But I also noted that he was going to try to get parts we needed to cover some warranty work. If you know about warranty's on RV's, you know it could be a hassle. And if you travel full time moving place to place, you know how time consuming getting an appointment can be... mobile RV techs are always super busy, and how challenging it can be to get the warranty company to approve things. Well Chris had approval within days, parts ordered and he got them yesterday.... Today, he was here and now he is gone! He replaced/upgraded our toilet, bathroom sink and fireplace! He had to do some cabinetry support and frame work for the new and BETTER Furrion Fireplace and it looks amazing! Better than before. So here it is folks... this man has held true to his word. When he tells you he is going to do something, he is going to. If he says he will try... he really will... I can't believe he got the fireplace as fast as he did! He did it all in the time we had and we will be rambling on down the road again on Friday... because Chris is a man of his word. Integrity... doing the right thing when no one will know. He could have just passed on our needs... he solved it. Honest... he didn't play around when it came to his word. Value... we definitely got a huge value out of Chris... the work he did far passes our cost... there was some for things that weren't covered or only partially covered. My local warranty facility told me "there's nothing we can do for that noise" that was annoying me so much I wanted to sell the van. They answered the phone promptly and showed a willingness to help me resolve my issue. It would have been very expensive for them to come out to the RV park and make the necessary repairs. So, instead they offered to walk me through sourcing the problem and making the repairs on the phone which saved me a boat load of money. They even told me where to go and pick-up the new part. We bought a new 5th wheel from Blue Compass in Redmond, OR despite previously having had a terrible experience with Blue Dog RV, and having options much closer to home BECAUSE of the PEOPLE and how we were treated by salesperson Emily Gordon, the Manager, Mike Johnston. It is clear that they love their business and are committed to professionalism and treating their customers right. They answered all our questions and made us a solid offer on the unit that ticked all of our boxes. So much so that we were comfortable enough to put down our deposit over the phone then drive 4 hours to do paperwork and our walk though. Jen helped us with the financing. We enjoyed a fantastic meal at a great Mexican Restaurant (Caramel) recommended by Emily. The next day, Makenzie gave us a very complete tour of our new RV! She is knowledgeable and went above and beyond to give us pointers not found in the owners manual based upon her commitment and experience. It is unfortunate that the name is so similar because they deserve a blue ribbon and 5 gold stars.
