What a disappointment! I've dined at this Beef's several times in the past, but the last two experience have been abysmal. This place seems to be going downhill...and fast. Visited on a Tuesday night (Kids eat free night) and it wasn't very busy. However, after we were seated it took a good 5 minutes to be acknowledged. They would not honor cards I had for free draft beers in combination with the kids eat free, but it took another 10 minutes to have a manager come and explain this to us. Fast forward to us finally getting to order food. Waitress comes to table to ask if we need more time. Picture this: 5 year old playing with stack of 4 menus and everyone else twiddling their thumbs. You think we're ready to order? Uh, yeah. Food took forever. Food was sub-par. Totally unimpressed. I got the club wrap after sampling it at a recent Yelp event and it being delicous. It was meh. The rest of my party got the buffalo chicken wrap (yuck), grilled cheese, and macaroni and cheese. Luckily you can't mess up the kid orders. Took another decade to get our check, and then she walked away before I could hand her my credit card which I already had out on the table. Another 10 minutes passes and she gets my card. I was so ready to get out of that place. It will be a good while before I step foot in a Beef O' Brady's. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Sad, because I know they all aren't this horrible. But the memory of tonight makes me shudder. read more

I usually don't review chain restaurants since everyone's already got their own opinion on it, but I just NEED to get this out. Walking in, I told the hostess/server that we have a party of 10. I swear she didn't say a word, but grabbed menus, and plopped them on a table, then went on to attend to another table. I was so confused. I wasn't sure if that was our table or she was just putting the menus down for a sec to help her other customers or what. So I just stood there and waited until she finally came back up to the front and said, "I put menus down here on this table." Uhh, TERRIBLE SERVICE. Fortunately, she wasn't our actual server. That girl was friendlier and better at her job. However, we did wait a while to order, which would make it seem the place was busy, but it really wasn't. Just understaffed, I guess. The food at Beef's is always the same. My lemon pepper wings were tasty, but it doesn't make up for the horrible first impression. I can get wings anywhere else. read more

THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE! Omg never ever again.We went in at 530 and it wasn't even crowded on a saturday night that should have been our 1st clue to get out but no we sat down since no one came to seat us .Finally a server came and she was really great but food was beyond horrible.We ordered a pitcher of bud light and ended up waiting for them to refill the keg no biggie so we ordered 8 teriyaki wings extra extra extra crispy we literally said burn them because if they are slimy we will send back.Well 15min later slimy wings came out we sent them back and ordered a bbq burger medium with cole slaw instead of fries and hubby ordered the garlic toasted beef sandwich with curly fries.15 minutes later a well done burger with undercooked bacon come out no bbq sauce or onion ring on it with fries and hubby sandwich had no dip sauce and very little meat and too salty to even eat and the replacement wings were even less cooked.We left everything and was still charged for the sandwiches and beer but they took off the wings.They should have just charged for the beer since the food was inedible and left on the table how bad this place has gotten how is it still open? this place i have been going to for the last few years, for the last few months i have seen that the beefs has been updating and is clean and looking top notch. the wings and pizza are new to the store and i love them, the wings have been cooked different than the past, I can tell, so i asked, the bartender told me that the old owner was gone and now the new owners have been there since November, i can see that the progress is paying off. I was concerned about all the bad reviews that initially popped up when I yelped for Beef O'Brady's, as I've been a "Beefs" fan for some years and have NEVER had a bad experience there. The Beefs I visited for the first time in Tampa was great. It was early evening and the place was about 75% full. We were seated at a booth in less than a minute. It's probably the wrong thing to note, but 3 out of 4 of the young waitresses were gorgeous. Wearing tight, black-and-white striped referee shirts that bulged in the right places and little black short-shorts, they spelled certain (or sudden) death for the boyfriend or husband with wandering eyes. Despite her incredible looks (even the floor manager, dressed in all-white, was a Valhallan goddess) our YOUNG waitress was kind and competent and did not act coy or seductive, which was good, because at the end of time it's all about the wings; I love them and "Beefs" does them better than the breastaurants. Non-breaded and sold in powers of 8, Beefs has expanded its selection of wing flavors. We ordered 24, eight each of garlic Parmesan, medium wing sauce and a dry rub based on the recipe of one of those beloved fat-a$$ed Cajun chefs. We ordered an app of curly fries that came out hot and fast, and the wings followed soon after, dangerously hot and delicious. Ours were "bone-in", of a good size and had plenty of meat on them. Waitress brought us a sample of 'nuclear' sauce. Mildly painful and spicy, it was also extremely flavorful, which a lot of super-hot sauces forget to be. (Only one complaint other than heartache of leaving Waitress. As Beefs is a sports-themed establishment, there be TVs on every wall AND in every corner, including over the sink in the john. The problem was the sound on the biggest screen in the dining area was ON, and LOUD). Be sure to check out the Beef's website. Went there last night and the food was not good, nor was the service, one party ordered shrimp and fries, the other person ordered steak and mash potatoes, and I ordered a vegetable rice bowl. Well the shrimp order had cold fries, the steak ordered had cold mash potatoes, and mine came out with meat in it, I observe lent and I do not eat meat on Fridays, they took the other two orders and instead of warming up just the potatoes, they warmed up the whole plate, which made both the steak and shrimp over cooked. We asked politely if we could watch the event on one tv (mind you several televisions were showing the same thing and the place was empty). We were told "well we're not going to put it" after I had explained it was a basic television channel. This used to be my "go-to" place for a dinner out. I've been here many times over the 10 years I've lived in Wesley Chapel. I still went while more restaurants came into the area since it was close to home and the food was decent. However, my recent visit will be my last. I was lured in with a rare coupon in the mail. We ordered food and beer, but still enough to qualify to use the coupon. I gave the waitress my coupon and credit card. About 15 minutes go by and I finally ask for my credit card back. She brings my receipt and card back and I that she didn't take off the coupon. I pointed this out and she said she'll take care of it. Another 10 minutes go by. Finally the manager on duty comes to our table and tells me I need to order a coke or something to use the coupon. I explained to her that was not required to use the $3 off 15 coupon, but whatever, I'll take a coke for the road. A few minutes later she brings me another bill back with 3 cokes and other food on it! After checking my credit card app, I saw the charge for the menu price of the food and beer. I decided I had enough fun for the night and walked out. I get it... don't use coupons, we won't honor them anyway. Total lack of competence. I put up with the occasional screwed up order or slow service over the years but this was just unbelievable. There's so many better options in WC/ New Tampa now. I've had wonderful meals from Beefs before however, this meal was unbearable. Chicken was odd textured (mand over seasoned and the steamed broccoli had a chemical taste. Fish was greasy and bland. The white sangria was a waste of 7 dollars; it was a combination of canned fruit and cheap liquor. I highly advise other locations. read more

Only reason I signed up for yelp was to write this review. The service at this place is awful!! They didn't even realize we were waiting to be seated . Our waitress got the order wrong. They never came by to see if we needed anything and didn't even bring appetizer out. I had to get up and get bar tender to get me refill for my son's dr pepper and to also get the waitress from the back so I could pay for the worst dinner ever experience . Will never go back. This place advertise it is family sports bar but waitress only interested in servicing the male customers . Guess she thought I was not going to tip her cause I went in there with kids . Came in on a Saturday night to order some take out to bring home ahead of the big fight and ordered nachos and an appetizer sampler. For a restaurant that wasn't very busy, it took about 25-30 minutes for the food (2 orders) to be ready. The steak in the steak nachos tasted like they were drenched in salt water for days and the sampler wasn't very appetizing at all. The first time I went there a couple weeks ago, several empty tables had not been bused rendering a third of the place unusable. Then, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. I can't tell the number of good times we've had at this place over the years. It's our home town bar. We love all the girls and they always take good care of us. Great draft beers selection (30+) including craft beers from Cigar City and others. Nice bar area and I love the power outlets under the bar to charge your iPhone. It's a typical Beefs - Neither impressed nor was it so bad I would avoid at all costs. It doesn't feel like it's a very clean place right now though. I think the dark decor of the place makes it feel that way and allows staff to get away with minimal effort cleaning. This was my first time visiting and I must say I was impressed. I always thought of Beef's as more of a pub than a restaurant, but the atmosphere was actually better than I expected. The server was friendly and attentive. The prices and portions were decent. The menu had a good selection and the food was tasty. They had Strong Bow apple cider on tap which is now a new favorite for me. I enjoyed the experience and will give other locations a try. read more

Always great service and is the "cheers," of the neighborhood. The food is always good and they always have some sort of deal through out the week. I definitely believe that you should give it a shot. Especially if you're a fan of beer. They now have over 30 beers on tap! Service was slow as I've come to expect at this location. It was advertised as burger night, so I ordered a burger off the menu. After receiving the check I was told that the burger night only qualified on the build your own burger not the burgers off the menu. Owner came and talked to us but didn't fix the problem or do anything. Bathrooms were dirty, I refuse to change my son on their changing table because of the cleanliness. Went there on Saturday with my husband, sister and brother in law. The waitress was terrible. As soon as we sat down she wanted our order. She never asked if we wanted appetizers. My husband ordered the fish entree. It was just a piece of white fish on a plate, no garnish,no sides just the fish. He did get coleslaw and ordered a side salad. When we finished our meal, we were not offered coffee or dessert. It seemed like she was pushing us out the door the whole time we were there.
