I called Pestec for a gopher problem in my front lawn that was getting out of control quickly! I called and spoke with Mikail who gave me answers to all my questions. I made an appointment and got a follow up email confirmation immediately. A very nice and knowledgeable guy named Ricky showed up exactly on time and set seven traps. An appointment was made (during my initial call) for the follow up appointment and he again showed up exactly at 8am. He had captured two gophers in the front lawn. Both visits he took time to give me all sorts of information about the procedure, results and follow up. The main office, Samantha to be specific, sent me a follow up report within 30-45 minutes! Here's a quick follow up. I did a lot of reading regarding mites and other biting insects that may have the same symptoms I was experiencing. I did a simple thing - I stopped opening the window in my bedroom and I stopped getting bitten at night. I haven't had the problem since. Whatever was causing the tiny bug bites went away. Luis tried to help out with the problem and am thankful he dropped by but there was nothing he could do in my case. read more

Ok, so this review is a bit overdue but one of the owners was nice enough to reach out to me a few weeks ago when he read my older post. I checked in with my wife after he contacted me and it turns out that they did in fact come back and clean everything up; they also got rid of the bees nest for us and we haven't seen them since. All in all they did a good job. Also, unbeknownst to us, they had overcharged us by $200 and they sent us a refund! read more

This is not the kind of review anyone wants to write. I generally write reviews only for operations that are either very good or very bad. This is a case of the latter. We contacted Pestec after my roommate brought home an insect problem. Pestec originally seemed competent. But they began a scare campaign that involved 'treating the entire flat' (8 areas) instead of dealing with the fact that the problem was really only in a given piece of furniture. When we disposed of that furnishing, the problem went with it. Unfortunately, however, this process was long. Over 2 months we tried to get them to send a revised estimate for treating just the room in question. Luis argued, and wouldn't provide a revised estimate. They (continually) claimed they were sending these, none every arrived. Our landlord, who was involved, became suspicious during the process because they continually claimed to have sent him a revised estimate, but for weeks he never received one. During a pre-treatment they wanted to vacuum a piece of furniture in my room. I currently have no outside contact due to medical reasons. I allowed them to vacuum the furnishing I sleep on. Three days later, I got a rash. It appears that during their 'vacuuming' they inoculated my sleeping sofa with MRSA. Bear in mind that I have no other contact, and that the infection happened almost immediately after they worked on the only thing in my living space that had outside contact. Given my circumstances, the chances I acquired MRSA elsewhere, according to all evidence and my doctor, are functionally nil. When I contacted them regarding this, I first spoke with the technician that led the pre-treatment. I asked if he was aware of the recent association of an insect pest and MRSA, he was. I then asked what their standard procedure was with their vacuums. He explained it, and I asked if they ever cleaned the nozzles. He said no. I then contacted the owner, Luis Agurto. He completely disregarded my complaint, and basically wrote it off. He claimed it was impossible, but then wrote my landlord a letter claiming that this was -his- responsibility since the landlord agreed to their services. Not only did they infect me with a deadly bacteria, and deny it -- they then attempted to pass the buck. Mr. Agurto is dead wrong, and I have the blisters and the medical bills to prove it. I must strongly recommend completely avoiding this company. They are negligent, unethical, and, in fact, a health -threat- rather than the asset they advertise themselves to be. Instead of actually assisting us with our problem, they resorted to dangerous scare tactics in a bid to 'up the ante' and bill for 8 rooms, instead of the single room we needed treated. This tactic set us up for the delivery of a deadly microorganism into our home and bodies. They ignored the fact that no insects could be located anywhere other than on a single piece of (rather seriously isolated) furniture. These unfortunate facts are highlighted by their cowardly response to a very dangerous situation in which their clear negligence has cost me dearly. The girls in the office -are- extremely helpful, but given the state of the company, I fear their excellence is wasted here. read more

I'm updating this because dealing with bedbugs is a progressive battle, not won in the first round, but it looks like we're winning after all. Just before our scheduled post-extermination inspection, I found a single adult bug on my kid's bed. Pestec had a team on the spot quickly and the bed was steam treated, the room was inspected, and everything handled very professionally. We haven't seen a single bug since then. Thanks guys! Major freak-out moment when I started getting some itchy bites and then found a small dead bug near by bed. I feared the worst - bed bugs - and commenced tearing apart my bedroom. (Vacuum ALL the things!!!) After a nearly sleepless night I called Pestec. While they do charge for inspection of your home with a dog they also offered to identify the dead bug I found for free if I brought it by their office. Sold. The ladies in the office were AWESOME. Not only did they give me the amazing news that my dead bug was NOT a bed bug (huge sigh of relief) but Erin and Melody stayed after their closing time to give me advice on what might be biting me (likely mites from the recent discovery of mice in the property owner's garage next to my apartment) and how to get rid of them. Erin was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and gave great advice. Thanks to Pestec I was able to breathe easier and actually get a good night's sleep! read more

I had a minor freak-out moment when I discovered a couple bed bugs in my apartment. After calling a few professionals, I decided Pestec seemed like the best option to try. I liked how they had non-chemical treatments in their arsenal, like heat treatment to zap the bed bugs. They sent out Gabriel along with a k9 coworker... a cute bed bug-sniffing beagle. Turns out my situation was mainly a false alarm. With Gabriel's helpful advice, I got detailed instructions on how to treat and prevent a potentially serious problem. Instead of being sold unnecessary, expensive treatment, Gabriel's simple solutions seemed to do the trick in my case. It's been a couple weeks now and not a bug in sight. *fingers crossed* After the on-site visit I had a few follow-up questions, for which Melody could not have been more helpful or patient on the phone. Let me just start by saying that I wish all companies could be this dedicated. After a long and horrible experience with another company, which shall remain nameless, we ended up with Pestec for the proper treatment of our Grandmother's apartment for bedbugs. This was a bad situation and the only good thing about it was Pestec's advice, treatment and superb professionalism. Everyone we encountered: Gabriel in the inspection process, Melody & Brittany answering my unending questions and numerous schedule changes, and last, but not least, heat treatment with Darryl, made the process seamless. They not only saved our sanity, but were the utmost professionals through the entire process. I don't know a company that would go the lengths that Pestec did to offer advice about bedbugs when they haven't even been hired. This is what they did from the very beginning when the incompetent landlord and the company she hired could not get the job done. We finally took matters into our own hands and hired Pestec. DO NOT HIRE PESTEC IF YOU HAVE RODENTS. Their warranty is less than industry standard (only 3 months vs. 1 year). They are overpriced and ineffective. You can do better. A technician came out to visit our house. He tried to upsell me on hiring a gardener (his brother) for the neighboring house because there was overgrowth, and told me that unless that was fixed, he couldn't solve the problem. He set traps for rats (we didn't find any) and mice (we didn't catch any). We did better baiting and setting our own traps. The consultation was billed as an initial visit (whereas other gave me their estimates for free). In the end, he couldn't even give me a fixed estimate. Also, *really* hard to schedule. I was kind of glad though, I talked to 3 other companies that seemed much more honest and straight-forward. None of them needed access to the exterior, offered me year-long warranties, and no wait to schedule. read more

My wife's sister was getting bites on her body. We thought it might be bed bugs, so we called Pestec. But then we saw our hamster covered with hundreds of tiny little moving dots. Some quick research online made me think they might be rat mites. I knew we had rats in the house in the past, before we bought it in November. There was a lot of rat poop under the stairs, but I wasn't sure if any of it was recent. Although my wife's sister said she occasionally heard the sounds of something running through the walls. I called Pestec and told them I thought it may be rat mites instead of bed bugs, so they put me in touch with Ben. He came out and took a look around the house (attic, 1st floor, 2nd floor, basement, outside perimeter). Low and behold, there was a dead rat under the stairs. He removed that, and took some samples of the mites we found on the hamster (we had already cleaned his cage and taken him to the Tri-Valley Animal Emergency Center in Dublin, where they gave us anti-parasite medicine that had him free of mites in a few days). Ben said the best way to get rid of the mites was to remove the source: the rats. So we agreed to pay for the trapping services. He came out and put traps in the attic, basement, and under the stairs where we found the rat poop. When he returned in a week, we had 5 dead rats in the basement and crawl space, mostly on sticky traps. Ben suited up and explored the entire crawl space perimeter to find their source of entry. He found an opening in a corner of the house, where there were 2 old rat skeletons nearby. Ben removed all the dead rats, and the next day I went and took a closer look. You could see the earth pulled away on the outside of the opening. They actually burrowed a tunnel under the foundation footing (some of the earth had eroded away naturally I suppose). So I blocked that opening with some heavy bricks, and will be filling it with concrete soon. A week later, there were no more rats caught in our traps, and no new droppings. I think we found the source of our problem. My wife's sister is no longer getting bit. Ben left some monitor traps on the floor, and I think maybe there were just 2 or 3 mites on them over a period of weeks (hard to tell with your eyes). During all of this, Ben was incredibly helpful, adventurous, accommodating, and always available by phone. Pestec is clearly busy with customer calls, and could probably increase their staffing. But Ben called us in advance of any appointment changes, and always made sure we were okay with the change. read more

I had a bedbug problem in a single studio apartment, and treatment was mostly confined to a room about 10 by 11 feet square. It is $300 to have an initial inspection, with trained dogs that took about 40 minutes.. They inspected the unit with the problem and 2 units of equal size that shared walls and ceilings with the problem unit. No bugs were found in the adjacent units. It was $2,200 additional for the treatment regimen prescribed, which involved encasing one mattress, putting plastic dishes around the feet of the bed to keep bugs from climbing, steam cleaning room and vacuuming, and setting up sticky traps (nontoxic, they just trap bugs that walk across). They also used a non-toxic dust around the baseboards and inside switch and plug boxes in the walls. This initial treatment took 2 and a quarter hours. It was followed by 7 bi-weekly visits. They send 2 people most times, though it seems like overkill in a case like this where there is only one room to examine. However, they're obviously on a daily schedule and must need to have 2 people in case they also have bigger jobs that day. Total time they spent on the treatment and inspections, just short of 7 hours over 4 months. The staff is friendly and helpful, the technicians competent and informative. Customer service and communication excellent. I would give them a higher rating, but for the cost, which seemed really excessive for the relatively tiny area that was treated and inspected. The amount of nontoxic oils and dust they used, as well as the other supplies, were pretty minimal. You have to pay $300 to get an estimate. At that point, if you don't like the estimate you have to find someone else to come out and give you a different one, which takes more time and (presumably) money, as I'm guessing most exterminators charge for the initial inspection and estimate. In a situation like mine, the tenants of the non-infested units are freaking out, so the exterminator kind of has you where they want you at this point and shopping around is problematic. read more

I recently discovered some small bugs in a kitchen drawer. After reading several very positive comments about Pestec on Yelp, I called the company. The very friendly staff person who answered the phone offered to have one of their technicians try to identify the type of pest. She said they would do this for free if I could bring in a sample . I put a sample bug in a ziplock bag and brought it to their office. Two of the Pestec technicians immediately identify the pest as a harmless type and gave simple specific easy suggestions on the best way to eradicate. I followed their advice and the pest problem quickly went away. Pestec deserves a 5-star rating: the staff Is smart, honest and attentive, even when offering free advice! read more

They came and helped getting rid of bed bugs in two rooms at my work - Maitri Compassionate Care. First two of their staff members come over and inspected few of the rooms and they confirmed our suspicion. Then they came over with their big heaters and fans and heated the two room to a temperature that the bugs would not survive. All their staff was super professional, punctual and great to work with! If I ever have bed bug problem again...Pestec is the first company I will contact! read more

UPDATE from my previous review: I am happy to report the billing problem has been resolved, though it took too long. A few weeks after my initial rejection of their bogus bill, I received a second bill for a lesser amount, but with no explanation of whether this was an attempt to meet me in the middle or yet another mystery bill. So I wrote them again on March 1, in a somewhat more threatening tone. And then... silence, until March 30, when I get a call from them telling me they'd credited my account some weeks ago, I didn't owe anything, and apologizing for failing to have communicated. And then he asked if I could take down or modify my review on Yelp! I said I'd be happy to, provided they sent me verification in writing that my balance was indeed zero. I received said documentation today -- dated March 10 but mailed March 30. Bottom line: I have no complaints about the service, but their billing remains a puzzle to me. I still think it's a good idea to make sure they spell out everything in writing so there are no ambiguities. While I have no grievance against them at this point, the 2 months of frustration I experienced leave me unwilling to give them a 3rd star. read more

I can't recommend Pestec highly enough. We had a biting insect problem. We were getting bitten daily by something we couldn't see - stressful and frustrating. Pestec and a number of other companies I enquired with thought the cause could be rat mites. Pestec sent their rat and insect specialists and after finding rat evidence and leaving insect monitors were able to confirm that rat mites were the source of the bites. Whilst another company would have been happy to sign us up to a year's contract of chemical spraying Pestec were adamant that we needed to remove the source of the mites, i.e. the rats. They located holes in our basement walls and signs of rats around the property. Getting rid of rat mites is not an easy fix and took time, but what Pestec recommended was absolutely the way to go. They carried out rat trapping, located a nest in the crawl spaces of the basement and dusted pesticide in key points (which is safer than spraying particularly as we have a newborn) to kill rat mites whilst the rats were being caught. We then had the basement holes where rats can get in closed up. All of the staff at Pestec were so helpful. Jessica in the office always took the time to answer my many questions when I was trying to figure out what the hell was happening. Luis, Pestec's CEO, also visited. He is a real expert and genuinely cares about helping people solve pest problems. When I had to deal with SF City and County re. rat issues in a neighbouring property I mentioned we were working with Pestec and I believe they're one of their suggested vendors. read more

Early this fall, we saw a rat in the vines around our house and called Pestec. We had been getting bites that we suspected were rat mite bites, and knew from previous experience that the only way to get rid of rats is to keep them from getting into the house, or near it. They were nice enough on the phone and in person, but very hard to get a hold of (and no-showed for at least one appointment!) When they came out, they found evidence of rats in the basement and agreed to do a couple of things: 1. seal off the deck and areas rats might be getting access into the basement and 2. set and check traps a couple of times. They charged us for the initial visit and took a deposit on future visits for sealing up the house and setting traps. It's now February, and --while they came once more to check the traps (empty of both bait and rats), they are impossible to get in touch with. No sealing has been done and our rats and bites are back... Now we're out a significant amount of money with no change in our rat situation at all (other than a confirmation that there are rats)... and back to square one about solving the problem. read more

I just wanted to warn everyone before hiring this company. The technician who came over clearly was not knowledgable in pest control. Nothing was suggested except baits and on top of that $600+ was quoted to ONLY place the baits and take the pests out, should they get trapped. I thought they were poorly equipped with knowledge as to how to deal with various issues and only wanted to charge us. I am glad I did not go with this company. I can place baits on my own, but I called the professionals for an inspection and they did not deliver. Since then, I found another company that was leaps and bounds so much better and much cheaper. read more

I give them 5 stars for: * excellent, friendly, professional service * highly knowledgable and willing to explain their services in detail * effective results to the root of the underlying problem (so it won't re-occur) * fair and reasonable in price * "truly green" (not "green-washed") and sustainable in their integrated pest management techniques. Here's our experience: My older parents had an uncommon and serious problem with biting mites that showed up as an occasional rash, that would eventually go away with topical medication from the dermatologist. Only many months later, after several cycles of rash/medication/relief did we learn that invisible biting mites were suspected...but how to know for sure? The typical approach appeared to be spraying toxic substances throughout the home somewhat indiscriminately, escalating the toxins and intensity "as needed..." This seemed to be a very irresponsible and potentially hazardous approach, but virtually every exterminator proposed this approach when pressed. Because of my general concern about dangerous substances used by pest control companies, the unknown effects they may have on humans and the environment, enhanced by the fact that we have a young toddler that often visits my parent's home...this was not acceptable to my family. Through substantial research, contacting a venerable (30 yr old) bay area organization called BIRC (Bio-Integral Resource Center www.birc.org) that specializes in "finding non-toxic and least-toxic, integrated pest management (IPM) solutions to urban and agricultural pest problems;" I learned that most extermination companies offered useless "guarantees" where they come out repeatedly if necessary and spray increasingly toxic/risky stuff until the mites go away (or until you give up). Louis Agurto of PesTec was highly recommended. And all the other mainstream companies I spoke to recommended using an agent that my research indicated was commonly *misused* for mites and is essentially useless (works for fleas)...they would presumably have to come back and use the much more toxic stuff. Louis Agurto, the owner of Pestec and he and his son (Louis, Jr.) gave us several free phone consultations (no other company had nearly enough knowledge nor caring to deal with our less mainstream problem). PesTec educated us, helped us narrow down the problem with trapping/testing we could conduct ourselves, and then even asked us to send samples to them (as well as the health dept) for positive microscopic identification. They even told us how we could do it ourselves if we wanted, but we elected to hire them to do the job. When they came out, they were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We learned that birds/rats were suspected of hosting/carrying the mites, so Pestec did a very effective and reasonably priced rat "exclusion" effort (ie blocked any/all entrances rats might find into the basement, attic, walls, ducts, etc.). The project went very well, and they were absolutely correct in their assessment. We had Zero toxics sprayed in our home, and the problem was finally solved! Had we gone with any one of the other companies I had called, and I called quite a few, I'm sure we would have had ongoing problems, and toxics sprayed throughout our family home. I'm thankful we didn't go there. I later heard other good things about Pestec (their green ecology approach and eco-management techniques), and i learned that they lead an innovative initiative for sustainable eradication of west nile mosquito in SF using bike messengers instead of trucks to set/refill traps throughout the city. So I naturally assumed these guys were golden...but to my surprise when I checked Yelp when recommending them to our friend, some people were just slamming them! Why? I'm not saying that PesTec is the model of perfection, but I suspect a major problem is in people's expectations: Most people want a quick easy fix, and really don't care to look deeper into "minor details" like how exposure to highly toxic, poorly understood substances might affect their family in the years to come, or how these agents affect the environment. And some people are not willing to look into a pest problem to solve it at it's root, because it may take a little longer or may be a little more complicated than they would prefer. It's much easier (and profitable for mainstream pest companies) to just "call in an air strike", repeatedly without any real thought to the consequences, and avoid concerning oneself with the environmental and the yet unknown physiological effects this may have in the future... read more

Great. :( We paid them a small fortune and another pest inspector has to come out 2 weeks later. The new ones said that Pestec didn't even do the job! Pestec told us the only way to get rid of our wasps was to trap them in there, but they weren't trapped at all. The new inspector said he didn't see a sealed point and could see 2 open entry points (as could I). What is going on here? read more

I was getting bitten pretty much every night and suspected that it was bed bugs. After a few sleepless nights, I called out one company to do a hand/manual inspection, and they said it was just carpet beetles. I wanted a second opinion so after a few more sleepless nights, I called Pestec to do a canine inspection. From Day 1, the customer service was ON POINT. After that, each visit and interaction from Pestec was professional and courteous. Best of all, here we are 3 months later with no bed bugs! MIkail was amazing to correspond with for everything including setting up appointments, pricing, payment etc. Mikail responded quickly and efficiently to all my inquiries. So far Pestec has done a good job of getting rid of the outdoor rats that developed after PG&E did some gas line work near our house. Rickie has been prompt and courteous whenever I've had to talk with him. He put out 4 baited (non-poisonous) snap-trap bait stations in our backyard. Within a week two rats were eliminated. He comes by twice a month to dispose of the dead rats and to re-bait. The service is not cheap ($190/month) but it definitely seems to be working. Hopefully a month of service will be all that's needed. read more

BEDBUGS. I never thought it could happen to me.. and then it did. I found a bedbug in my coat during class. Despite my fervent hope that it had just wandered out of some crevice in the Science Building at City College, I returned home to find the telltale bloodstains on my sheets. And then I realized that I'd been itching and breaking out on my neck for the past six weeks. And then I proceeded to really freak out.. because as gross as crevice-dwelling vampire bugs living in my walls are, you know what's worse? Pesticide-resistant crevice-dwelling vampire superbugs that won't die. All that to say - I wanted an effective, insecticide-free exterminator. Enter Pestec. The office staff go the extra mile to educate you about bedbugs regardless of whether you book an appointment. Their inspector, Gabriel, was super calm and professional, and the bedbug-locating dog is *adorable*. Seriously. It turned out that the problem was relatively minor and confined to one room of the house, and Gabrial recommended a few inexpensive fixes to try before resorting to the significantly pricier heat treatment. These steps seem to have resolved the issue. I found the lack of upselling refreshing - particularly given that in my panicked state I would have gladly maxed out my credit card for a more aggressive treatment if he had recommended it. The company could have easily taken advantage, and they didn't - they set me up with a fix that was appropriate to the scale of the problem. Everyone I encountered at Pestec is friendly, professional, and truly dedicated to eliminating pests in an effective, eco-friendly manner. I hope I never have another bug issue, but if I do, Pestec will be first on my list. read more

I went with Pestec because their methodical approach to finding the bugs and killing them without harmful chemicals sounded better than the horror stories of multiple chemical sprays I had been hearing about. It starts with a seemingly expensive K-9 inspection, which to me was worth it since they can then target where the begbugs are hiding with steam and insecticidal dust, rather than spraying randomly throughout the room as other companies I talked to explained was the method. The Pestec company staff and owner are helpful, friendly, and skilled, and are not out to charge an arm and a leg. If you're worried about the price, consider that many people end up having to get chemicals applied 3-4 times because if the chemical spray doesn't actually touch the bugs, they don't die. So far, the treatments and traps have been working well - there may be some stealthy bugs or nymphs hanging around still, but I am pretty sure the problem is under control and I have had to deal with relatively little bagging of clothes and belongings, which of course is another aspect of the bedbug stuff that's so annoying. One caveat is that my infestation was relatively small and I caught it early, so I can only speak from that experience. In any case - good luck everyone! read more

I work as a Director of Facilities & Operations, managing multiple commercial properties. Over the years, I have come to realize that what separates great vendors from lackluster ones is not necessarily a vendor that gets it right every time. Things happen and go wrong from time to time. That's life. So, what makes for a great vendor, is that if they make a mistake, they own it and make it right. Pestec is not a great vendor. I had a large commercial building that would be unoccupied for a week. It was a great opportunity to have them do a mass-trapping. When the trapping was to begin, Pestec said they had a goof up and had no traps to lay out. They came back mid-week with the traps and we thus lost half of our trapping time to the blunder. I pointed out to them 5 days of trapping better than 2 and I had paid for 5. I politely asked for some sort of rebate to compensate for the loss of service. They declined, saying it still took them the same amount of labor hours. That's not my problem though. I paid 1000s of dollars for a service that was only partially delivered. i was very nice about the whole thing. Despite my best efforts, they refused to offer any discount and charged me an arm and a leg for half the service promised. This is not a good vendor. Typical shady contractor, they're a dime a dozen. Their rates are also insane. $250/hr for a pest control person? I could have hired a crew of skilled electricians to do the work for half the cost. Never again. read more

My experience with Pestec was short and sweet. They were able to talk us down from a mild panic about the possibility of bedbugs. They used logic to determine that we probably didn't have a problem, but offered the professional dog-sniffing approach if we were to find more evidence. This was not the try-to-scare-us-into-treatment approach that I was expecting, and for that reason these will be the first people I call if I do find more evidence of a problem. The five stars is for honesty and professionalism, as well as their green techniques, but to be fair I haven't actually had them do work. read more

If I could give Pestec zero stars, I would. I had hired them to solve a pest problem at my home in San Francisco. At first, they seemed responsive and concerned, but their over $2000 later my problem was still not solved. I ended up calling another provider, who solved my problem for under $250. I will be filing complaints with the BBB as well. read more

These guys are AMAZING! I called Pestec on Monday to inquire about their services, and just two days later Darrell & Anthony from Pestec were here to do the job! The apt had already been treated for the cockroaches by another company, but I was left with hundreds of dead cockroaches to clean up. I needed to get the apartment cleaned up for the next tenant but no cleaning company would agree to clean it until it was cleared of all dead roaches, eggs, and droppings. I'm so glad I called Pestec. Darrell and Anthony vacuumed the entire apartment and got rid of it all! They are efficient and precise, as well as kind and professional. They had the apt roach free in just two hours. I hardly recognized the apartment it was so clean! I will definitely be using them again. We were getting mysterious bites in our home. Zach of Pestec identified the problem as rat mites, found where the rates were entering, sealed up the house and dusted the crawl space. He trapped all the rats and none have come into our house since. Sans rats, the rat mites died off and for the first time in six months we're not getting bitten. This company is a joke, they do not return your phone calls in a reasonable amount of time, their reps are unprofessional and they try to bill you for their "time". I would not recommend their services as I found myself in quite a situation when they refused to treat because they did not have "proof" that the pest exsisted while the problem persisted and the pests multiplied...then they sent me bills. It was cheaper to find a professional company that to treat the problem, then have them come out for "inspections". read more

(Fortunately), not having had to deal with a rodent problem previously, I had Pestec come out to provide a remedy. Patrick along with tech Valentin did a thorough investigation, educated me about what was going on and how to address it, and set about resolving my issue. Valentin made two follow-up trips and was extremely thorough and professional. Problem solved, a great experience with a great outfit that remedied an undesirable situation. I highly recommend Pestec. One heads-up - I live in Novato and my town is beyond Pestec's footprint, so to speak, so I incurred a travel charge (which was well worth it). Pestec scheduled my two follow-up visits to coincide with other Marin calls and, in doing so, it saved me travel charges for those two visits.
