With all the hype, we had to try the Maryland crab "crumpet," a tiny (maybe the size of a silver dollar ‍), toasty, round cranny-toast that had a decent amount of crab on top, though at $9 *each*, we couldn't decide if it was worth it. The crab was spiced nicely, though. One of our fave dishes was recommended by the server -- the tilefish kinilaw, a ceviche-adjacent blend of chopped light white fish, red onion, cucumber, mango (I think), & chives blended in coconut broth. YUM! It was served in a dish with lettuce cups, an interesting vessel for the fish-yumminess. We also shared a beet & berry salad with crunchy, candied pecans with a yogurt dressing. Yum! The entree (we shared) was surprisingly really good - another rec from our server -- the Massaman fish curry with fresh herbs & house-made, grilled roti, an interesting naan-like bread that proved great vessel for scooping up the decadent curry gravy. YUM! We also shared a Caesar salad with garlic croutons. It was good; nothing terribly special, but good. Really great meal. Great service. Great ambiance. We'll definitely be back. It took an HOUR for us to get our food. When it came my lamb chops definitely did not look like they were worth $60; they were extremely small and did not have a lot of meat on them. My best friend said her curry was fine, but it was nothing special. Our waiter was nice, but we often found ourselves trying to look for him and waiting for him to return to our table. The manager originally told us we could have our drinks free (a Shirley temple and a virgin mojito). We had to advocate for ourselves and ask for at least an appetizer off because we had waited an hour for our food. Overall, this place is nice for aesthetics but not for food quality and quantity. My best friend also asked for her food to be boxed and never received the boxed food. We waited so long to get our servers attention throughout the night, so we decided to just leave without the boxed food.

The steak was cooked PERFECTLY and was wonderful. Overall, I loved Pacci's. It has a laid back family vibe yet the food is fantastic. One more thing: the neighborhood Pacci's is in is beautiful. Even though the brunch is bottomless with a menu to choose from, the servers decided to just bring random items from the brunch menu to the table. Honestly, some of the worst food I have ever seen. The vegetable vitamin salad looked like slop, as did the rice/salad dish, which I'm not even sure what it was called. We were also brought a trio of three dips as well as pita and cornbread. The dips were very bland, the cornbread was dry and flavorless. As I did not like any of the items that the servers selected, I begin requesting other salads/appetizers off of the menu. I requested the Greek/Mediterranean salad and the pickles, both were very underwhelming. As far as the brunch foods, the menu was literally all over the place. Even though this is a Balkan-inspired restaurant, there were items such as fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and shrimp and grits on the menu, which don't actually make sense in light of what Balkan cuisine is.
