If it were possible to give a negative star I would do that for the simple fact that the owners are criminals. I stayed for a month (see review below) for $640 on a credit card. When that time was up I stayed 3 more days (because I found a job in Palm Desert) and settled for $150 cash. But since they had my cc # they went and charged it for the same amount the very next day. I called the office when I learned of this and Tawny said, "I didnt know you paid Chuck cash. I'll find the receipt and credit your account." But that didnt happen until I files a dispute form with my cc company an they were forced to return it. So for your own sake, if you have no other choice but to stay, DO NOT use a credit card here. Beckley Motel Review I usually have good luck, but not this time. I got a bad room and white trash neighbors that made my month long stay a living Hell. Review: No ice machine, no phones or clock-radios in rooms, shower head only 5' high, toilet doesnt flush completely, water out of sink so cloudy you cant see your hand through the glass, no ice machine, stained cushions, sheets and comforters, small CRT TV with broken DVD player, busy loud highway that can be heard easily thru single pane windows, no ice machine, thin walls, little to no WiFi depending on your room and on some days not available at all, odor from bathroom being used next door, LOUD water pipes (toilet/shower can wake you), no maid service, pool was ice cold, no tower for AT&T devices, no ice machine. Trash neighbors: slept all day and drank cheap boxed wine all night; vicious loud arguements; loud TV and radio, slamming doors--till 3 AM some nights. Yes, I actually called the police one night and they made the guy leave and get a room at another motel. My request for a room change was denied. Their rationale: "Its a motel. You get strange people. Thats how it is." Talk about unaccommodating! Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but here.

The bats were very comfortable. I slept so well., my room had a mini kitchen and also a sofa, coffee table, and and a desk. My room had a view of the mountain, which was lovely at sunrise & sunset. They had a pool I never used, they also had a laundry service, but I never used it. The hotel is between residence home but far enough from them that you don't really see anybody. They have the free breakfast in the morning a coffee station. Plenty of parking

The people working the front desk seemed bothered by my presence, and unwilling to help. There was zero customer service and I feel like every person we saw over the weekend had terrible attitude. I ended up having to book another king room that day because they were fully booked of the 2 queen rooms. Hotels.com reach out to them multiple times to try to get it refunded but they continued to ignore them and did not care to resolute. The hotel stay was bad. It was so incredibly noisy due to kids staying here for a local basketball tournament. At 3 am there were kids running up and down the halls banging on doors and laughing. We saw and smelled kids smoking weed by the pool. The hotel staff did nothing to try to control the situation. The free breakfast was awful. The eggs were the fake stuff and the meat was very fatty. They only had yoplait yogurt with the 3 grams of protein. There were no boiled eggs or anything of substance. Parking was $10 but not sure they actually check if you have parking tag. Overall I think the hotel did a terrible job managing a fully booked weekend and I would never stay here again.

We stayed one Saturday night after attending the Jeff Lynne's ELO Over & Out concert at the Acrisure Arena. What I really like about this Best Western Plus location, was how it was conveniently located to many restaurants, fast food chains, shopping, the Acrisure Arena, all within a 5 mile radius. This BW+ appears to newly built. Parking was adequate and there appears to be a third party security officer monitoring the parking areas at night (we parked next to him by accident). The staff both when we arrived and when we departed, were very pleasant and professional; checking in and out was uneventful. Our rooms clean, spacious as far as a room with a king sized bed is concerned. The room also had a small refrigerator, a small microwave, Keurig machine with a few K-Pods (reg and decaff), iron and ironing board. Our bathroom was clean and had body wash, shampoo and conditioner inside the walk in shower. Every morning they offer a free breakfast. Our Sunday morning offerings were juices (Apple, OJ, Guava & Orange), milk, coffee, hot chocolate. There's a coffee machine in the lobby available 24/7 for coffee, decaf, hot chocolate, espressos, lattes, etc. In addition, they offered Belgian waffles you make yourself, scrambled eggs, pork sausages, toast, bagels, cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt. Staying at a BW+ allowed us the opportunity to try one of these, and we will definitely consider staying at this BW option more often in the future.

'Ello Chaps, A…read morepromising first impression, a comfortable stay... but a rather lengthy to-do list stands between this property and the resort it could be. When comparing hotels around Palm Springs, we were drawn to this property by the photos. Sparkling pools, lush golf course views, palm trees swaying in the desert breeze, it certainly looks the part online. And, to be fair, the first impression doesn't disappoint. The lobby is bright, modern, and welcoming. You arrive thinking you've found a hidden gem. Then you walk past the lobby. That's where reality begins to set in. The guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We appreciated the housekeeping staff, who were consistently friendly and visible throughout our stay. That said, I wouldn't recommend paying extra for upgraded room categories. The patios, while generously sized, are furnished with weathered, worn, and in some cases broken furniture. Overall, the rooms are beginning to show their age and are approaching the point where renovations will be needed. The same can be said for the pool area. The water itself is crystal clear and inviting, but much of the surrounding deck furniture is faded, dirty, and in places damaged. The hot tubs could certainly use a thorough cleaning, and the tile around the pool has accumulated years of grime that gives the impression routine deep cleaning has been overlooked. None of these are major structural issues, a good pressure washing, fresh paint, and regular maintenance would dramatically improve the experience. The cabanas are another disappointment. At well over $300 on many days, they're priced like a luxury resort experience but come with very little to justify the cost. Not even bottled water is included, which feels rather stingy when compared with many nearby resorts that provide at least a few basic amenities. Adding to that, the pool can become quite crowded with day visitors using ResortPass, making it feel less exclusive for hotel guests. One point worth mentioning is the golf course. While "Golf Resort" is proudly displayed in the hotel's name, the course itself is actually operated by a separate company. It's scenic and well worth a visit if you play, but it isn't directly integrated into the hotel experience. You'll need to leave the hotel property and walk down the block to reach the clubhouse. Now for the positives, because there are a few. Despite the daily resort fee, complimentary self-parking is genuinely appreciated. No expensive valet. No confusing parking gates. Just park your car and get on with your holiday. Chris, the General Operations Manager, deserves special recognition. He was visible throughout the property, approachable, and clearly engaged with guests. That's something you rarely see these days and speaks well of the hotel's day-to-day leadership. The staff across the board were friendly, professional, and easy to find whenever assistance was needed. Yes, they're diligent about enforcing the pool rules, but always in a courteous and respectful manner. So, would I stay here again? For a long weekend, absolutely. For a week-long resort holiday, I'd probably explore some of the newer or recently renovated properties nearby if your goal is that polished luxury resort experience. This hotel has good bones. The location is convenient, the grounds are attractive, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff genuinely care. What's holding it back isn't poor service, it's deferred maintenance. With some investment in renovations, fresh furnishings, deep cleaning, and general upkeep, this could easily become one of the better resort properties in the area. Overall, I'd give DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs 3 out of 5 stars. Comfortable? Yes. Friendly? Absolutely. Ready to be the premier desert resort its photos promise? Not quite... but it certainly has the potential.

Juan at the front desk gave us fresh chocolate chip cookies at check in & a bag of cookies with no nuts for me I must say, the room was spacious! The bath room has double sinks & that's always a bonus when traveling with a partner. Pull the line in the shower to hang your swim suit out for tomorrow . Beware the toilet is small, meaning very low. Didn't bother me but it was worth mentioning. The balcony view was spectacular. Got to spend time with snacks out there. We did eventually make it to the pool. Plenty of chairs for lounging & music made the afternoon lovely. Just what we needed. Hotel bar is open from 11 AM to 11 PM. Andrew and Carlos were attending bar this particular evening. The property is in a convenient location close to food options--though you will likely need a car to get around to restaurants and attractions. We stayed in a parking lot-facing room and found the noise to be very minimal. There was occasional hallway noise, but it really didn't impact our stay. The room itself was well stocked with towels and toiletries, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It also had a fridge that kept our water bottles nice and cold overnight, plus a microwave that we didn't end up using. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options--potatoes, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, and cut fruit. The waffle maker was a fun touch. They also had juices, coffee, and tea, and overall the breakfast spread was well stocked and we were very pleased with the quality and variety. Overall, this was a comfortable, clean, and easy stay with good amenities and solid value for the area--we would stay here again when visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay and not hesitate being here again and will also recommend this property to family and friends. The hotel in general has a nice and welcoming feel. The 2 queen beds in room 326 need to be replaced. They're old, too soft & mushy and dip down like a sponge. The linens and pillows tho are great. The AC in room works well but it is too loud even on the lowest setting. But when it's 108 degrees outside... Bathroom has great lighting but needs a dimmer switch. Thankfully there's a sensor night-lite that helps. Nice big Samsung flatscreen smart tv with a very impressive channel lineup. There's also apps for Netflix, HBO Max, Apple+ so you can log into your account. Sandra, Dawn, and Alexandra at the front desk are wonderful and helpful. When I initially called and spoke with Sarah to inquire about availability, I asked if they offer "local discounts" and appreciate the savings offered. The girl working at the breakfast buffet (didn't get her name) was very kind and helpful. Housekeeping is friendly. The gym tho small is nice & clean and contains very good and top of the line equipment. A Peloton bike too. No one likes being displaced due to power outages, but we embraced the situation with Hilton Honors.

We checked in late on Friday night at 9:45pm and the automatic doors were already locked, despite a sign saying they are locked at 10pm. Not really a big deal (just noteworthy) since the front desk quickly buzzed us in after ringing the bell. Check-in was efficient, albeit a bit cold. I wouldn't say it wasn't welcoming, but it certainly was goal oriented. Room keys, parking pass, wifi code. All that. Our room was nicely appointed- king bed, kitchenette, flatware, silverware, etc. If you wanted to cook a small meal, you easily could. Walls are a bit on the thinner side, but the fan from the a/c provided enough white noise so we were able to sleep. Their breakfast buffet runs from 7:30-10:30am. People were very covid conscious and kept their distance. Plenty of eating areas to chose from- outside by the pool, inside dining area, or even your room. So, the pros of this place- short version: Location (super quiet and tucked away in a suburban area) Mountain views from the room Well appointed room Firepits Plenty of parking Now the cons: No hot tub (for as nice as their outdoor area is, not having a hot tub would be a reason to explore other lodging options in Cathedral City) Later check out was a whole 30 minutes later than the original checkout time. Housekeeping didn't know we had a late checkout and knocked on our door at 11:25am. Not really a big deal but I wish there was better communication with between staff members. Four stars

Even though I saw a few posts indicating this place needed some upgrading, we still decided to check this place out. For the most part, it was ok. We stayed for one night, since we really just wanted a day away from home. Upon 'inspecting' our room when we got there, we immediately saw two baby...bugs..? by each a/c. Not dead, but pretty close to it..since their legs were still twitching. I gave it the benefit of the doubt since maybe...it was by the curtain and maybe the cleaning crew just missed it. But then there were also little crumbs by the couch. And a toddler's sock by the curtain in the room. Which leads me to think...okay, what exactly was cleaned in here when the last guests checked out? I soon didn't regret that we only planned to stay a night because I wasn't sure what else I'd find. Heck, it started to get to me that maybe the sheets weren't changed and were just fluffed up for the next guests (aka us). Should you stay here for your next visit? Hmm, up to you. However I'd keep my review in mind if you DO decided to stay. My findings were pretty miniscule, but that doesn't mean your findings would be.

I was a little scared when I read that most of the recent reviews were negative. I was thinking "oh no! What did I get us into." This place is a blast from the past. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.

NO RENOVATIONS we're ever done! This place use to be a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and stay at a Motel 6. At least it's updated and clean. Not to mention about 1/3 of the price.
