Subject: Formal Complaint -- Service at Beef O'Brady's 889 E Bloomingdale Ave Brandon, Fl 33511 Dear Manager, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the service I received at the Beef O'Brady's on Bloomingdale on October 07, 2025. The server/bartender brought her son to the workplace and allowed him to be present in the service area, which I found inappropriate and disruptive. The server/bartender failed to acknowledge me in a timely manner. As a result of her failing to check with kitchen my online entree was served cold after a prolonged delay. I requested malt vinegar for fish and chips and and was told that she didn't have packets, I ask if she could put some in a carry out cup, instead I was handed a nearly empty bottle of malt vinegar to take with me. She said it was easier than pouring it in a cup. Additionally the burger was ordered with "No Cheese" as indicated on the receipt, but was prepared with provolone cheese. Stopped in yesterday 8.14.25. Stood at hostess stand several minutes. It was not full and had several empty tables. We saw 2 waitresses. Made eye contact with both. Neither approached or offered the "be with you in a moment" the bartender was taking care of those at the bar. Not sure why you are asked to wait to be seated if there is no one to seat you. Typically if hostess is on break, in the back, or something else, a member of the wait staff will acknowledge you as we will be right with you. I don't care for the that's not my job attitude. So adding these things together usually equals downhill from there, as "not my job" is rarely a good atmosphere. So, that said we ended up with ok subs from Firehouse just a couple blocks down. read more

I like this location a lot. I rarely if ever have to wait long for my food to come, there's a little arcade to keep the kids busy (bring a few quarters), servers are always friendly and it's clean and tidy. The restrooms are kept clean as well in my experience. Some other family sports bars play goofy videos for the kids alongside sports but I only saw sports on the many TVs. Beef O Brady's delivers a great family pub atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday which had two kids burger meals at about $7! We all ate any leftovers later or the next day so you know the food is good. The side of fries was $3.99 for a very very small portion two fries were curley the rest straight. The wings had no flavor and were not seasoned at all and they were Buffalo. Our party of 19 reserved only an hour in advance, and the staff made space for us. They even changed the games on the TVs to accommodate our party. Ambience was great. In Tampa area for business, and I suddenly remember going to Beef O Brady's when visiting family. We tried this location which was a little further away because it had better reviews that the other location we were closer to. Boy, am I glad we decided to visit. Upon entering the restaurant, there was sanitizer and everyone had on a mask. We were immediately seated and asked about drinks. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and it was extremely clean. When ordering food, I ordered the wing basket for 12.99. It included 8 traditional wings and fries (I opted for curly). I went with the best flavor- spicy garlic mixed with lemon pepper well coated. Marcus got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with curly fries. Our food came in no time, but our waiter, Gwen, apologized for the delay. If food comes quicker than our's came, this business deserves recognition. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Yes, I am that spouse that orders my food and eats some of the man's food as well lol. I generally don't dine in "casual'" restaurants or sports bars, But, on a rainy Saturday, my wife and I felt like just some simple, basic food and Beef O'Btady's nearby offered the appropriate choices on its menu. We ordered for take out. A great mistake! Rarely have I seen food that looked acceptable but which was inedible. The simple base of two lettuces, some mashed up tomatoes and cheddar cheese seemed alright, but the added protein of grilled chicken and mushrooms, delivered in its own container so as to separate it from the cold base, was so salty as to be beyond inedible into the realm of painful to place in the mouth. Were we dining in, this dish would have gone directly back to the kitchen with an invitation to a serious conversation with the manager. On a rainy, dank, afternoon, I was not about to return it a couple of miles. Underseasoned food can always be adjusted once it reaches the table; this disgusting mess could not be. Such a degree of sodium cannot be healthy for anyone. I would consider Beef O'Brady's as simply a health hazard! read more

This is a family restaurant but their bar has guests that are becoming belligerent and cussing and throwing the F bomb every other word with no consideration for other guests. When we asked the server to ask their guests to tone it down, they tell their guests we complained and then one of them came out to the parking lot yelling "this is a x bar". I've only been to one other Beef O'Brady's and that was the original location on Kings Avenue. So, I don't have a whole lot of experience with this chain sports bar. All I can say is that this location is way better than the other. It's more modern, open, well-lighted, clean, and refreshing. The service was fantastic (dine-in and takeout). My first visit was for a takeout order of wings. I got an order of 10 chicken wings with 2 different flavors. I got lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. It was served hot and fresh, and it was still warm when I got home. They give you celery and a choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing. It was great! No complaints whatsoever from my mother who devoured them. We like both flavors. Last night's visit was for dinner. I knew it was Surf and Turf Friday, and that's what I had on my mind. Melissa was our server and she was fantastic! All of the staff were friendly and sincerely wanted to know if we liked our experience. We started off with a cocktail. I decided to try the Oh My Mai Tai. It was so tasty and refreshing. The juices blended well together. It was a little tangy which I like. I typically prefer Bacardi but the Cruzan rum complimented the citrus blend very well. I'd order it again. I was also blown away with the new menu items. This location serves more than any other. It has a large variety of items that are very affordable. I think the most expensive item is their Cowboy Rib Eye which was in the $24.99 range. They also had some great healthy options such as zucchini. The zucchini had a very good seasoning and appeared to be grilled. It was a large side dish. The seasoned rice that I chose was a little on the salty side but was good. The sirloin was smaller than I expected because the picture made it look bigger. Then again, it was the $12.99 Friday special which was a very good deal. It was cooked perfectly and had about 9 or 10 grilled shrimp. You can get them fried or grilled. You can also choose a seasoning. I got lemon pepper. The whole meal was very filling. My mother had the chicken wing basket with Kentucky Bourbon sauce. She got zucchini (instead of fries) and coleslaw. She ate about 6 of them, and I helped her with the rest. We really do love their wings. We were happy with the whole experience. I'm actually quite happy to see a sports bar again at Bloomingdale Square. We haven't had one since the time Cherry's closed. The space that Beef O'Brady's occupies is larger and further away from the parking lot. They have an outdoor seating area too. There's lots of parking, but you may have to park further out. I did notice that there aren't many available spaces near that corner of the plaza anymore since the time they opened. That's probably the only negative. Nevertheless, this Beef's location still gets 5 stars from me. read more

Portions are small. Same old stuff only smaller. Chicken wings are still good. I just don't like this location.

We we there for dinner last night, food was great, seems like a fun place to go to watch a game on on of your many TV's. Our server was Katie, she was excellent very attentive and personable, never had to ask for a refill she was on top of everything . She has a smile and personality that lit up the room. 2.5 isn't an option... We came to beef's on a whim. Actually haven't been to one in over a decade. It was about 1pm. Upon walking in, the place looked clean and inviting. A person at the bar greeted us and told us to sit anywhere. We did, and the same employee came to check on us about ten minutes later. She asked if we wanted anything to drink and we opted to look at the menu first. She came back a few minutes later, and we ordered two drinks and a few wings, as an appetizer. Our drinks came, and one of the drinks looked nothing like we thought it should, nor did it taste the way it was described. It wasn't good at all. When the wings came, I asked the server about the drink (I asked if the drink should have some kind of punch flavor, and color, since it was a fruit stand. It was opaque, and the flavors it was supposed to have seemed non existent. She looked at the menu, as I explained, and actually said, "that's not the recipe we use"). My wife opted to not get a different beverage. We ordered food and my 5 cheese burger was good, my wife thought her bbq bacon burger was just ok, and our curly fries seemed like they'd been sitting under a heater/lamp all day. When I asked for the check, I assumed that the bad drink would have been taken off. The server repeated that the recipe she used, was not what was on the menu, so of course I was wondering why it was served without letting us know? Regardless, we asked to have it removed, and she said that she would ask to see what could be done. She came back, seemingly annoyed, as she just put the check on the table and said "here you go", or something to that effect. No apologies or concern that the wrong drink is being served. I love visiting brand new restaurants, especially chains, because not only is everything fresh and spiffy clean, but the food is usually on point due to all of the managers working to make everything runs smoothly. This was definitely the case when I took the kids up to Beef O'Brady's grand opening of their new restaurant in the Bloomingdale plaza. If you didn't know already, Beef's is the quintessential family sports bar, with wall to wall big screen HD TV's and a great menu that has a ton of options that will make everyone happy. This particular location replaces the old Beef's that was literally a half mile away down Bell Shoals, and in great proximity to my house. We visited the second day from opening, so there was an over abundance of wait staff and management patrolling around, which made things a little hectic with so many different folks coming over to check on us, but was understandable as I'm sure they wanted everyone and everything perfect. Since we have become regulars to the Beef's family, we all ordered our staples which included a burger for me and boneless chicken wings for the kids. We also ordered an appetizer of chips and queso since we were starving. As expected everything came out quickly and perfect, which was a little surprising because the restaurant was absolutely jam packed (figured there might be a slight wait with so many people inside). The food was hot and delicious, and all of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. On Tuesdays I always oreder the blacken fish tacos which they used to be awesome now I never know what they will be missing half the ingredients and or cold.
