Perfection. This pet care hotel gives your dog a better vacation than you are going to have. The staff is terrific and my dog came back happy, healthy, clean, and smelling a little too good. (Now I have to bathe). As a small business owner myself who deals with the public regularly, I asked them how often they are asked to bend their office hours (two 2 - hour time slots per day). They said "often" so I asked how they deal with it. They said said they just have to be firm or they'd never get their work done. This is true of my business as well. Please, folks, respect their time! To those who read the negative reviews and wonder whether this is a good place to keep your dog, it's wonderful just so long as you can show the owners the same respect you expect to be given personally. If you leave their thinking "these people are a**holes",..well, let's just say I'm glad you freed up a spot in the kennel for me. I love this place and I give it my highest recommendation. read more

We recently used their service when going out of town for a Holiday vacation. We dropped off our dogs in the morning and did notice that Belle, our German Shepherd was hesitant to go in. This is normal behavior for her, so we didn't think anything of it. We took off to our destination and around 4:00 pm I received a phone call from Marisol, the owner. She left a voicemail saying they had a problem with Belle. I called her back and that's when she told me that Belle had escaped through a part of the fence that was not secured. She said her husband took off on foot trying to catch her but she was too far to get her. Our entire plan was ruined within minutes. We called our family to start looking for Belle. No one was able to find her. We left our hotel and made it back to our hometown around 11 at night. We didn't even stop at home and drove directly to the location in an attempt to find her. Belle was no where to be found. We were devastated and heart broken. Our dog of 7 years was gone in a blink of an eye. After a heart wrenching 24 hours, we found Belle. She had been picked up by a Good Samaritan that kept her safe at night then called the Dog pound in the morning. I was so relieved when I saw her. We lost our hotel stay, our tickets to the event we were going too and our entire vacation. All things that can be replaced. Belle is irreplaceable. Belle is back home which is all that matters. However, I wanted to write this review for others to be aware that this might happen if you leave your fur babies in their care. I still don't know how everything happened and I choose not to investigate. But at least you have been informed. read more

This place isn't professional I told the lady I was going to drop my pup on a Wednesday and she said it was ok. The day we were going to drop him off, my wife called in the morning and the lady owner was very rude and said we had never talked to her before that she didn't know us. At first I liked the idea of this place, the room type atmosphere and the owners seemed to be friendly and knowledgable. When I dropped my two dogs off, I informed the husband that the male may become territorial and nip. He assured me that's part of their breed as a blue heeler and they had worked plenty with this breed. Over the 3 days I was gone I didn't receive any calls so I assumed everything was fine. However when I arrived Marisol the owner was very rude stating "we can't board your dogs anymore." Her approach was unprofessional not explaining any reasoning to the decision which I had to ask to get more information. She stated "your dogs were fine but your male was aggressive with me when trying to get him to come back in from playing outside. And it's not nipping like you stated when you dropped them off" She had a pissed off demeanor as if I was annoying her while picking them up. I felt her attitude was unprofessional and not needed as I was respectful towards her. After getting my two dogs, both were very malnourished and dirty. They smelled as though they laid in urine soaked material. They had to get another bath in order to smell healthy again. I feel they supply a lower rate pricing for boarding which may be the direct result of their treatment of their clients dogs. I would not be bringing them back anyways after examining my dogs. Best bet is to go with a more reputatable company in the area. read more

We have brought our dogs here for a few years and trust the owners. Prices are very reasonable too. Our dogs always seem excited when we drop them off for their "vacations". We miss our pups when we go on trips, whether it be for a weekend, or several weeks at a time, but we know they are in good hands! Highly recommend. read more

Last week I toured the facility, not bad, cool set up and idea, gave them my dogs shot rec'ds, made three reservations for boarding over the holidays so I can fly home (I'm here in McAllen TX as a contractor for the border patrol). 2. Called them today (sat. 8 nov 2015) after we bought tickets to extend the stay by two days...no problem. About 2 hrs later I get a call from 'Bed- N- Biscuts', some male, and all of a sudden he says " I'm sorry to tell you that we are going to cancel your reservations and you cannot bring your dog here" I thought that was strange so I asked "Why ?" He replied " we are a relationship based business and we don't feel you should be here" Wow, I said " for what reason?" He kept repeating the same statement very defensively and would not give me a clear response, and then hung up on me. Not only very rude, unprofessional, but deceptive because if he told me the TRUTH as to why, they would be subject to a lawsuit and they know it. 3. I'll make some educated assumptions here as to why, a. there is a prejudice against me b. for some oddball reason, someone doesn't like the way I look (feel free to check out my facebook photos, linkdin, I'll even send you one in real time). c. they didn't see a reason to be able to charge me more money for training my dog by making an excuse. d. maybe the fact that I am a retired military veteran. e. the fact that I am here working for the U.S. Customs & Border Patrol. f. I don't have a wimpish attitude. g. maybe he got butt hurt because I called on a saturday ? (then don't answer the phone, I work the weekends and don't think twice about weekends...ooops) ha ha). h. I could get into some outlandish stuff here, but the fact still remains, his voice and wording was one of deception, sounded like he needed to hide something, I don't think they can be trusted... something is really wrong there. i. as someone who is in a business where trust is paramount, 10 year background checks are common and often, drug testing mandatory, retired military combat veteran of Desert shield & storm,Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan. All 3 of my children military, DOD defense contractor, a believer in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Son of God and that no one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ, shall I continue ? j. This place ROCKS! The owners are super nice and very knowledgeable. Our dogs were exhausted due to playtime and socializing there, which is exactly what our pups need. The other boarding facility we used to use gave them very little exercise, so when I picked them up they were more excited than when I dropped them off. . .not good. After Bed & Biscuits, our hyper dog slept in the car on the way home, & my big boy just kept his head on my shoulder & gave me licks on the neck & face as if to say 'Daddy, we missed you a lot this weekend, but thank you for letting us stay at Bed & Biscuits. . .that was awesome, Daddy!' A HUGE plus is that they actually take pictures of your dogs and send updates on how your dogs are doing. . .that alone blew me away. Bed & Biscuits have our business for life. read more

We had a bad experience here last year, took my 3 year old daughter with me to visit the place for a tour before leaving our dogs the next day. She stayed right by my side, never yelled, never ran, never tried to touch the dogs in the rooms, nothing...but there was this one little dog screaming its head off anytime she walked by. I'm sure he has a small child at his home and was generally excited to see a little kid. The lady owner then walked up to my "3 year old daughter" in a scolding voice and said she was bothering the dogs. Ummmm...pretty sure it's not a 3 year olds fault a dog was barking at her, if they don't like the dogs barking at people they shouldn't have tours of the facility. I was annoyed, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. The next day we were 30 minutes late to drop off our 2 dogs, they have a certain time frame they like the dogs dropped off...we were on our way out of town, things happen. We rang the door bell and she told us since we were late the dogs couldn't stay. That there are rules and guidelines and we were breaking the dogs routine. She was extremely rude to us! I felt as if we were a complete burden to her even though we had already paid for our 2 days and when leaving the day before they didn't tell us about any sort of special routine they had ect and that we couldn't be a little late. My husband told her, we were on our way out of town, had already paid and couldn't take the dogs with us. She opened the door and said they could stay, rudely I might add. We called every day, spoke to the husband which was always extremely nice and helpful. Our dogs seemed fine, but after this lady treated my daughter that way, treated us that way I will NEVER go back! Nor will I recommend anyone go here. The owner has an attitude problem and treats people as if they are stupid or beneath her. I myself am a business owner, owning 3 business in the Mcallen area, I know the importance of customer service and would NEVER let any of our clients be treated in this way. NEVER!!!!!! I trusted my 2 dogs to this place for 3.5 days and came back to find both dogs with wt.loss, traumatized, dehydrated and they acted like they had not eaten in days. I was not given any explanation , just rushed out of their place. One dog ended up having to be admitted to the dog hospital for 2 days, due to pancreatitis, liver inflammation and kidney complications due to severe dehydration and poor nitrition, as per the Vet. It cost us $700.00 to save the dog's life. He cannot go up our stairs, which he could do, prior to taking him to this place. The other dog yelps out loud to any little sound or when she hears other dogs bark or sees other dogs. She was really shook up and hasn't gotten over it. I Definetly will never return to this place! My dogs have been here for a little over 4 years now. And I have them there 5 days a week for all day daycare with to and from transport. Marisol and Fidel are a god send. I love them to death. My dogs LOVE going there and I often feel like they'd rather be there than here. Whenever they hear the doorbell they run out because they think the van is here to pick them up. I travel a lot so I also board them there. I NEVER have to check up on them because I know they're in good hands. Marisol and Fidel don't put up much with people who have more anxiety than their dogs or who treat their dogs like children. Dogs are animals and they need discipline and a routine. They run a pack style house. If you're not familiar, watch a little Cesar Milan. He NEVER babies his dogs nor talks to them like they're 1 year old infants. He is stearn and no nonsense. My dogs are so well behaved and I owe it all to BNB. I'm very entertained by the negative reviews they have received on here. One lady couldn't recognize her dog after a short stay. Really lady? Did you leave the dog for a year? Some people have real psychiatric problems. Others are NEVER happy no matter what. Remember that dogs take after and act like their owners. Yes owners. Not parents. If you're neurotic, then they are too. Please give this place a try. I have been 10000% satisfied and my dogs have spent at least 1/2 of their lives there. read more

I had a terrible experience with this place, they don't feed the dogs properly, when I picked up my dog I almost didn't recognize him, he had lost so much weight so i took him to the veterinary for an evaluation and had to put him in some rich in nutrients food for a week to see how he recovers after starving in Bed and Biscuits. When I called Bed and Biscuits the owner was very rude, she told me that it is normal for a dog to lose weight in a new place and that feeding 1 or 2 / day is more than fine. If they would be better prepare for the job they do they would know that puppies eat more than 2/day especially if they are a very small breed. The veterinary recommends 3-4/day meals because small breeds can get hypoglycemic easily ( low levels in sugar/blood). I wish I could go back in time but unfortunately my dog had to suffer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and I hope more people starts expressing about the experiences in this place so we can avoid more dogs from getting hurt. read more

Even though the couple that runs this place loves dogs, when I expressed my worry about the two ratty, upholstered, moldy, mildewed sofas they have outside that they let the dogs play on, as being a health hazard, this worry was brushed aside. I told the owner that twice my dog had come home smelling bad of mildew and I had to bathe him (as many people are, I am allergic to mold and mildew). And, I also informed her that my dog recently had a bacterial/yeast infection in one ear. The owner refused to even consider the mold as being unhealthy, because as she put it, "No dog or anyone else has ever complained about it or gotten sick." I suggested that maybe problems were happening but no one had connected the mold with the problem. And, that the dogs would inevitably end up with spores under their nails, on their fur, and in their mouths and lungs ..... and then, go back to their owner's homes and in contact with children and adults who might have asthma and allergies. I wrote the CDC about such mold and the reply I got was that any mold and mildew you see is unhealthy and can be dangerous. And, these sofas clearly have mold on them. I have been in sales (and basically anyone providing a service is selling their place and good name, to gain trust) and no customer wants to hear, "No one else has ever complained about that....." Because I challenged her on this, I was told it would be better if my dog just did not come anymore. She then ignored anything else I had to say and condensendingly smiled as if I was making something out of nothing (I actually thought everyone knew mold was a health hazard). She was so adamant about being right (her insistence that the sofas were not a health hazard) and obviously offended that I said my dog stunk from the mold/mildew -- that she told me that it would be better if my dog just didn't come anymore. Hmm... putting ratty, mildewed, molded sofas over the health of dogs and people and losing a customer over filthy furniture that is was not intended to be left outside! Don't bother with this place or risk acquiring skin/ear bacterial or yeast infections OR respiratory problems due to these sofas. (My dog does not have allergies, but for dogs who do -- this place would be even harder on them.) read more
