Picked up burgers, truffle fries, and lemonade for dinner and it did not disappoint. Becks Prime serves the best burgers. The worst part about Becks is trying to decide between a burger, steak sandwich, potato, steak, or salad. Becks always hits the spot. Kirby location.

Yall. When I say I woke up thinking about the cheeseburger I had- I mean it! This is by far the best burger I've had in a while. The service was great as well as the ambience. We will definitely be back this weekend!

Days and days of an unexpected hurrica-tion. So grateful to be able to grab an early dinner at Beck's Prime on Kirby. Love this cute little location. Too bad it was hot and humid post-Hurricane Beryl. The wood picnic tables under the live oak trees are so cute. Nice to sit outside in the fall or spring. They have a very busy drive through, but we took advantage of the air conditioning and a birthday BOGO coupon for an early dinner before a Sweet to be Elite Ice Cream Week at Jeni's. Love their Queen of Hearts Salad. This is my go to dinner. Artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, green olives, bell peppers and hard boiled eggs. Add seared tuna. So good. Used the BOGO to get a mushroom burger and an Ahi Tuna Sandwich. Added extra veggies to the ahi tuna sandwich which already includes feta cheese, cucumbers, red onions and tomatoes with an Asian sesame-ginger spread. Get the Parmesan truffle fries. Delish. Sign up for their rewards program. Nice to get messages about specials and a Buy One Get One (BOGO) rewards coupon for a birthday celebration.

Got the Bills burger and fries, this meal was solid, the burger was top notch and very juicy I just wish they seasoned the meat a bit, just a little salt and pepper would've cranked it up to an ascended master level. Meat ground fresh daily, potatoes cut fresh daily, friendly workers and a very nice patio! I'd definitely come back.

When I think of Becks Prime it's usually about their very good hamburgers and fries. They are one of the better ones in Houston from this small local chain restaurant. Recently I decided to try something else on the menu and ordered Roberts Chicken and Veggies entree for $14.25. Speaking of the menu, it also offers $50 steak dinners from this counter service restaurant. Quite unusual! The food took almost 15 minutes before it was ready for my dinner. It had a nice sized piece of boneless grilled chicken along with plenty of veggies including tomatoes, broccoli, red onion, squash, cucumber and mushrooms all mesquite grilled too. This was a deliciously flavored meal that was also healthy and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. This location is conveniently located on Kirby and does have limited parking for dine in customers along with a drive thru for to go orders. Becks serves quality food.

If they had an atmosphere and a wine list it would be 5* and top 10 in Houston. Burger is sublime

The location itself was super cute--very Southern charm tucked into the middle of such an urban city. He also mentioned his family had a store on Canal Street. I had no idea. An exceptional person, a legend in the restaurant industry here in Houston, Texas. It was great to meet you today Johnny. The service was 10/10, food was amaaaazing. We looked at other reviews before going and went with an app we didn't hear much about, but an entree that we did hear amazing things about. Appetizer: everyone talks about the dilly bread but honestly, the puff puff pass sounded better, esp the scotch bonnet aioli. 10/10 loved the flavors together, esp the fried bread with the aioli Entrees: we had the pork belly special and the nono's pasta. Everyone raves about the pasta and rightfully so. The noodles with the right amount of bolognese was such a flavorful comfort food. The pork belly was also delicious but the pasta hit better. Dessert: of course i had to get both! We got the famous olive oil cake and their banana rum cheesecake. We didnt taste much banana unfortunately but the cheesecake was tasty. I could eat the butter by the pint. The fingerlinging potato dish is also a must have...pretty small for $19 but tastes like heaven. Spicy! Zaddy was being a bit of a clutz that evening and knocked over my $20 mezcal cocktail, so what does he do? Orders me another one! (That's why he's "zaddy") ....kind of wish he hadn't...so wasn't worth the price tag. Skip it. The chicken dinner was definitely the winner--fresh, juicy breast, crispy skin...don't be cute, you won't finish it unless your party has at least 4 in it! The flies were ruthless! Very annoying! They were acting like the geekers that come bother you just outside your favorite fried chicken joint in south Dallas! Our waitress brought out a table fan so that made the experience a little more tolerable. The chocolate peanut butter pie tasted like a salt rock and the lemon chiffon pie had great flavor but not lemony enough for me. All in all this place is a bit pricey but truly a gem! The team behind the popular restaurant Nobie's opened up this tiki inspired restaurant. Tiki bars happen to be one of my favorite varieties of bars so I was more than excited to finally check it off my list. I had recently seen them on the Food Network as well. They share a lot with another popular dining spot so parking can be a little difficult in their lot. You can find street parking or park across the street in an overflow lot. Customer service was great from start to finish. We had just ate next door and our intentions were to come in here just for cocktails, but I couldn't leave without trying some of the popular items. I wanted the most tropical drink I could find on the menu so I started off with the Blue Hawaiian. I saw fire on the description so my extra self needed to have it. I'm a big rum guy so this drink was right up my alley and very boozy with two types of rum. It was very coconut forward with pineapple being the secondary flavor. One was enough for me to feel just right. Since we had just ate, we decided to share the World Famous Cheeseburger. This was a great burger. I don't know if they were going for the smash effect, but it had smash burger characteristics. It had all my favorite things that are musts on a burger like American cheese and red onions. It also had a very nice chili aioli that added great flavor to the burger. I came on another stop for a drink visit shortly after and tried the pork dumplings and popcorn chicken. These were also very good. If I lived in the area, this place would easily be a place I would frequent often. I will most definitely be back!

We had an amazing server, delicious drinks (a must try), and ok food. We ordered four drinks the painkilla, vamos à la playa, captains grog, and the Hemingway daiquiri. All were great drinks and we loved how they give you flavor characteristics of the drinks on the menu. The appetizers that we ordered were the sweet and sour cauliflower and the pork dumplings, which is why I gave this place four stars. The presentation of both appetizers were excellent. However, the pork dumplings were disappointing. They came with only six dumplings for $17, were served cold, and are very bland. In my opinion, they weren't worth the price. On the other hand, the sweet and sour cauliflower was our favorite and is definitely a must-try.

I got the Bacon covered Dates, the Pizza, and the Sticky Toffee Cake. The Brussels were good - husband liked them more than me. They were good. Had cashews in them. Little spicy. The bacon covered dates. Think this was my favorite bite. Sweet, salty, creamy. Came we three & I had two. The pizza was sweet and salty as well. The crust was so good and fresh. The arugula set it off so well. Def a buy again! The Steak Frites was so good. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. Just the right mount of citrus. Steak was tender and the fries seasoned well. For my entrée, I ordered the pesto bucatini. If I'm being honest, the food just didn't do it for me. The calamari was simply fried with no noticeable seasoning or standout dipping sauce. The pesto bucatini was pretty underwhelming too. It was very heavy on the mint with just a hint of pistachio crumbs, and the pesto flavor I was hoping for never really came through. Pesto pasta is usually one of my favorite dishes, but this one honestly felt like a waste of carbs. The positives were definitely the service and the atmosphere.
