Make sure when you're using this company that you verbally enforce with the worker(s) to flush the toilet if they use it. On my case, I live in an apartment complex and we have a bathroom for vendors but I guess it was too far to go downstairs so the worker decided it was better to use the tenant's private bathroom! We've had bb for months now, tried to treat it ourselves and just made it worse. It manifested to the point of psychological effects, lots of wasted $$$$ on new sheets, new bed, washing n drying, and just plain DENIAL on our part. Finally decided to get a professional-- called BBAG and spoke the most patient, honest, informative person named KrisAnne-- she talked to me for 45mins. Of course I needed to call other places and found many cheaper places but it just didn't sit well with me, they didn't seem to have to caring concern and help BBAG could provide. Canceled and called KrisAnne again, and once again she assured me they can get the job done. Fast forward to a 2 weeks later. Steve, Scott and Johnny came today, and real experts-- you can tell know what's they're doing. They were amazing , did the job in less time than expected we are very happy and at ease! All of the procedures that Steve has told us to keep up on, we have and the problem seems to be getting worse not better. Can't speak to actual exterminator services, but if you don't know who to call first, start with Steve! I had been worried about some itchy bites for a few days that didn't seem like anything I've experienced before. Had stayed in a motel recently and was worried about bedbugs. Found a bug that kind of fit the description and panicked! Called Steve at 7:15 in the morning and he answered his phone. Steve came to our house twice to carefully assess the house and all of its areas, and discuss the process. We also called and spoke to Kris in the office who carefully reviewed the process for us. Steve is brilliant in his knowledge of bed bugs, in the isolation techniques for the beds, and in the safe spray and carpets that trap the bugs. My apartment manager used this service on my place. So far, so good! It's been several months now.

I was waking up with terrible itchy bites, and tore apart my apartment trying to find the source. I assumed they were bedbugs, as the bites were severe, and appeared in the morning. I wasn't able to find any visual evidence of bed bugs, and so I called Bed Bugs All Gone to bring their dog, Megan, to establish with certainty whether I had bed bugs or not. Barbara arrived the next morning with Megan, the dog, who signaled for bed bugs in three places in my apartment. There was no visual evidence found in any of the places Megan signaled, and Barbara made it clear that I was paying only for the dog, not for her aid in confirming the alert. The follow-up I received was from Steve trying to sell me the incredibly expensive termination services. As someone who spent an incredible amount of time reading online forums and such, it is universally held that you should find visual evidence, particularly exoskeletons or blood, before treating. In the end, I went to a dermatologist to get a second opinion. Apparently, I had scabies. It went away with a single treatment, and the bites stopped. I never had bed bugs. I received no refund, nor apology, when I explained all of this to Steve, who called me several weeks later seeing if I was ready to treat. And to the folks at Bed Bugs All Gone, I'm writing this review under my middle name, so you will not find me in your customer database. read more

Please pay attention to the negative reviews on Yelp. We made a huge mistake by trusting this company, and going by their 1 year warranty statement. We got bed bugs in our large 2 bedroom townhome, from a recent trip, and since we have a 1 year old at home, we decided to go the non-toxic route. Despite being 3 times as expensive as a chemical treatment, we called Steve, who gave us his lofty promises of how the Cimi Shield works. He came with his crew, and sprayed down the whole house with Cimi Shield and treated the beds and put the encasement and isolation cups on. I was a bit surprised, that he said the bagging of clothes and curtains was not necessary, but we decided to do it anyway. I had to take my baby and leave the home since the smell was a bit strong, and my husband was the one monitoring them. They finished the job in a great deal of hurry in less than 2 hours. When I returned, I learned they had not sprayed all the furniture, and had left out our rocking chair, wooden cupboard and the shelves. They only sprayed the perimeters of the rooms along with the couch, the beds and dresser. 2 hours after they left, we noticed a bug on my carpeted staircase, and we actually took the bug and made it run on our couch which had been pretty heavily sprayed with Cimi shield. Nothing happened! The bug actively moved around even after 20 minutes. We called Steve, and he said that's totally normal, and it may take about 8-12 hours for the bug to die after walking on Cimi Shield. We put it in a ziplock just to monitor, and was shocked to see it was alive for 7 days. Soon after, I noticed live bugs running across the carpet and our living room rugs, every now and then. We called Steve, and heard his standard sales pitch, that we will continue to see bugs for 1 year, and it's totally normal!! We asked him if he'd come to re-spray the house, and he said that's not what the one year warranty is all about. I called the manufacturer, and they tell me that cimi shield works better only on fabric and carpet, and doesn't really stay on leather, or hardwood floor. So why did I have to pay $0.80 per square foot then? Two weeks later, we were shocked to see more bugs in our rocking chair (which was not treated), and a day later, we saw several bugs on our "isolated" bed. We had taken a great deal of care to keep the bed isolated, not letting anything touch it from the ground, so the only way the bugs would be on our bed again, was if it wasn't treated right the first time. So now our $1500 has gone down the drain, and we have to re-treat the whole house! Please do your research well before hiring them (search on bedbuggers forum about cimi shield, and you'll be surprised what you find). We learned our lesson the hard way!! UPDATE: Just want to update the users, that we didn't receive any call from Steve or the company, as stated by him. We did find another solution to the problem - there's an amazing non-toxic product called Ecoraider (read reviews on Amazon, and ordered through their website), and after 2 rounds of thorough spraying, and several rounds of vacuum cleaning, we have found that all the bugs are gone from the bed. Two weeks after Steve had sprayed, we saw several bugs on our master bed. But after 1 week of spraying Ecoraider, we saw only 1 bug in a week's time. Then we did a second round of spraying, and we are happy to report that there are no bugs on the bed. We will be carefully monitoring over next few weeks. I only wish I had discovered this product sooner, as we could have saved our hard-earned money of $1500. WE did so much work on our own this last 3 weeks, with a young baby at home, and my heart aches, on how we got cheated of $1500 just within 2 hours. Don't trust this guy! I called for the sniff dog (Meghan) inspection and Barbara (the dog handler) brought her to help me identify the bed bugs. The dog was useless, i don't think if she was even trained, total waste of my money and am going to ask him to refund my money ASAP. Met Steve Coy the same day and while he seemed cognizant of what he is trying to do initially, the conversation went really shaky and instilled zero confidence in me of his services. I simply asked him if this is going to be the permanent solution for bed bugs to which he said, the permanent solution is to burn your house. Bed bugs all gone was a nightmare for me. My apartment was crawling with them when I called Steve, who was out within a day to look it over. He said I had bedbugs all right, and took $900 to treat the apartment with heat tents and his special spray. One thing though, he said that because I had a trundle bed that pulls out from the main bed and sits close to the floor, he couldn't give me his usual one-year guarantee. But he said "don't worry we're going to get rid of them!" When I called three days after he left to say I was still being bitten, Steve assured me that if there were bugs, they were "eating their last meal" and would soon be dead from his combination of treatments, Including the miracle natural spray! Well it didn't turn out that way. The biting continually increased until the bed and frame were crawling with them. I called Steve, who said actually, with a trundle bed I would NEVER be able to get rid of the bugs. He wasn't willing to stop by a second time or even offer a partial refund for my nightmare. In fact it took three months of hand to hand combat with spray bottles of real bed bug spray and flashlights and constant inspections for new crops of bugs to finally do them in. We still have our trundle bed, and by the end of the summer we got rid of the bugs. But I will never forget the guy who was sure he could help me out until I had a problem. Then told me to kiss off. I still have bed bugs despite listening and doing every thing I was directed to by Steve. My arms are now covered in scars and bloody scabs. I'm miserable. And since I'm about to move, I'm incredibly worried that I'm going to spread the bugs or the next tenant will get them. I moved into my grandmothers home in August of 2015. I immediately started to get bites and rashes. I assumed it was a rash. Months later I guessed it might be bed bugs and immediately told my aunt and mother, who help take care of my grandmothers affairs while I care for her on a daily basis. It took coaxing, especially since my grandma and I have very little money, but my mom finally called an inspector. Not Steve and his crew, but they came and said there was evidence. However their quote of $1300 was too much for us. So we turned to Steve. He said he could do it for $800(I believe, or a little more). He talked about the fact that the cimi shield wouldn't smell(it definitely did) and was very knowledgable. I enjoyed talking with him and honestly believed him that my suffering would be over in the next few weeks. He sprayed everything, put our mattresses in covers, and placed traps underneath our bedposts. Unfortunately none of this worked. This was in early April(I believe). He said I'd maybe see a few bed bugs over the next two to three weeks. I did. A lot. I got less bites at first but then they came back with a vengeance. I'm sill being bitten and I'm miserable. I ended up having to have my Dad help pay for the extermination and that's caused severe consequences for me. I trusted that Steve would remove the bed bugs but he didn't. All that time and money was spent for nothing. I barely sleep, I always itch, it's hell. And I thought it was over. My Aunt and Mom wouldn't listen when I said the bed bugs weren't gone, mostly because it's a stressful and traumatic experience and they didn't want to have to deal with it again or pay more. This is why I give Bed Bugs be Gone one star. The fact that Steve was kind and informative actually makes it worse in my eyes. I truly believed him that it would work. I would highly recommend that if you do hire him, you make sure that you stay in contact with him. Don't do what we did. Don't spend more money then you have for nothing. After an initial scare that we might have bed bugs in our apartment, we called the 800 number on the main website. The staff were extremely helpful, prompt, and professional and set up an appointment for us immediately. Upon arriving, they did an inspection of our apartment advised that we might not have bed bugs after all as they found no signs of bed bugs. Ok this Sunday I found a bug that I wasn't sure what it was I was almost sure it was a bed bug I called bed begs all gone on a Sunday and Steve answered the phone and told me if I could bring a specimen to him he could assure me what it was if it was a bed bug or not. I hired Steve to get rid of bed bugs that invaded my house (I never knew this was a problem in San Francisco). Long story short, I got the complete run-around from Steve. The dates of the appointments, as well as the price, kept changing. When he finally did show up, he was extremely rude to my grandmother who answered the door. She has alzheimer's and was confused. He barked at her about being here for the bed bugs. There was no "hi, I'm steve from Bed Bugs All Gone"; just a rude grunt. I heard this from the next room and found him standing there. My experience with this company is similar to that of Natalie's from San Jose. My husband and I found some small bugs in our bed and since I travel and stay in hotels quite a bit, we were immediately concerned that it was bed bugs. My husband went online and found the 5 star rating for this company on yelp and set up an appointment. It was the first company we called. Steve suggested that we start by having the house checked by their dog, which is supposed to be trained to find bed bugs. We agreed. A woman from the company showed up the next day with the dog. She wanted some time alone with the dog in our room where we found the bugs because having us around made the dog nervous. When she came out, she said that the dog had signaled positively for bed bugs on the bed. Based on that, we agreed to have Steve come out and treat our home to get rid of the bed bugs. When Steve came out the next day, we found him to be quite knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions about bed bugs, how to treat them, and how to avoid getting them in the future. His apparent knowledge gave us confidence that he really knew what he was doing. In addition, we have two young children, so we liked that he used non toxic products for the treatment. We showed him the bed and the room where we were seeing the bugs. We actually had a few bugs on the mattress, which we showed him. When he looked at the bugs, he said that he didn't think they were bed bugs, but when I said that those were the only bugs we were seeing, he squished a couple in his fingers and said that they did have blood in them, so they were. Steve then spent a good part of the day encasing the mattresses, treating the walls and carpets, and baking our belongings in a large tent. When done, Steve even wrote and signed a letter for me certifying that he found bed bugs in our home, so that I could submit it to my work and try to get some compensation for the treatment. Overall, we really liked Steve and this would have been a 5 start rating...if in fact we had actually had bed bugs. Unfortunately, we ended up paying over $1000 for the dog visit, the treatment and the tent service, but the bugs did not go away. We called two more companies and had them investigate. Both companies said within the first 5 minutes of the visit that we DID NOT HAVE BED BUGS. They said that we had NONE of the tell tale signs of bed bugs and when they looked at the bugs, the confirmed that the bugs were NOT bed bugs. Each of these other two companies went the extra mile to actually identify what the bug was. It was a common outdoor bug easily handled by an inexpensive treatment. When we found this out, we contacted Steve and asked him to give us some of our money back. We offered to pay for the products used and for some of his time, which we thought was fair. We explained to Steve that he had positioned himself as an expert and that we expected him to advise us not to move forward with the treatment if he was not confident that the bugs were bed bugs. Steve said he would consider giving us some money back, but then never responded to us again. Looking back, I feel like we could have done things differently, but that we were taken advantage of by this company. My advice to anyone who suspects bed bugs and reads this review is that they should have more than one company come in to evaluate the situation and provide a quote before moving forward with any treatment...even if it freaks you out to wait another day or two. read more

Am reserving judgement on this one. Here is my current experience chronologically. 1. Got bitten, called Steve who told me to get an inspection from Megan $150 2. Got an inspection, came clean 3 got bitten and managed to catch culprit. It was a bed bug.. 4. Called Steve who id it from a picture. Also called Terminix and Clarks who did a free inspection and identified the bug 5. Went with Steves solution because of the 1 year warrantee. Terminix offered 3 months and was cheaper by 300$ after the 100$ rebate from Steve because of the wrong inspection result 6. Steve came in and treated and assured me I should no longer see bites else he would re-spray and/or change headboard 7. Got bitten in 2 weeks again and saw a bug 8. Called Steve who came in and put a passive monitor and then told me I could expect to get bitten through the year !!!! That's not what he said when he treated the place .. He said i should not see more bites 9. I reminded him that it may need a re-spray and he said .. No the stuff should last a year and suggested my bites might me from other insects (I am highly allergic to bed bug bite - found out after) and that I should catch one next time . This is after he saw one in the receptacle. 10. I reminded him that I should not get bitten on the bed and he agreed but suggests I may have been bitten elsewhere..weird since bed bugs are nocturnal and venture in the night when people are sleeping !!!! Fact- I woke up at 2:49 am from my bed with my arm swelling up frm the bite 11. His assistant, Scott was more agreeable 12 at the end it was decided if I get more bites I can call Bottom line- if I get bitten I will call again and based on the action will increase or decrease the star rating.. No action or call back I will also report to BBB If I don't get bitten will increase the rating. Next update in 2 weeks Update - Steve came over and sprayed the ceiling of the room, he said to call if I still get bitten and he will get a loaner frame. After 2 nights I summoned the courage to sleep in my bed.. In past 2 nights I have gotten bitten once .. Waiting for another couple of days. Will call Steve if I get bitten again.(hopefully not) . Update : July 1 2016 - got bitten again and found a bug.. Called Steve who came over with Scott and dismantled the bed and packed it up and left in garage ( not to open for one year) he put a one year loaner box spring. Found a bug trying to scale the wall after they they had left .. But good news is - no more bites since then (2 nights now) . While I would have liked my own bed , ' no more bites' beats it .. Steve and Scott were responsive and followed up promptly - Thanks! Next update in a month on how efficient is the spray .. Since the bugs might have migrated to another room . My kid woke up with a bite today ( July 4- first time) . Update- August 8 .. Saw a bed bug again after a month break .. Bit up my kids neck in daytime nap .. Seems like a new batch hatched.. Hopefully Steve will be as responsive - just sent him a message .. Maybe another round of spray in that room will do the trick .. Will keep you all posted Update oct 27-17: kudos to Steve and Scott , they came back and put my bed together again from the garage .. in todays world not many follow up so diligently!! I called Bed Bugs Be Gone after I thought I brought home an infestation from a nice hotel in wine country. The first thing Steve did was to offer their service for inspection by their K9 inspector. The price was reasonable for my house and they came the next day. The cute dog went immediately to work and she knew right where to look as she was in the door running to it and the area was not immediately obvious. She also pointed out that I caught the issue quickly cause she only pointed out the problem on the one bed and no where else in my house. Steve offered options on the cleanup and explained everything. Knowing that this could end up a big problem I had them bug proof my entire home. Steve completed all the spraying, heated the bed area to temp to kill bugs and ensured to keep all areas clean by use of his processes. At first I was surprised by how expensive this process is but then I saw the work that was done and the professionalism for how my job was handled. The gentlemen that performed the work were on time and very friendly thru the whole process. You will not have to wait for them to call you back. I had the BBs in 2015 and used Bed Bugs all Gone. Having the BBs was such a traumatizing and embarrassing experience that I couldn't talk about it with anyone, let alone give a yelp review. It's been a while now, so I don't mind sharing my experience with people, especially those in need. A friend of a friend thinks she might have the BBs, and I raved about Steve's service, so I figured it was time to yelp about it. I didn't really interact with Steve all that much, more with his assistant at the time who did the hunting, killing, and spraying - I don't remember if they had a dog at the time, but we knew we had bed bugs, because we had the signature bites and a dead BB, so we didn't need a dog. Such great service! The assistant was super empathetic and comforting, because he also had BBs once. I followed him around the apartment the whole time, talking to him, because I just felt so uncomfortable in my own home. My apartment is about 600ish sq ft, so the whole ordeal didn't take that long. And, I had already gotten rid of a lot of my furniture, like the couch. He sprayed their magic potion on and around every single thing/inch in the apartment. After they left, the hard part started. I had to bag up anything and everything that I could put in the dryer and take it to the laundromat and put it in the dryer, I think for an hour. The back of my SUV looked like a Dexter episode. I also had to take any furniture that could fit in my car and park it in the sun for a couple of hours. I also bought a ZappBug Heater and put all of my belongings in there, which took a couple hours for each "load". And I had to change the way I did things, such as not wearing my pajamas while lounging on the couch. Getting rid of the BBs is a lot of work! The magic potion is a huge step in remediation, but there's a lot of work that you have to do aside from paying for a visit. It's been 4 years since I used Steve's service, and hopefully they are doing things the same way. As of 4 years ago, I cannot recommend them enough!!!! read more

I was referred to bed bugs all gone by a friend who had recently used their service. Having a bed bug problem can be pretty embarrassing, but Steve and his staff took care of it really discreetly. Steve made sure to explain the process very thoroughly, which I was grateful for (being my first time dealing with any pest issues). He took a long t explaining go us why there wouldn't be bed bugs in this room & why we were being scammed from some people from pittsburg. The owner called back over a weekend to give me advice about how to get bedbugs out of my luggage. His instructions were extremely thorough and helpful, and he was very kind. He would be my first call if I ever had an infestation get into my apartment (but hopefully I won't thanks to the great advice he gave). read more

A couple of people at work had had bed bug infestations at their homes and then last week I started to notice small itchy bites and saw a bed bug on my sheet. From the stories I'd heard of how hard, expensive and involved it was to get rid of them, I freaked out. It was midnight but I decided to start calling exterminators that minute and leave messages to address the situation immediately the next day. Luckily my first call was to Bed Bugs all Gone and Steve picked up on the second ring. He explained his process and said he could come out the next day. He came with his bed bug detecting dog Megan, and his assistant, Barbara and they inspected the entire house including my purse and car. She had a pointed interest in the area where I killed the bug the night before so we decided to treat the area and the rest of the house. The process is fairly easy and non toxic without the need to use heaters that don't protect against re-infestation. He and Barbara completely dismantled my sleep number bed, treated it and put it all back together. Which was no easy task. He also treated the rest of the house. I felt immediately relieved because the treatment kills the bugs without the use of toxins and stays in the treated areas and keeps working for about a year. Steve and Barbara were very knowledgeable and could not have been nicer, they put me at ease right away letting me know this is not uncommon and have helped many other people without the need to retreat.
