About 15 -20 minutes for our Burgers. Although we passed, we had time for a beer given draft selection looked enticing. They cook their Burgers medium well although our kind hostess offered to put in my request for medium. We ordered a Brazilian Wagyu (June special) and it came out medium-Yes! Wagyu beef was tasty. I asked for the Chimichurri on the side but unfortunately it wasn't in the bag when we got home. Also ordered the Wagyu Smash and Classic Cheeseburger which were enjoyed. For sides, Parmesan Truffle Fries were solid and the crispy Parmesan Truffle Brussel Leaves stole the show. A different take on Brussels and was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. I remember visiting one in Chicago and turns out they have locations throughout the US. Solid Burgers-don't miss the Crispy Brussel Leaves

I walked in on a Friday around 5:30PM, you order at the register and pick a table to sit down. The restaurant was busy but the food came fast! It's an energetic restaurant but not too loud! I got the doddy melt and I'm not a fan. First impression is was sitting in a layer of grease. Biting into it the sauce didn't shine and the patty was a bit salty. A star off for the grease and saltiness. The hand cut fries and sweet potato fries are great! My friends got the Nashville hot chicken and classic burger which were both a hit!

So I'm standing in the heat watching this hamburger bouncer at the front giving people access when it's their turn, starting to prepare myself for just another overhyped place. But I was wrong, this restaurant is amazing. The hamburger bouncer was one of the nicest people, and made great recommendations for me and my group. The service ended up being so fantastic from the counter and the staff. As to the recommendations. The chopped and screwed fries were perfect, the bodega sauce and the aioli were amazing, the milkshakes were classic. The burgers were absolutely delicious. This is the epitome of a smash burger. For my money, it doesn't get much better.

I liked my triple smash burger, but the grill char & crunchy ends of the burgers were dry. You can kinda see it in my photo. So my first several bites were a bit sad. Once I got to the sauces on the bun it was better! I loved the screwed fries. Super delicious. I feel like it's hard to keep fries both crispy and saucy - but they did an awesome job!! Note - they don't take cash. And I thought it was a little expensive & expected my burger to be better. But I'm giving it a 4 due to the ambiance and the delicious screwed fries.

Staff are nice and friendly, they bring the food to you whether you're eating there or taking it to go with number tents. Plenty of TV's to watch various sports, plenty of outdoor seating and fans for those hot, humid summer days of Houston. Parking can be tough so be prepared to park somewhere else and walk if needed/necessary. Be prepared to sit outside if your group doesn't mind cause there is little to no inside/Air conditioned seating. If you are looking for the same vibe but with indoor seating, I recommend visiting some of their other locations around town. Things to try: classic burger, cheeseburger bowl, french fries.

I'm not sure if it was the seasoning or spices they use, but something just didn't taste right to me. Ended up only eating half the burger. Overall, it just wasn't my favorite and probably not a place I'd go back to. On the positive side, the service was good and the ambience is cool. They have a covered outdoor patio seating area that gives it a nice vibe. The downside is if the wind blows a certain direction, you catch a pretty strong garbage smell from the nearby dumpsters. Not really their fault -- the location is just a bit awkward. Parking is also pretty tight.

After eating dinner on Saturday elsewhere, my boyfriend and I decided to maximize on our eating during our short trip in Houston together and go eat more food. The line was a bit longer than we expected when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. We ordered one OG Burger, one OG Burger Combo, and the Blue Wave Lemonade. The combo meal comes with fries, which we shared. The fries were great. They were hot and crispy. The burger itself was good. I was satisfied with it and definitely felt full after eating everything, given I had eaten less than an hour beforehand. The parking lot is quite small, but we were able to snag a parking spot. The inside is very spacious. There are tables suited for large and small parties, too. It's clean and very lively inside.

I was extremely excited to give this place a shot and, after failing to try it about a month ago…read moredue to them being out of falafel patties, I finally got to try it this past weekend and honestly I was very much underwhelmed (I even called before going to make sure they hadn't run out of falafel patties this time). To start off with a positive, I thought the falafel patty had a really great taste and was absolutely the highlight of the burger. But outside of that the burger and the toppings I ordered just didn't work as well as I would've liked. I ordered my burger with mushrooms and sauteed onions, both toppings I know I absolutely love from making burgers at home and from other spots, but neither added much. At first I was worried that the falafel was overpowering them both but upon eating them by themselves they just lacked taste. We also got the scallion aioli on the burger and I never got a hint of it at any point. All in all, the burger was very much mediocre outside of the patty. We also got fries with the burger and while they absolutely had some potential they were extremely over seasoned. Any appreciation for the seasonings in a vacuum was immediately overshadowed by how salty they were. We also ordered the Sambal Mayo as a dipping sauce and while it did help subdue the insane salt level and overall tasted quite good, upon writing this review I found out by looking at their online menu that it contained some amount of shrimp. This information is nowhere to be seen on the ordering slip and wasn't mentioned when I handed it over to the person working at the cash register. And while I definitely accept some level of responsibility for not doing my due diligence and asking or letting them know of my dietary restrictions, it's still an extremely frustrating thing to have happen as both a vegetarian and someone with a mild shellfish allergy. If for whatever reason the online menu is out of date or I missed an obvious indication of it containing shrimp somewhere I am more than happy to edit my review.

Wow! Just... wow…read more Loved this place from the moment I walked in! Ambiance was super fun and welcoming. The tubs of ice filled with cold drinks all around as you approach the counter was casual and fun. And the staff was welcoming and friendly. The menu had so much variety, without being overwhelming. Anything from a good pazole, to a brisket Rueben, to an American Italian sandwich! I got the báhn mì sandwich, which was bursting with flavor! The pork was seasoned well and had good flavor from the marinade. The cilantro, pickled onions, jalapeno, all were so fresh and vibrant! And I was able to get homemade chips and fresh strawberries as my side - such a refreshing bite the strawberries after a rich, porky, spicy bite from the sandwich. Can't say enough good! Loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat!

A big part of the decades long success at Local Foods has been their commitment to consistency…read more Their casual setting with excellent service is one thing, but quality executed food that is simple and seasonal will always go a long way. Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.
