I can not recommend Bebe. We had him over to look at a leak that is coming through the walls in our bathroom. He said it was just the caulking so he charged us $1500 to re-caulk part of the showers. 2 months later, the mold is coming through again. He has since refused our phone calls and texts after asking us to send photos of the condition. No reply. Also, he would not provide a receipt of his work and said, 'don't worry, I'll take care of you guys if something is wrong later, ok'... I would be cautious and not book him for job that are beyond fixing a toilet paper holder (which he did well). Ask him for a receipt upfront before he starts work. I wouldn't want anyone to flush the time and money down the toilet. read more

Had a toilet backing up and needed a plumber. Since it was the weekend place place recommended on a here on Yelp they told me it sounded like a sewer problem and to call another guy. So I called the next guy who told me to call Roto Router. Happen to see the name for Bebe Construction so I took a chance and called. Being a rather nervous person, I asked Bebe if he would wear a mask and he said "Of course" He responded very quickly & asked me to send pictures of my broken kitchen faucet. After I did, he researched what would be needed then reported with everything he needed to repair the faucet. I thought he'd have a new faucet but he surprised me by saying "They don't make that one anymore but I'm going to save you some money." Bebe magically created what was needed and within less than an hour I had a happy, shiny faucet. I was pretty happy myself. Running water in the kitchen even meant new ice. When my rental unit below smelled like poop, I knew it was time to call the plumber. The sump pump downstairs had broken down (again). When my regular plumber wasn't available (and in hindsight, I am glad that he wasn't), I turned to Yelp. BEBE to the rescue! I called him at 7 pm and by 8 pm he was over at my house, confirmed that the sump pump had indeed broken, and promised to return early the next morning with parts ready to install. The next morning he came back as promised and was done in about an hour (you read that right)! He showed me how crappy (pun intended) the old sump pump was (previously, I was buying Home Depot versions that only cost like $100 - the one he recommended was way more durable and much stronger and was worth the $550 or so he assured me). He showed me the receipt, charged me less than 50% of what my regular plumber would charge me and my renter could poop in peace once again. I was so impressed with him I called him back today today to fix my dishwasher (which only wasn't draining for the past eight years...sigh). Less than half an hour later, he is done...again, for less than half of what a technician would charge. MERRY CHRISTMAS BEBE! After watching too many DIY shows on HGTV, I figured redoing a small bathroom would be child's play. I quickly realized that I was in over my head. Bebe took over after I had made a mess of the demolition. He worked quickly and the finished product was light years ahead of anything I could have done. Watching him do things correctly showed my just how badly i had underestimated the project. Bebe was the only plumber that answered his phone and came out the same morning to check on our cracked water pipe outside our kitchen. I called 4 others-no help. Bebe had the work completed in 2 days at a very reasonable price. His three workers David and Gorden were personable and Scott explained to us how the problem would be corrected. David even smelled gas from outside our house and alerted us to contact PG&E right away. Our gas was shut off just a few hours. David & Gorden fixed the gas leak and we had hot water by afternoon.
