The only thing lacking is good communication, but there is a young lady there that ALWAYS smoothes things over. So I've got to give them some kudos for that! I just prefer not to have to smooth things over upon each visit, but given the drive of each individual, some more ambitious to charge extra than others, I think if they come together and form stronger leadership they will flourish as a business. Again, polite, kind, and caring. If you add consistency to this dynamic, you'll have a perfect place where you can feel 100 percent happy to leave your family (fur-baby) under their care. I'd give them a 5 if communication was clear, but it was almost going to leave a score of 3, if the young lady wasn't always there to keep my billing consistent and fix the miscommunications. They have a great location, clean facility, cute ideas, just need to be consistent and keep up with competitive pricing. I was guided thru the entire process and even had people not only rooting for me and my new fur baby but they helped me pick a name for her. I was also able to get her spayed that day so I could pick her up the next day. I was given a gift from Chewy (a Disney dog bed) and her first meds including heartworm free. The next day I drove up to the door and one of the team brought her out in a blanket and delivered her to my car. Thank you to the entire team at the Laurie P. Andrews Center. So I choose another dog, donated $120 dollars, and brought the dog home. All my cats disappeared. I took him back the next day and once again looked at available dogs and low and behold there was the dog I asked for the day before, my first choice. So I asked to adopt him. And was denied. Then told I could foster him - then they changed their minds again and denied me the right to foster, supposedly because he has some 'food aggression disorder'. They have a jillion dogs. The place reeks of ammonium enough to sting your eyes. Dog rescue is a good work and I thank them for that but something is somehow a little off. Betty Clark
