Washing Machine repair.... He arrived, went into washroom, took off one panel and began... I left room to allow him to do his job. Within 15 minutes, he came out and said machine was repaired, and that he replaced a "broken clip" (interesting, because he only brought in a small tool bag, and never left the utility room to retrieve anything). He quoted a low price over phone, but to our surprise his invoice was for $343.!! He went and on about "labor rates' for "house calls". We reluctantly paid and he left. He fixed a leak on my washer then it started leaking again a few days later. He told me there was a 90 day warranty on the repair which cost me over $460. When I tried to call him to come fix it, he said something sexual to me over the phone. I assumed he was drunk and mistook me for someone else and I really wanted my washer fixed so I didn't pay it any mind and thought to call him back the next day when he was sober. Dylan Brown was contacted through the website Appliance Pro after inserting our zip code to fix our oven which was not holding the temperature. He was there less than one hour, replaced the sensor. The bill came to $$487.90 which included $89.95 for the service call, $88 for the part, and $309.95 labor. After he left, we tried the oven and it did the same thing so my husband called him and Dylan kept talking over him and not listening and then hung up on my husband. We texted him that night and he did not respond. We called him the next morning and he did not respond. He definitely does not like anyone asking him questions! When we finally got through on the website phone number for Appliance Pro (903-690-7282) he answered the phone and started with his talking about ordering a part, etc. (Just like other customer reviews posted). Under no circumstances should you EVER let Dylan Brown into your home. He knows nothing, the only thing he knows is how to con people out of their money. After a week of calling back and forth to figure out when he was going to be replacing the part for my washing machine he would ignore my calls until the point that his voicemail box was full. Appliance Pro Today the contract company Dylan is running through a week into the debacle after I reported his poor service came back to me and said "We just got ahold of Dylan Brown at Appliance Masters and he said the wrong part for the pump housing was sent to him and he should have the new part in very shortly. He also said he will get back to you as soon as possible to get your Appliance properly fixed. Hope this helps." All of this information I was not aware of, every time I got through to Dylan he would tell me "I'm getting it in today, I'll call you when I can set up your service" I slowly realized he never ever ordered the part, he didn't need housing he needed a new drain pump motor which in end WASN'T EVEN THE ISSUE WITH MY WASHER. I simply ordered the $40 part which he charged me $60 for on top of $200 in service fees and replaced it myself and the issues continued. He never knew what he was doing he was only playing off of the information that I had told him. Dylan then proceeded to stop answering my calls, after I even politely asked him to give me my money back and I would no longer be needing his services. Shortly after he blocked my number in which I continued to pursue him by spoofing my number a number of times to get through to him because he no longer would answer when my true phone number would come through on his screen. My dryer was not working and called Appliance Masters and they said they can give me a good deal. It turned out it was not a good deal and they charged my 321.01 to get my dryer fixed. They came over and try to fix it and still was not working. They said the problem was the electric and I called a person who was licensed to see if there was any problems and he said no. I had appliance masters talk to him and he found out it was not the electric problem and said he would come over and fix it. He never showed up and you can't leave a message on his phone. I feel obligated to let you know about my recent "service" provided by Dylan Brown. I can't caution you enough about using him. He has walked with $735, never provided the service I paid for, and was completely incorrect about what was wrong with my dryer. He said we needed a new motor when the issue was a face mask was blocking the vent. The repairman that fixed our dryer said it was "blatantly obvious". He messed up the door latch so it is now difficult to close. Consistent with the experiences of others posted here, he "ordered" the part, then the part was lost, then he went dark, then he said he was in the hospital but was being released, 2 weeks later said he was still in the hospital getting released. Then he committed to refund our money within 48 hours and it has been 3 weeks. I requested a refund via Venmo which he declined. Given that he was having health issues, we offered to buy the part from him and pick it up - but he declined which tells me he never got the part! read more

I agree with the others who have posted a review. Dylan Brown has not been honest and forthright with us. I needed a gasket for my upright freezer. He insisted I pay him in advance for the part he needed to order and the labor as well which I did and now we can't get him to come to fix the gasket. There is always a new excuse why he cant come and he has lied to me about leaving messages on my phone (never) and even coming by my house and us not answering the door. I have a front door camera and there is no record of him coming to our door. He "over talks" you when you try to discuss and has hung up twice on us. I guess this is an expensive lesson to learn. Mr Dylan Lerod Brown with his company he calls Appliance Service (on my receipt he put Appliance Master Service) is a fraud and tells lies constantly. I found him on a company called Appliance Pro after entering my zip code. He came out and diagnosed that I had a defrost control stuck, says he put some oil on it, and charged me $204. Frig worked for 4 days and when I contacted him on that 4th day that evening to let him know it wasn't working he asked me to call him the next morning, which I did, said he would be out before noon, didn't show, then proceeded to lie when I called him, and did that for several days saying he was coming and never showed. I was so frustrated that I asked my boyfriend to call him. He told my boyfriend he never spoke with me. He was very unprofessional and rude on the phone. I have never experienced this type of service ever from a business. Do not under any circumstances let him repair your appliance! He came out to fix my wine fridge right away but said he had to come back. .He set about 3 appointments before he actually showed up and that was after me badgering him. Said it was just a relay and charged me $289.00. Then it still didn't work so he said it was the mother board. I assumed that he had been vetted since he was on the site, but no, it is just a paid ad site...but that is another compliant. The tech responded promptly and showed up to the house. Took the washer apart and identified a broken motor. Ordered the motor and said he'd be back in two days to replace. We paid $550 for the service and parts (I know...should not have paid until service was complete). Flash forward two weeks later. Multiple excuses for missed service appointments...Have to drive to Ft. Worth to pick it up...they didn't have the part...I'll expedite your service tomorrow...many wasted hours sitting at home waiting. All this on top of not having a working washing machine for over a month. Not sure how many clean pair of underwear you have sitting around, but a full month is pushing it. AWFUL. I was told by Dillon (the service technician) Friday I would be the first call at 10:00 Saturday morning. When I called to check where they were, he told me I was the third call behind a Grand Prairie and a Coppell call At 5:00 I called again and was told he had his grandchildren and would be at my house at 8:30 Sunday morning. I told him we go to church and he said it wouldn't take long, not to worry. At 9:15 I checked on him and he said he was getting gas in Garland (32 miles) and would be here shortly. We left for church at 10:30 and he still wasn't here 2 hours past the specified time of the second appointment he set. According to the phone calls he placed, he showed up at my house 2 1/2 hours late and was extremely belligerent when I returned his call. Stay away from this company! You will get nothing but attitude from a "technician" who had zero interest in helping me solve a problem with a leaking gas range. He even grumbled about having to drive to Mesquite. He said he could not smell gas, that I must have left one of the knobs on, and that it was impossible for it to leak otherwise. He hardly even glanced at my stove, gave me what I felt was a huge estimate to simply replace a valve on the flex line, and then got seriously annoyed at me for asking too many questions. After I apologized for obviously wasting his time, he said he was done offering "advice" and left without offering a receipt for the service call. Ten minutes later I smelled gas stronger than before and called Atmos, who came out, ran a pressure test, and confirmed that, yes, I had a leak. First, the fact that I had to give this company a star is insane. This company does not deserve anything other than a lawsuit. This company, if you can call it that, is horrible. DO NOT USE. I called the company to repair my washer. They sent a man named Dale out. He took apart the washer, pulled a sock out and that was it. He showed me that it worked. I went back outside to finish mowing the lawn while my wife wrote a check, for what I thought was going to be just a little above the quote I was given over the phone, which was $59.95. No for about 45 minutes and a sock it cost $300. So after the repair man, Dale left, I was done and we had an engagement to get to with some friends. In hindsight I should have check the washer before Dale left. When we got back home, and I was bringing a load of laundry to the washer, to my surprise what I saw next left me speechless and pissed. Dale the repair man did not put the washer back together. Meaning the shell he took off was still off along with what I assume are pieces from inside the washer. On top of that, he apparently cut himself because there is fresh blood all over our washer and the floor and the towels Dale asked to use. Also he took my only good pair of pliers. I called the man who sent him out. This man stated he was dealing with his family and that he would figure this out on Monday. Mind you this was Saturday that this all happened. I stated to him that I have two kids a wife and myself. And a lot of laundry to do before Monday and that I needed this taken care of asap. He stated that he would then send someone out on Sunday. I waited at my house until 6 p.m. and no one ever showed. I tried calling and texting the man who sent Dale out and now that the check was cashed he would not respond to anything. Says he's fixed your appliance then after he leaves with your check you find it's not fixed. Finally get him and he promises to come back same day then never calls. The door was warped and the hinge inside of panel was loose and trying to come through the inner side of the door. It was totally screwed up. He never came back. Had to buy new one. He pays an answering service who puts out numbers in surrounding metroplex area so you think you are calling someone local and you aren't. We contacted them and they returned our $85.00 service fee but the man who pretends to know what he is doing never returned any money and apparently could care less about his business reputation. He said I'll send you $85.00 in the mail. Never got that. New dishwasher cost me $600.00 plus money given to this conman. Also he gives you a receipt but doesn't have any address so you don't know where his "business " is. He finally said he works out of his home. Found out it was more in Dallas area. Next time I have an appliance that goes out I'm going to buy a new one unless it's under a warranty or I know for sure someone is a real service person that cares about their reputation.
