Great find for a quick bite to eat while traveling, especially considering how limited food options can be out in this area. We came in late on a weeknight for dinner and ordered the mini tacos--carnitas, adobada, and asada (listed in order of our favorites). The service is super friendly and our food came fairly quickly. Food is very reasonably priced. We also ordered the chips and guacamole, which I highly recommend since they have a great salsa bar to pair with the chips. Tip: order a side of sour cream, it goes super well with the street tacos and also the spicy green salsa. Overall, definitely stop in if you're looking for a bite to eat! read more

Not like we had much choice, we were traveling late at night, and this was one of the only places open. Even so, they were head and shoulders among similar Mexican restaurants all over Utah county that seem to all taste the same. The food was fresher, less greasy, and tastier. Quick edit - it was Easter Sunday so maybe that was why, but the drive thru was slooooow. Alright - for a drive thru Mexican restaurant in the middle of no where - I will give this restaurant 4 stars. This is due to the fact of its location cause we always seem to need food during this stretch on road trips. Got a shredded beef chimichanga platter. Solid drive through option. Beans weren't great, but can't ask for the world here. Got an order of fries for my kids. It was huge, not super hot, but giant order. Got a side tortilla too and it's a good tortilla. Oh a whim got a churro and horchata. In my opinion the horchata was nasty - wouldn't ever do that again. Churro was okay - was filled with cream just could have used more cinnamon and sugar. Overall - I'm sure we will be back on our next road trip to St. George. read more

The Asada (Steak) burrito was fantastic! I wish I ordered the California Burrito. The steak was flavorful and juicy and had the right feel, bite, oh man. I'm getting hungry again! We spotted here on our road trip from Vegas. It's in a great location, off the freeway and next to a gas station. We ordered some burritos and quesadilla in the drive thru. We were the only ones and it probably took 5 minutes to get our order. I just got a bean and cheese and I really enjoyed it. The bean were really hot (in temperature), I had to wait like 5-10 minutes to eat it. My son got just a plain cheese quesadilla and it was huge! This is a great place to stop for a meal off the I-15 if you're traveling. The food is good, cheap, and fast. It was recommended on yelp... and my fellow Yelpers steered me well in this case. It is quick service and they bring your meal to the table. There is a salsa bar with several different salsas to try. My husband got a breakfast burrito (at noon; apparently they serve them all day) and I got the chimichanga. The tortillas are amazing. The chips were a tad on the salty side. Thought it was a gimmick and a funny enough name. Grabbed street tacos, chicken taco combo plate, taquitos and a Carne asada burrito. Seriously wished I had ordered an extra burrito for the road. Stopped here on the way to Colorado. Right off the highway. Fast, fresh and delicious! Tastes homemade. My chicken tostada was enough for me for dinner and it was only $5.50! Loved it so much that we stopped again on the way back to California. read more

This is a solid place for those traveling the long drive on i15 between SLC, Vegas, LA, etc. I like it much better than any fast food place available nearby -- and their prices are more than fair! Okay walk in Mexican food place. Not real quick but the food is worth a little waiting. Good carne asada and carnitas street tacos, the only disappointment was the salsa was pretty bland. The guy behind the counter warned that red sauce was very hot, so the wife and I tried it and are still waiting for the heat to come on. There must be a joke in this someplace, like the salsa at Beaver's is for folks who think ketchup is spicy. There's a word for it but I can't remember it right now. They are real protective of their closing time, we got there at 7pm and the salsa bar was taken down and they were out of plain iced tea. Chile rellano was spongy and not crispy. Crispy tacos both didn't have much flavor to the meat. Bacon breakfast burrito was dry, needed some salsa in it. We have driven past Beaver Taco a million times coming from California to Utah. I always thought there was no way that it could be good Mexican food. Boy was I wrong!! We finally tried it and it is the best Mexican food I've ever had in Utah and comparable to some of our favorite places in California. The owners are so nice and accommodating, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the restaurant is clean. The chips come out warm with homemade salsa. I highly recommend carne asada anything. Stopped here for dinner during a long road trip. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Better than most Mexican 'fast food' places we have in Arizona. Good size portions, made fresh, and the service was fast. There was one employee running the front and he was very friendly, even though he was busy with multiple customers and orders at the time. Stopped in here on the way back from Las Vegas. Not much in Beaver but this place is definitely worth the stop traveling north or south to/from the Wasatch front. We've been here three or four times. It's always crowded around meal times which is a good sign. It has a very large menu so there's something for everyone. Is this the best Mexican food you've ever had, no, but it is in fast food mode and is exceptional from that perspective. My go to guilty pleasure here is their carne asada fries. They are delicious and the only thing I've ordered the last two times there. They are plenty large enough for a meal or a very adequate side for two or three to munch on. All the other food my family has gotten there has been very good. We've probably tried 10 different things in all and no one has had any complaints. Burritos, tacos, salads all great. The only knock is that it doesn't have an abundance of seating and it does get busy around meal times. That's a good sign but seats are a little hard to come by and getting a seat is a nice thing. read more

Very good during covid-- we appreciated the drive- thru and the staff wearing masks. The food itself was pretty good. We ordered the beef quesadilla, California burrito, and street tacos and the hot sauce was pretty good. Docking stars for no transparency of prices in the drive thru menu (no prices at all- menu prices on Yelp was different than what they charged us) but at least the food was still cheap.
