If you're looking for a quick seafood fix, then I recommend Seafood Legend. I customized a seafood boil (snow crab legs, headless shrimp, and scallops) and added a side of hush puppies. The seafood boil was great! The food was hot upon arrival, and the seafood was seasoned and my crab legs were VERY meaty! I really enjoyed the sauce. The hush puppies were a bit soft for my taste, abut still very tasty. If they were fried for about 2 extra minutes they would have been perfect! I ordered the cheesecake dessert as I had a craving and I LOVE cheesecake. Unfortunately, the cake was very bland and not to my personal liking so I definitely wouldn't order this again. What a disappointing experience! Beware that this is not a "seafood joint"; this is your traditional urban carryout establishment that puts their seafood in a bag. This place is NOT a Cajun/Louisiana Cuisine Restaurant. The interior and exterior appearances made me want to turn back around. However, I had already placed an online order. I found this establishment on GrubHub, and the reviews seemed promising, though that was not the case. I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp Fried Rice, Honey Habanero Wings, and a Seafood Boil. While the shrimp were larger than expected, the rice was a bit overcooked and was not hibachi-style. The party wings were tiny and lacked flavor. The kicker was the mushy seafood. The crab legs and shrimp were overcooked and mushy and ultimately inedible. This place also lacked indoor seating and sufficient parking. I didn't feel like cooking on Mother's Day so I decided to try Seafood Legend for lunch. I ordered the shrimp po boy, cream of crab soup, and crab balls and fries for my daughter. Everything was tasty. The crab balls were delicious and my daughter, who is a picky eater, ate all of her food. I loved the sauce on the shrimp po boy and the bread was really soft. The soup was good but I think it could've used a tinge more seasoning. Besides that, I was pleased. It was a holiday so they were pretty busy when I went so the pick-up process didn't go smoothly and I ended up waiting longer because someone accidentally misspelled my name on my order, which was ready all along. They only get 4 stars because they do not offer dine in. I've had their seafood boil and it is really good; very saucy, not too salty, and packed with goodies. Usually crab clusters are hit or miss with crab boils but the two times we had them the clusters were decently sized. I've been pleased all around by the amount of sausage and potatoes they also add to the bag. Next time I'll give more items a try. I would definitely recommend this location. read more

Absolutely loved my combo number one which was the half a pound of shrimp half a pound of snow crab, two corn, and two potatoes. I have been ordering from Seafood Legend since the arrived on the delivery sites...at 1st I was going 1-2 times a week, the food was a great price for what you received, piping out and very tasty. Just recently, within the past month, the quality and quantity has diminished, the sauces break down...leaving the oil separated from the broth it is prepared in, the prices for the food and delivery has been raised...but it's no longer worth the prices that The Seafood Legend charges! New to the neighborhood and had a taste for seafood so I gave this place a try. I ordered the Combo #3 and added green mussels with spicy legend sauce. First things first the seafood was really fresh and cooked really well! Everything in the bag was hot but wasn't mushy or falling apart. The legend sauce didn't really have a distinct flavor, but it's really well seasoned and well rounded, doesn't seem too buttery. Corn and potatoes were both good and not over cooked which was great. I ordered spicy but it wasn't spicy at all, so next time I'll give the extra spicy a try with the Cajun sauce. Overall I gave this place 4/5 stars for the fast delivery and good quality seafood. This seafood boil was well worth my $23 dollars. For the boil to only be half portions it filled me up. I got the Cajun sauce and it tasted just like that. It was not too salty, however, it was a lot of garlic. The spicy Mayo on the side was also a great to dip the shrimp in! I've never seen crawfish this big in my life. I had to evaluate if this was imitation crawfish or the real deal. I enjoyed every bit of it. This place is new but they have great customer service and orders placed on the phone are ready fast. This is our second time at Seafood Legend and have to say the food was excellent. This place blends some of the traditional Asian cuisine (at least from what I have had) and seafood boils. I have to say its departure from the norm is appreciated. We tried the "Steak and Cheese Egg Roll" (just because it is steak and cheese) and it did not disappoint... The table also tried the Calamari, Chicken Hibachi Fried Rice, Jumbo Shrimp Basket and for a shared entrée we sampled the Ocean Catch Combo (comes in 4 sizes with plenty to share).... Yuan Yi (chef) did a great job in the kitchen. Thank you! We will definitely be back... The location seems to be the challenge.. situated inside a shopping mall, it is easily overlooked. Definitely NOT worth my money. Totally disappointed in the Sauce which to me MAKES a great boil. Totally oily red water with seasoning packed in container. Crab leg shells seemed old, hard to open. Seasoned Spicey with peppers, very little to no garlic and the eggs and potatoes were both whole. :( as if they just threw them in there, I Prefer both cut. There's nothing legendary about this seafood. It does not taste like a seafood boil, rather seafood in a red broth sauce. If you are looking for a cajun style boil this is not the place for you. I am so happy about this place! I've been looking for a decent seafood boil that's closer to me here in DC, because my "ol'faithful" in Virginia was too far for my random but frequent seafood boil cravings. I have not been impressed with the other options in the DC/MD area, my problem was finding a place that has a flavorful sauce and I've found it with Seafood Legend. I've been twice already both times getting the crab legs and shrimp (bonus with the shrimp because its deveined!) I do prefer a little more garlic in my sauce, but honestly I don't really miss it with the way that they season the Seafood Legend Special sauce and the Extra Spicy spice level is just right. It's not a sit down establishment but that's fine with me because I'm less than 10 minutes away. I will most definitely be back. read more

Drove by the restaurant this week and saw the interesting signs I order some Cajun wings and combo 1. The wing is really good and I really like the Cajun seasoning. As far as legend goes, well you missed the mark by 50+ miles. My wife & I had fried oysters and hushpuppies for appetizer. The hushpuppies were the best of the entire meal. For dinner my wife had "JUMBO" shrimp fried rice. If they think that small shrimp are jumbo's, they must be blind. It also lacked any flavor as if no seasoning was even thought of. I had the crab cake that came with a salad, and 2 sides. The salad was nothing but lettus, a few onions and shoe string carrots. In a salad, you would think tomatoes, cucumber ever croutons. Nope. the crab tested mushy and under cooked. Once again, no seasonings were to be found. I know that can not be MD crabs the way they tasted. MD crabs have a flavor even with out any seasoning., but not this crab. The server was very good in that she kept making sure our ice tea's were refilled, but she barley understood English. Asked a question and she seemed not to understand and that was reinforced by getting my wife's order wrong. My wife asked for no veggies in the fried rice and it came with them all. I ordered here from Uber Eats a couple of weeks ago and the food tastes great. I have no complaints. My favorite part was the corn on the cob dipped in the seafood boil sauce. Seafood Legend is extremely overpriced. As we walked in there was a sign saying Crab Legs would now be Market Priced while they were already so expensive I wouldn't dream of ordering them. The interior is nice and inviting. The waitresses are pleasant but need more training. They frequently had to look at our menu's on the table to see what we were ordering. My party decided on just one drink as the food was so expensive. I had a feeling the drinks would be weak so I ordered a Martini. My husband ordered a Jack and Sprite. The waitress told him the drink was not on the drink menu so she was confused. He explained to her how to make the drink. My sister ordered a Cosmo. Both said their drinks had little alcohol. Disappointing as we only order drinks when we eat out. Our food came in less then ten minutes so we didn't get a chance to finish our drinks or talk. Our appetizer of Hush Puppies never came. Our main courses were just ok. At those price's they should be over the moon. We decided not to order dessert. Omg! This seafood was so amazing we ordered twice in 1 day. The first time we ordered the Ocean Catch #C. It came with 3 clusters 1/2lb of shrimp corn and potatoes. It's seasoned to perfection. We ordered spicy but it wasn't too spicy, which is fine with me. I will say everything was so tasty. The crabs were a decent size and the shrimp were very good and firm. The second time my hubby ordered a shrimp po boy and shrimp basket. Also we had clam chowder. Which was very good and creamy and packed with flavor. Only downside I wish there were more potatoes in the chowder. The shrimp taste great and everything is so fresh. I definitely will be ordering again soon! read more

This is a little hole in the wall for seafood, when you come here don't have high expectations. It's a small and hot with no AC in the place. This is my first time coming. My friend saw this place passing by and told me to go. Well I did and I was taken back by the heat, the prices, and the service. I ordered Calamari & Hush puppies. You don't want to know how it looked, but if you've ever had them you'll know what I'm talking about Calamari has a pretty light golden brown crust and it comes in all different shapes this was dark brown and greasy with straight pieces. "That's a not" of course I sent it back, very disappointed. Now the Hush puppies were good they were nice to see and taste. I ordered the Whiting Fish Basket instead you know fish and chips Lol. I figured you can't go wrong with that. I was right it was cooked nice and looked good to. So here's my thoughts on this place.
