When a customer presents a kohls coupon to be applied to their account and the manager decides ( she doesn't agree) she intentionally held up the transaction, because she (Lydia) wants to tell the customer all about how she feels, to include telling the customer, oh you want twenty dollars, do you want me to "go in my purse and grab twenty dollars" in efforts to disrespect and humiliate the customer, she should be relieved from her job. This was All stated in front of the Asst Manager Sara. Sara had to calm Lydia down. Lydia stood behind her assistant manager and proceeded to Antagonize a customer service Nightmare and she is the Manager? When Sara came to finish the transaction, she said "Oh its all done"..So Lydia wanted to keep me their with my credit card in her hand to continue an unhealthy debate..."Wow" I have been a Loyal Kohls customer for 20 years. I have filed a complaint on line, and over the phone. Please contact me as there is more to the story. By the way I purchase $800 worth of clothing and I was told " who cares". My question to Kohls CEO is does Lydia represent Kohls, and their Mission, Value and Vision for Kohls?

This process went on for almost a month before we made the final purchases. Amy and her managers worked with us and NEVER ever put any pressure on us. Lo and behold, I did find a pair that I really, really liked on Tuesday. I went home and tried to find them online, but to my luck I couldn't find them anywhere. When I came back on Thursday and was approached by a sales associate asking if I needed any help and I told him the exact pair that I wanted. He bent down and looked in the drawer where all of the new fresh pairs were kept. He takes out a pair and says oh these are them, and I said "no, I'm sorry they're not, they're not the right color." He said, "yes they are, they are the same model number as the one you just showed me." (Rodinara MK5009). I told him that through my research I noticed that there are four pairs they go under this model number, but they are just different colors (Silver, gunmetal, rose/pink, and gold). He said, "oh well, we just go by the MK4digit here." You could tell he was getting slightly flustered because it was apparent that I was more knowledgeable in the product that he is supposed to be selling to me. Thankfully not too long after, we found the exact pair that I wanted and I went up to the register. During checkout, I felt extremely rushed. I understand it's supposed to be a quick transaction, you know, the usual swipe your card, sign, etc., but it just seems like he couldn't wait for me to leave so that he can move onto the next potential customer. Nevertheless, the store is incredibly clean, welcoming, and thankfully stocked.

But, twice in a row when I've needed an outfit/dress for special occasions (a wedding and my birthday) MK has come through and had just the right thing for me! I'm honestly not a fan of the bags, and that's just a personal preference but I am a fan of the clothing. When I was just there it seemed that most, if not all, of the bags were all synthetic. If I'm at an outlet spending ~$150 on a bag, give me the real leather! Now if you don't want leather and prefer synthetic, they've got some good looking bags. Anyway, I was here looking for a dress to wear to a wedding but when I saw that all but one rack of clothes said to take an extra 60% off the ticketed price, I ended up grabbing any and everything I liked that was my size, or close to it, and trying it on. I ended up with 4 dresses, a pair of jeans and a sleeveless top for only $130 including tax!!! It was unbelievable, I'm not sure how often they offer an additional percentage off, but when I got to the register she said it was an additional 20% off! There were a few things in the store that the extra 20% off didn't apply to, but luckily I wasn't shopping for those (sunglasses, perfume and selected bags). It was amazing and this was definitely the big hit of my day. The store was bright and clean and when the woman that was helping realized what I was looking for, or even what my boyfriend started looking at while I was in the dressing room, she started looking in the back and bringing me more things to try on! She was great and I wish I knew her name. I'm definitely a huge fan now and this will be one of the select stores I stop in every time I come to Clinton! I've been waffling between 4-5 stars, and I'm going with 5 for the deals and service and overall experience. The only thing pointing me to 4 were those synthetic material bags, but since I wasn't really shopping for bags and I was there for clothes, I decided to stick with 5.

Disappointing Experience at Bath & Body Works…read more I stopped by this Bath & Body Works today, and honestly, I was shocked by how unprofessional the staff was. One of the employees looked like she was literally falling asleep at the register -- eyes half-closed, barely responding, and clearly not interested in helping anyone. No greeting, no "Can I help you find something?", just a blank stare like she couldn't wait to leave. It really gave off a "don't care" attitude that made the whole store feel unwelcoming. I love Bath & Body Works products, but customer service like this ruins the experience. Management seriously needs to check in with their staff and make sure the people representing the brand actually want to be there.

In Westbrook there used to be a nice shopping outlet, most of the stores are shut down, there is a small selection of stores still open, and one of them is The Bath & Body Works Outlet. I don't know that there's a Bath & Body Works Outlet anywhere else but here. The prices are significantly more reasonable here. They had candles for around $4.00, hand sanitizers for $.50, hand soaps for $2.00, and more. There was plenty to choose from. They're currently running their Semi Annual sale, so the sale is better then most other time. If you're in the area, and enjoy these products, this store is worth visiting. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The one downside is, they had some things as "testers" that were out of stock as for sale items. They could just take away the testers and problem solved.
