All the painting materials and form are on the table all set up and there shelves upon shelves of ceramic projects we can choose from. There were so many choices from small plates to big jugs and lots of seasonal and fun things for any occasion. The space is open, bright, and so colorful! It looked like there was a nice space in the back area for bigger parties. Our friend's daughter did a simple small plate ($25!) and my daughter painted a bigger skull plate ($33) and everything has a huge range it just depend on what you want to paint and how much money you want to spend. This is definitely about the experience and spending time doing something fun and relaxing together but I still got a little sticker shock. They also charge $6/kid and $10/adult studio fee. It's a really nice way for me and the kiddo to spend a little time together. The place is on the smaller side, but you don't really notice unless the tables get full. You should pre book a table or you might not get to paint. There is one bathroom at the Tanasbourne location and it's a single stall. The helpers will get paint for you and you can bring drinks in. The ceramics are a bit pricey, but you're paying for the time you spend there, the paint you use and the assistance from the staff, with the purchase of the ceramics piece. So, keep that in mind. I usually take about 10 visits to finish a project, and only have to pay the one time for the piece. I do think there is a $10 sitting fee if you don't buy a new ceramic. Which I feel is fair. I always seem to meet the nicest people there.

The framing professionals there know what they are doing and they are patient in assisting you to look at choices. The cost i have found to be less than half of what i was quoted elsewhere. The turn-around time is two weeks or less. The finished product in every case absolutely met my expectations. The result is that my home is really reflecting my own art and taste.
