Instead of fixing it properly, she tells us we need to pay for another regular sandwich--even though that means we'd pay more than the actual cost of what we ordered because the giant sandwich is discounted from two regulars. I logically pointed that out, and she basically shrugged it off saying it was "only a few bucks" and shouldn't bother us. She never offered to void the transaction and re-ring it correctly, just expected us to eat the extra cost for their mistake. When I said we shouldn't have to do that, she actually accused me of being rude while re-emphasizing it was the cashier's first day. The cashier mistake wasn't the problem, her attitude and inability to rectify the situation was. Then, she grabbed our bag back, reaches in and takes back the second half of the giant sandwich (which she made as two regulars) and gives us the bag back like nothing happened. Unreal. So happy I had tipped 15% for such audacious and incompetent behavior.. It's unfortunate companies even hire employees which such ineptitude. I don't mind people making mistakes--especially new employees--but this wasn't about that. This was about terrible customer service, and we ended up with less food, paid more, and got blamed for it. We won't ever be back. Hope those few dollars were worth losing a regular customer.

Beefstro's had a half page ad in the Naples Daily News on Thursday June 4th, 2015 with a coupon for half off of a second item bought. I then went on Yelp to see its rating and it was 3 1/2 stars so we decided to check it out since I usually scout the places I am going to take my Neighborhood Dinner Group which varies in size up to 24 people at a time. When we arrived at the store I approached the waiter about the coupon and said it would be good for the whole table. I then showed the Yelp free drink to them and they had never heard of it. The boss (White hair and beard) came in and said he had not heard of it either but when shown it gave me 4 cup, one for each of my party and said he would go along with it. We ordered and ate the food, which I would rate at about a 3 star and when the bill came I noted that it only took one drink off and 1 discount on a sandwich. I complained and the girl said that is what they decided even though they had told me different before. The amount was only less than $10 but really left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

His dismissive attitude and unprofessional behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere, overshadowing any positive aspects of my experience. I give the owner credit he listened to the reviews we visited the new Beefstros on Livingston and all of my previous complaints had been resolved the employees were using gloves they didn't salt the fries and the new store has a gas French Fryer so the fries were cooked to perfection. If I was back in the suburbs of Chicago this new Beefstros would be one of my stops. read more

I walked into the store and was not greeted for almost 5 minutes. The employees were on their phones in the back. When i finally got to order, the food took forever. And then when i finally got my food, the way overpriced sandwich was absolutely disgusting and completely fell apart. Left this place still hungry and out 13 dollars. DO NOT EAT HERE. read more

In the past 2 months I have had Beefstro's for lunch about 6 times. The food is always excellent! If I am in the mood for a Chicago Dog or a good old Chicago beef sandwich, I can always count on Beefstro's to cook it up right. The staff is always pleasant and the restaurant is always clean. Never knew a hot dog without ketchup could be so good. The staff was nice and explained to me exactly what a Chicago-style "dawg" consists of and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. Also, the italian ice was the perfect treat on the way back to my grandparents. read more
