Awesome burgers and food! Came here after volunteering at the ballpark with a friend and we had a great time. Staff are nice and friendly, they bring the food to you whether you're eating there or taking it to go with number tents. Plenty of TV's to watch various sports, plenty of outdoor seating and fans for those hot, humid summer days of Houston. Parking can be tough so be prepared to park somewhere else and walk if needed/necessary. Be prepared to sit outside if your group doesn't mind cause there is little to no inside/Air conditioned seating. If you are looking for the same vibe but with indoor seating, I recommend visiting some of their other locations around town. Tried Burger Joint in Houston recently. The burger itself was cooked perfectly, but there was a weird flavor to it that honestly threw me off. I'm not sure if it was the seasoning or spices they use, but something just didn't taste right to me. Ended up only eating half the burger. Overall, it just wasn't my favorite and probably not a place I'd go back to. On the positive side, the service was good and the ambience is cool. They have a covered outdoor patio seating area that gives it a nice vibe. The downside is if the wind blows a certain direction, you catch a pretty strong garbage smell from the nearby dumpsters. After a night of dancing, a friend and I decided to grab some food at the Burger Joint! The best thing about this place, is that it stays open till 4a, which is nice! The restaurant has an inside seating area and a huge outside seating area with fans...nice for the hot weather. They have a plethora of different burgers and fries to choose from, and I decided to order the Classic Burger with hand cut fries. It was about a ten minute wait, but the burger came out fresh and the fries were hot! I would definitely recommend for a late night meal after dancing! read more

That being said, I use the app to order delivery from this location more often than I actually go in. 2 out of 3 times that I've ordered a kid's meal (and paid to upgrade the kid's drink to a milkshake), it's been completely left out of the delivery order. When you call, they're apologetic and quick to offer a gift card for the trouble, but I'd much rather they just implement a process of checking orders for accuracy before they bag it up and hand it over to delivery drivers. read more

The restaurant was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for you to enjoy your meal with a small group and large. Plenty of TVs on the wall to catch whatever sport you want to watch. The service is strange. Maybe we got a worker who was at the end of their shift and was just irritated. Which happens we are all human but being out of town people not native to HTX was a bit disheartening. Then also once we received the food. I had something grand in my mint. It was not that. The burger taste like something we could recreate from home. We just were expecting something diff. So if you do come check it out for yourself and see if it suits you. I've been coming here for a while now. It's a nice outdoor spot where you can bring your dogs, which is pretty cool. They'll even provide little bowels of water for them. The food? A little pricey but still hits. The burgers are huge so what you paid for is worth the price. It's really good and they have many burger/ menu options. A cool burger spot with a lot of outdoor seating. The service is great and everyone is really friendly and helpful. I haven't been here for more than a week and have been here twice. There is some parking in front of the restaurant and in the parking garage around the corner. They have a lot of fans for when it gets hot and a good shake selection. There isn't much to say about this place. I love the location. The Burger Joint is located in a cool side of town and seems to be a really cool hang be it with friend, loved ones, or just to take it the views or watch a game by yourself. As far as the food is concerned, I had a BBQ burger, and while it was stacked tall, I only managed to eat half of it, like a good boy . Had a side of Queso fries and they were MEH. The food was good, I wasn't blown away though. I might come back to try a shake. read more

Burger Joint is a solid burger spot, nothing crazy but fairly consistent and the burger is cooked well. The Montrose location has seating outdoors; there is shade but it's fairly hot in the summer. Parking is a pain; their parking lot is tiny and awkwardly shaped so good luck if you have a larger car. Service is minimal / none, you order up front and get your food. The burger is cooked well, has a decent bun and toppings. The sides are mostly fried but pair nicely with the Americana of a meal. We came in around 1:40 am and my friend went to place our order and ended up just watching one of the workers kill a roach with her shoe on the counter! Hey Juliana, I think your staff should remember exactly what happened especially if it doesn't happen often so I'd start by reaching out to whoever was on shift at the time of my visit. Also I went back and searched y'all's review history and although old, you guys have a few reviews that mention having roaches. Me and my partner have been coming here religiously (2-3 times a week) for about a year and a half because it's right down the road. Within the past month they have removed the designated to go person. Now we have to call to pick up our food. Which is inconvenient but okay. Within this past week they have moved to AI answering the call. I finally get through and have been on hold for 15 minutes. I only got my food because my partner ran in to get someone. Tonight was another example -- we ordered fish and chips and couldn't even add extra tartar sauce to the order. To make matters worse, we didn't receive the tartar sauce that should have automatically come with the meal in the first place. This has become a recurring issue. We've sent multiple messages and provided feedback several times, yet there has been little response, no meaningful changes, and no consistent improvement. While the restaurant may be experiencing temporary success, long-term customer loyalty depends on listening and responding to customers -- and that simply hasn't happened in our case. Because of the repeated lack of response and results, I'll honestly begin recommending and supporting other restaurants when people ask where to order from. The line was decently long and so was the wait for our food but it wasn't too bad honestly. I tried the double smash burger and thought it was just alright. The burger joint is probably literally my favorite burger joint. I've been here a few times and I would definitely for sure recommend the turkey burger. It is absolutely delicious. It comes with a bacon jam on top that is really tasty. It has cheese on it as well but what really sets it apart is the cornbread tots that are inside the turkey burger. So with that being said it is very much a loaded burger, that is truly bursting with flavor and so so good. Definitely come here and try it because it's amazing. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is because of the fries. They tasted almost not seasoned at all like they definitely could've used some extra salt so that kind of made me feel like it wasn't a completely perfect meal...but those burgers were amazing. My boyfriend got a regular burger and he said his was very delicious as well so this is definitely a place to try if you want a good burger. I got the Opa burger ($11.99). It was mediterranean inspired with feta cheese, tomatoes, and goat burger meat. I also tried their normal French fries! They have spicy and normal ketchup available, which is so fun! This burger really did taste like a shawarma wrap or a Cava salad bowl in a burger form. I liked how the feta cheese complimented the goat flavor. There is only outdoor seating at this place. There are large wooden tables and also smaller circular tables available. We went on a Friday evening and it was pretty packed! It's hard to find parking in front of the store. Be careful of towing signs near the dumpsters. It seems like this store was ALWAYS busy preparing take-out orders. Our order took about 15 minutes to come out. All the employees were super friendly! Came here after seeing it on Yelp's top 25 fries list (and it was already on my bookmarks as a burger place). This is a very popular burger joint in Montrose that has a very small dedicated parking lot. You're more likely to have luck parking on a side street and walking over. It seems to be mostly a sports bar with all patio seating, so no real indoor seats. The patios all appeared covered and well ventilated so maybe its bearable for Houston natives. Even on a Sunday midafternoon, it was quite bustling so I'm thinking its a hot spot regardless of time or day (granted it was football season and Sunday so perhaps people were actually there for the games). I was able to order from the cashier and service was quick and efficient. I will say, I had difficulty hearing over the noise but I was also working earlier so my brain was mostly mush by the time I arrived. I ordered the chili queso fries to go and didn't even get a burger but those who know me know I will literally just go for fries. They kept the chili, queso, and fries separate which is very smart as it kept the fries crisp on the drive home. The fries themselves are good, think Five Guys but actually crispy. The chili and queso were honestly unnecessary and sadly didn't do much for me. I found the chili (which had beans and in Texas no less) to be a bit too watery for a sauce application. The queso was alright but nothing so stand out. I can understand the hype around this spot and definitely see myself returning to try some other foods.
