We had the distinct pleasure of being assisted by Frandy during our test drive experience, and his professionalism and customer-centric approach truly made a lasting impression. From the moment we engaged with him, Frandy was remarkably accommodating and genuinely welcoming. He patiently guided us through every aspect of the vehicle we were considering, demonstrating an impressive depth of knowledge. He meticulously detailed the car's features. We particularly appreciated how he tailored his explanations to our specific needs and concerns. What truly set Frandy apart was his refreshing sales style - devoid of any high-pressure tactics. Instead, he adopted a consultative approach, prioritizing our satisfaction and helping us identify the vehicle that was the perfect match for our lifestyle and family requirements. It was clear that his primary goal was to ensure we made a well-informed decision. Randy is an asset to your organization.

When I asked the manager if there were any 2022-2025 Honda Pilots available for a test drive, he told me none were available. I then asked for a business card, and he claimed he had run out, even though I could clearly see a stack of cards on his desk. He asked me to leave my name and number and said he would call when a vehicle became available, but I never received a call. (500 Yonkers Ave location) The experience left me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a customer. I eventually went to New Jersey and purchased a 2024 Toyota Highlander instead, where the dealership treated me with professionalism, respect, and hospitality.

Guess what - sales rep only pushes people who think they had a good experience to post google review. Also, their compensation is tied to google reviews, and the rep is doing whatever is the culture of the business. I was subject to classic bait and switch, besides numerous other questionable tactics (hold your credit card anyone). Only reason I am rating this business as two stars is that when confronted with solid documentation, they agreed to make some amends. It did take approx 5 months to get closure. There service center was worse. Service tech told me I needed an engine flush for a 2011 camry at 50K mi servicing. Charged me over a $100 extra. When I got home, found out that was not required. Called service center, and they told me it was needed for cars driven in 'tough' conditions. Well, agent never asked me how I drove my car, or whether I towed anything. More importantly, even the tough-conditions service requirements dont require the flush. Needless to say - not going back.

Avoid Westchester Toyota at all costs!…read more We put down a $1,000 deposit on May 25 for a Grand Highlander Hybrid, with salesman Armando. Our signed agreement stated that if they couldn't provide the vehicle within 3 months, our deposit would be refunded. 3 months passed with no car, so we requested our refund on August 25. Since then, we've spent weeks chasing them for our money. We've called repeatedly, been put on hold, left messages, and asked to speak with finance, management, or anyone who could help. No one calls us back. As I write this, I've been on hold for 32 min while they supposedly "try to find a manager." My husband is driving over now because they can't ghost us in person. Meanwhile, we bought the same vehicle from another Toyota dealership in less than a week. So vehicle availability isn't the issue. The issue is that Westchester Toyota agreed in writing to return our deposit and has made getting our own money back unbelievably difficult. We've now filed a complaint with the BBB. I would not buy a vehicle here and would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

I'm at a loss and could really use people's support. I want to share my story so others are aware…read moreand, hopefully, to find some relief from this overwhelming situation. On February 7th, 2026, I purchased a used 2024 KIA FORTE GT from Yonkers Auto Gallery. The car had only 19,000 miles on it, and I thought I was making a smart choice for my family. Unfortunately, just a week later, the car broke down on Route 9 and had to be towed because it wouldn't go more than 10 miles an hour. The check engine light came on, and it was diagnosed with a gas pedal malfunction. When Dutchess KIA did a deeper diagnostic, they found the car flooded when it rained, chewed wires throughout, and even dead mice inside. The wire harness and all the wiring need to be replaced, and the computer system shorted out twice. On top of this, I recently lost my parents and have taken on the responsibility of their home and everything that comes with it. The emotional and financial weight of managing their estate while dealing with this car nightmare has been almost too much to bear. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I've contacted the BBB, attorney general's office, DMV, and lemon law lawyers, but I'm still waiting for answers. This situation has already cost us thousands of dollars, and we're struggling to keep up. I've missed important calls about this matter because of my work schedule, and my husband lost work because we had no car. We even had to take out another loan just so he could start working again. In the meantime, I lost my job as a preschool teacher of 23 years due to the mental and emotional stress this has caused. Saying goodbye to my second home and dealing with the loss of my parents has made things even harder. Knowing that a dealership can get away with something like this is heartbreaking.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE…read more Let me share my experience with Yonkers Kia. I purchased a used car from them, and it only came with one key. When I asked about the second key, I was told they didn't have it. Instead, they issued me a "We Owe" agreement, stating that I would need to purchase and program a new key myself, and they would reimburse me. I followed their instructions. In December, I submitted the invoice for reimbursement--and I am still waiting to be paid. Since then, I've had to call multiple times, re-submit the same paperwork more than once, and constantly follow up. Each time I reach out, I'm treated dismissively, like I'm the one causing the issue. I never receive callbacks, and the process has been unnecessarily difficult. They owe me over $700. At this point, it's not just about the money--it's about how poorly this has been handled. Because of this experience, they've lost me as a customer, and I would not recommend them to anyone. My next steps are to file complaints with Westchester Consumer Protection, Kia Corporate, and to share my experience publicly so others are aware. All of this... over $700. What a shame.

Summary / TLDR: I was anxious buying a used car not CPO but the experience was smooth. Would…read morerecommend Daniel Auto to friends & family. Started my car search two weeks ago with two constraints that made it very stressful. I was looking for an Acura MDX hybrid (very low inventory out there) and a tight timeline to get it done before the end of the year. Made a spreadsheet of every MDX hybrid I could find online and there were less than half a dozen within reasonable driving distance (200 miles) of NYC. Based on this info I started engaging with Daniel Auto since they were number one on the list based on price/value and color but they were up against an Acura dealership in RI that offered certified pre-owned and two other strong value options. I had never purchased a used car not certified pre-owned by the car manufacturer so had a little anxiety not going with Acura CPO. Communication online / via text was easy and I made an appointment for a test drive. A little surprised at the small office and packed lot when I showed up... I've always only been to higher end brand dealerships who spend a lot on the visual experience. The office (and bathroom) was clean and organized, and when I thought about it, I much prefer that they save money on unnecessary frills, especially if they're offering solid/good pricing. The test drive was fine; John was very pleasant and left me alone to inspect the car afterwards. The price was the price, no hidden fees and no nonsense that I've experienced from some dealerships to push you towards financing to show you a lower monthly while raising the price or adding fees. I settled with Daniel on a price; don't expect there to be much movement if any. Having done online research before, the pricing was solid/fair. They had financing available, but I decided to pay cash. A little bit anxious as I'd never done a cash purchase before but everything went smoothly: Put a small deposit down using a debit card, signed a bill of sale, went home and wired the rest of the money, came back in a few days with my wife to pick up the car. Yesterday, I took it to my long time Acura dealership I've used for many years on my previous non-hybrid MDX. Needed to correct a fuel pump safety recall and had them inspect everything, with special focus on suspension and transmission. Everything came back clean, including alignment and little things like cabin air filters. Feeling pretty good about both the hybrid MDX and purchasing it from Daniel Auto. Oh, and I got confused about wheel locks (this car didn't have any) earlier in the week and they (both Ron & Daniel) were just as fast responding on text and calling post sale as pre sale. I would shop with them again and recommend to friends & family.

Unfortunately, I'm not happy with my experience or purchase from this dealership…read more We were told the vehicle was up to date on maintenance, but after the purchase, we discovered issues and codes that raised serious concerns. When I brought these issues to Ron's attention, instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he became defensive and crabby. We were also pressured into finalizing a sale on a vehicle we originally did not want. I especially didn't appreciate Ron making jokes about me not knowing much about cars. Comments like that make me question whether customers who aren't knowledgeable about vehicles are being treated differently or taken advantage of. Communication and follow-through were also poor throughout the process. I was pressured to leave a review, only for that review to later be taken down, which made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, I left feeling pressured, unheard, and disappointed with both the purchase and the customer service. I expected better communication, transparency, and professionalism.

That's not just bad business, that's deliberate deception. It's borderline fraud. Alberto's sales tactics were laughable--amateurish, manipulative, and clearly targeting anyone he thought he could fool. Unfortunately for him, I'm a grown woman, a mother, and someone who's seen enough of life to spot a con-artist from a mile away. I wasn't born yesterday, and I definitely don't fall for high-mileage lies dressed up in cheap cologne. His explanations for the numbers on the car were ridiculously absurd, it made no sense at all, I felt like talking to a 4 years old toddler trying to explain physics to me, the little guy was shaking as he was desperately trying to convince me to accept his scam. To make matters worse, there was a man outside the entrance screaming and spitting, smoking like a chimney, acting recklessly with weird manners, ticking, and wearing a horrible outfit making the entire environment feel unsafe and unprofessional. This is supposed to be a place of business, not a circus sideshow. The dealership may have decent-looking cars, but it's staffed with reckless individuals who operate with no accountability. This Alberto guy is a walking Joke! Tried to push me a broken vehicle, put me in financial trouble and probably scammed a lot of people before me If you're thinking of buying from them, document everything. Bring a witness. Record your interactions if necessary. If someone knowingly tries to sell you a car with concealed mechanical issues, that's not just unethical--it's grounds for legal action under consumer protection laws. The second visit I come back with my boyfriend and I was supposed to come in to just test drive car MIND YOU only to test drive NOT PURCHASE. However . The first thing we do when we get there is sit down and talk about being approved and needing a co-signer because I'm young with good credit and after doing my research myself I didn't need one to my knowledge he expressed to me it was only to lower my loan AND ON TOP OF THAT he was pushy with needing a down payment of 3000. He said that it was required then tried to say that I could co-sign with my boyfriend. Also keep in mind the first time I went he said it was up to me how much I want to put down on the car. As far to my knowledge there's this thing called the Truth Lending Act. ..", the Act requires creditors who deal with consumers to make certain written disclosures concerning finance charges and related aspects of credit transactions (including disclosing an annual percentage rate) and comply with other mandates" "The reg states that no advertisement to aid, promote, or assist directly or indirectly any extension of consumer credit may state that a specified down payment, by the creditor who advertises his services." Anyways , I'll just leave this here , won't be returning go at your own risk. Just do as much research as you can so you don't fall into any of their tricks oh and I never even got to test drive the car.
