facts. He had me so frustrated and aggravated and I couldn't wait to get off the phone with him. He then said well Ms. Laura I guess we don't have a deal, I said I guess not and hung up the phone. A few hours later I did message Kurtis and I told him I was sorry we couldn't close the deal for him and I thanked Kurtis for trying to help us. I am going to my bank tomorrow on first thing on Monday to get a loan and when we get financing, I will not be writing a check to your dealership, I will be taking my $ somewhere else. I bought a used 2014 4runner from this business for nearly $30k. I questioned open recalls and was told they would check it and let me know the status. Also, i questioned the tires because they appeared to be worn. I was assured they were fine. That they were just dirty. After leaving the dealership i called them about this open recall and they never called me back. I went to another Toyota dealer and found there was a problem with the fuel pump. Toyota replaced it free of charge. A few days after the purchased i went to Discount Tires and found the tires were completely worn out. The were down to 4/32 tread. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.. Notice on their Reviews they on post the good ones. You will not find the negative one i posted. We dropped our Tahoe off at 8 am on a Monday morning to have a break recall looked and to address a vibration issue, not once did anyone call us and let us know they were out a month for service. They held our vehicle for four days and supposedly did not even look at it yet. We picked it up and while driving home I noticed my A/C was not blowing out cool air. Car was with Beaver on Phillips Highway for 2 days ON 11/1/19 when I received the car heating was working but the next morning red fluids was running out of the car. Return the Car and was told that there another issue when I Paid $129.00 for a diagnostic which suppose to cover the WHOLE ENGINE FRONT, BACK SIDE, BOTTLE AND TOP. received the lane excused that was not detected. that the care now needs a throttle body and Bleeding wholes Replace additional $751.14 include service fee which I initial paid for. I was really impressed with the thoroughness of the explanations for service and work done when I got the bill for a $19.95 tire rotation, they added on a $4.98 junk fee...that's 25% more for overhead. If I had known that total price, I would have gone elsewhere. The service rep explained that it is a charge for all tire rotations. My question is if it is an add on for all tire rotations, why not tell the customer that the cost is $25? I feel deceived. This isnt just me, Consumer Reports tells their subscribers to watch for these fees. I was "Wow-ed", and not in a good way. read more

I was insulted beyond belief at this dealership by Marty "Fat Dog" Wiggins who is a salesmen since he was 19 so that right there should tell you something about his character. He's a career liar, excuse me, "salesmen" Completely driven by what he gets out of the deal regardless who he insults or how he obtains it. When he asked my wife and I what I did for a living I told him I was disabled and before I had a chance to utter another word he immediately says "well YOU don't bring anything to the table" and proceeded to turn his back to me and turn towards my wife as if now she's the one to focus on cause I dont have any income as far as he thought but way wrong. I'm a 100% disabled veteran and this man insulted me beyond words. If you are disabled you know what this would make you feel like if said to you. I have YET to this day received an apology from this man nor from the dealership. All the did was sell me a truck and take a few buck off but still treated me like a sales opportunity rather than fixing an insult that does not go away. Their handling of this is completely unprofessional but I guess expected from low life car salesmen. You seriously have to be desperate to be a car salesmen. Only job lower is debt collectors. He still remains employed even though they assured us he would be fired when the owners got back from wherever they were..convenient but whatever. I came here for an oil change and to order a door handle for my truck on July 3rd. Kevin said he will order it and let me know about two weeks. I did not hear anything back from him. I called in august to speak to him and he wasn't available and still did not hear anything back. September I called again and spoke to a supervisor and he said he will order it and let me know once it came in. Nothing completely in the dark again. October is here and still nothing when I called to ask if it was ordered and Absolutely No One did anything to help me, give me answers. I have been a Beaver Chevrolet customer since they bought this location. I think they have serviced my last 3 cars. I had an unfriendly noise coming from my drivers side front wheel. What to do? Call for an appointment to have Beaver check it out. I called and got "Romero" on the phone. After a few questions, he agreed that I should bring it in on the day and time I requested. He described the usual process. "See the service advisor; the service tech will evaluate; the service advisor will call..." Yep, sounds like the normal routine, I say. He then let me know that once they diagnose the problem, It would take FIVE TO SEVEN working days to get to the problem while my Tahoe sat on their lot. FIVE TO SEVEN days, I ask? "Yes, that's FIVE TO SEVEN working days, not counting weekends." Hmmm, I utter. "How about a loaner," I ask. "We have them," says he, "but they all are checked out....." I'm thinking he's pulling my leg at this point. He explains further. "you can get your vehicle repairs done at any GM dealership in the nation." I respond, "I thought this was my dealer." (No kidding.) So I hang up the phone in frustration and take my car to MAVIS TIRE. I got two new tires (they came in from 35 miles away) a new bearing and hub to take care of the funky noise and an alignment in under 3.5 hours!!!!!! Probably got a much better price as well. If I could leave zero stars I would. My wife and I purchased a used Chevrolet Silverado from Beaver Chevrolet in August of this year for 16k+. It has been less than 3 months and I have put less than 1k miles on it. I am now finding out that the truck was sold to me with two broken motor mounts. These broken mounts caused cause the transmission to then break and rear seal to rupture. This is going to cost me an additional 7,500.
