Would not allow someone with nails like this to handle my food or drinks. Beyond disgusting and likely a health violation.

Would not allow someone with nails like this to handle my food or drinks. Likely a health violation, management needs to consider this when hiring. Clean hands over stripper nails that are nothing but bacteria traps. Just gross.

3.5 stars for me. But I've allowed my four wonderful graduating 8th graders to dictate the stars. This Beef's location is convenient; it's just off Bruce B. Downs in the Shoppes of New Tampa-- a few feet down from Play It Again Sports. Unlock the 20% Check-in offer to save on your bill. The menu is EXTENSIVE-- 12 pages of beverages; appetizers; wings; Angus burgers; salads; soups; tacos; bowls; wraps; fish; steak; ribs; Kids Combos (for age 12 & under); & more! There's even deliciously lightly sweet Waffle Fries that you'll be able to dip in the accompanying caramel & dark chocolate. These $4.99 dessert fries @ 810 calories were the BOMB! See pics! (Each order is plenty for two adults, so plan to share.) A $4.99 Lava Cake is also available. My Teriyaki wings were very good. The price was not so good-- $9.99 for six or $13.99 for ten. Fifteen wing flavors were offered (in order of spice level): Atomic; Hot; Nashville Hot; Spicy Garlic; Blackened; Medium; Beef's Signature Buffalo; Sweet Jalapeño; Lemon Pepper; Boom Boom; Mild; Sweet Thai Chili; Teriyaki; Honey BBQ; & Garlic Parmesean. Three of my kids ordered the boneless wings in two different flavors; not one was impressed by them. (I tried boneless @ another Beef's location two years ago & was also not impressed-- I tossed them.) However, the Onion Rings were VERY well received, as were the Curly Fries. (They scoffed up the rings so quickly, I missed my opportunity to take a pic:) Our service was very good except that our waitress didn't remove our dirty appetizer, entree, & side plates until we were finishing up the desserts. There are two claw machines for kids-- 50 cents per attempt; one was not working upon our visit. There's also a very large gumball machine-- see pic. The bar has three overhead TVs-- 21 wall TVs overall. The dining room was clean w/ lots of tables & booths, but no booth that would hold more than 4 adults. A great place for juvenile sports teams to gather; birthdays parties (although a few old school pinball type games would be welcomed); retirement parties; girls night out; & a nice place, of course, for sports fans to view athletic events. A non drinker, I'll probably not return here on my own accord, but it's quite likely I'll return w/ next year's graduating students. My kids enjoyed Beef's... just not the boneless wings:)

    Not a grilled fish

I'm sorry I ordered a grilled fish salad on the menu but I got what tasted like last nights fish and chips fish so I ask the nice server about why I got a fish filet breaded? Oh no that's butter I don't cook so the scheduled said it's butter from the grill. Ah no sadly sucked bad experience shame on management this place needs an overhaul

This was my first time trying German food, and Mr. Dunderbak's was a great introduction…read more I ordered the Jägerschnitzel with veal, which is a herb-breaded Wiener schnitzel topped with a rich hunter gravy. The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

The atmosphere is welcoming and the decor is classic German kitsch. However, my visit to the deli…read morewas disappointing. I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.
