Had dinner here last night, food was bad. At the table we had the chicken fried steak, grilled chicken breast and two steaks. The steaks were o.k., but I've had alot better locally. The chicken was under-cooked and rubbery. The chicken fried steak had no flavor. The facility is nice and big, but gets pretty hot in the afternoon. It didn't seem like the management was too concerned with the mask mandate because all of the employees except the bus boy and food runner were not wearing masks. Initially our waitress had one on when she took our order, but after that it was removed. Its concerning to see a restaurant in an area that has had over 700% increase since June in Virus cases not enforce the mask mandate for their employees. I would not eat here again. read more

Omg severely disappointed. Have heard so much about how this is supposed to be a great place. Went there with my work and they paid for whatever we wanted to eat. So I figured go big or go home. I'm only giving one star because I can't give zero stars. Absolutely horrible service, the only staff we saw were high school students. It was the most BLAND TASTELESS food ever for a steak house. I don't even think salt and pepper were used at all and that's the bare minimum of seasonings...We ordered food to go and they completely forgot one of the entrees causing us to wait an additional 35 minutes. Everyone ordered different entrees and appetizers and everything was disappointing to say the least. The chicken fried steak was TINY for the price and had absolutely no flavor. Best steakhouse ever! Their reasonable prices are the first best thing and makes the amazing food even better. We have only eaten in once due to covid and only because it was my grandson's birthday. I swore I wouldn't go until the salad bar was opened back up, but gave in for him :) However.. We have ordered to go more times than I can count. It really amazes me to hear people say their food has been cold, because even getting ours to go it has always still been warm by the time we get it home. I haven't had anything that I wouldn't have again. In fact, they have the best chicken fried steak I have had in my whole life. It is thick and not too much breading and has amazing flavor. We have had the KC Steak, the steak trimmings and both were delicious and cooked to order (medium rare.. more on the rare side to perfection!!) Their veggies... green beans are "skinny ones" cooked with bacon and taste amazing. Their grilled zucchini is delicious. Their mashed potatoes are fresh and great. Again, no salad bar, but the side salads are fresh and taste great! They make their own cheese sticks, so the cheese is cut thick so after they are battered and fried the cheese hasn't disappeared.. they are amazing too! I keep saying I'm going to try that butterfinger pie, but I'm always so stuffed... My DIL was our server, so of course we had great service, but even when she was busy, there were a couple of others that would come check to see if we needed drinks or anything. My husband and I have heard great things about this restaurant so we decided to give it a go. our steaks were not at all cooked how we asked so they were sent back. just for us to get more overcooked steak, the second time. the mashed potatoes and fries were cold on both plates. The water cups are so old and cracked. my silverware smelt gross, which made me lose my appetite. and the potato soup just tasted like unflavored starch. Unfortunately it's only about 3 degrees cooler inside than it is outside. The people are friendly but the served me the coldest chicken fried I've ever had. It was awful. We came in on opening day after much anticipation from following your process on Facebook! We were not disappointed. Wait staff was great! we had Remi as a server and he was quick with our needs and made great recommendations. Very knowledgeable on the menu. We had a 8oz steak and sweet potato fries. portions were fantastic and the flavor was amazing. Came with unlimited trips to salad bar and 2 different types of soups. We had been waiting for a new and better steakhouse on Weatherford. Well, it's here. Beefmasters is not fancy nor is or a quiet romantic date night. What it is, is a darn good steakhouse. Plain and simple. That's what matters. The seasoning was perfection and they cooked it to order Which is hard to find. We had the jalapeno peppers, great taste and spicy! Had lunch there today. It was a little difficult to focus on the food with the noise level. We often meet our son for lunch on Sunday to catch up with him. We could barely have a conversation. We were yelling at each other. The food was ok, I had chicken tenders and my son had chicken fried steak. We both said they needed more flavor. The batter was not crunchy and chicken had no flavor. Potato was very good. My husband had a pork chop. Part was tender and good but the edge was overcooked and dry. All food was hot and fresh. I went here once and left after waiting for 45 minutes outside in the cold then when I went back to the hostess and asked how much longer it would be I was told another 30 minutes. Mind you this same hostess told me originally 45 minutes wait time. They ha e no system whatsoever for wait list. Went tonight for the first time ( was super excited about a GOOD steak house) but was extremely disappointed! I don't even know where to begin! It took twelve minutes for a server to come to our table (i had to request one because all of them just walked passed us). We thought ok, maybe they are just all new because it was a pretty slow night. So we finally get a waitress, and order our drinks. She then had to send a different waitress back to our table to ID us (that's fine, i understand TABC standards). Then they had a third trip to our table to our table to ask what size of beer we wanted, even though we both ordered talls. Finally get our drinks and give them our order. So then we go to the salad bar. It was mediocre, but that wasn't a huge deal. Their soup of the day was listed as "creamy potato" which just tasted like beef base, and an extremely fatty ground beef, no potatoes or cream in sight. We sit down to eat our salads and the ranch was a hide disappointment, i am a proud Texan that loves a good ranch. Then the steak comes, the cook was fine, but there was zero seasoning on the steaks or the mashed potatoes. The cherry on the top? Our total was $69.23, the change she brought us?! $30 flat. Not $30.77 like it should have been. Apparently coins don't count as money? Hopefully they can work out the kinks. Went on a Saturday evening wait was 45min, not too bad and hostess was friendly and attentive. Once at the table our waiter was also attentive however our food was awful! 3 dinners, 2 appetizers and $90 later... Jalapeño poppers delivered cold, the fried pickles were good however they were both were delivered with sweet bitter ranch. 16oz MED rare ribeye was delivered cold, rare, 10oz of fat, very small potato and 4 pieces of soggy zucchini, streak flavor was decent. Fried steak strips and french fries were cold, soggy and without flavor. Sirloin steak requested medium was delivered medium rare, small potato, 3 pieces of soggy zucchini, again flavor was decent. Ordered ice tea sent back thought it was water, returned "freshly brewed" tea which tasted the exact same way. Very disappointed and will not be back. read more

Sooo, this was our second attempt to eat here. First time the wait was over an hour and we passed. Waited a few weeks (craving it) and tried again last night. Waited about 30 minutes and finally Yea!!! were seated. Hubby and I ordered steaks and boys ordered burgers. You get salad bar and a side so I selected broccoli and hubs selected mashed potatoes. Salad bar was great! Then our steaks and burgers came. Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. My broccoli was stone cold. Hubs mashed potatoes were lukewarm and the rolls were all cold. We were excited another Restaurant to pick from in Weatherford but were slightly disappointed in the Bar, the Bar was very very small and had FLOURESCENT lights, they could make a bar in back with low lights and some specialty cocktails with a Bar Menu, this would bring a much wider volume of people to the Restaurant, too just Family Friendly. Lots of people just want to stop in for appetizers and drinks, if they could add a little area in back for this, lots of money to be made in alcohol sales. read more

First time here tonight! Steaks were amazing. The baked potatoes were delicious. We had the sampler appetizer with the fried mushrooms, fried cheese and fried okra. It was all very good. The salad bar was ok, the soup was good. The ranch needs some work, if the ranch had been good this would have been a 5 star review!
