I wanted to stop by and try their food, since my pursuit of the best hot dog in Naples has been kind of disappointing. I ordered the Chicago dog with fries, hubs went for their Italian beef sandwich. The restaurant was small but clean with a pleasant staff and our orders arrived quickly. The Chicago dog was good and prepared with quality ingredients. The Italian beef sub with crispy fries, also got compliments. The menu is casual, but they offer enough variety to make you want to stop by again. Prices are not bad, about average for Naples. This restaurant is kind of hidden on the side of busy Pine Ridge, but it's worth taking a few minutes to find, you won't be disappointed when you're in the mood for a quick meal and good sandwich or hot dog.

We were here once before & I don't think we'd return. My husband had the beef sandwich & I had the Philly beef. His beef sandwich was rather skimpy on the beef especially when you're used to a Portillos beef, absolutely no comparison. The krinkle cut fries were fresh & hot, my Philly beef sandwich was ok but lacking any flavor, I chose provolone cheese, maybe that was the mistake? Note they tack on 4% if you use a credit card & have the machine that asks for a tip & you're ordering at the counter, guess the Naples residents don't pay attention to that.

Chicago Italian beef's have always been among my favorite foods, but the best I could find was about a 30 minute drive each way from my house. I was excited to find something closer to home, and generally impressed with Beefstro's. I found the location clean, welcoming and the staff very friendly. There was some limited seating via high tops and lower tables. I ordered the beef with motz, small fries and a Pepsi, which took about 10 minutes to cook. The cost was over $16 which seemed a little high but that's common in Naples. My first impression- the beef and fries looked great, but the portion was smaller than I expected. I did ask for a small fry, but most pieces seemed to be the very small end bits of a potato. The beef has less meat than I would expect, but the flavor was excellent! Aside from the smaller than expected portion for the cost, my only other dispoaintment if I am frustrated when expected to tip for quick service/fast food places. I certainly could say no, but if they are asking for a tip, I assume the staff are not paid well and feel obliged.

Beef sandwich was good but not enough on it. Fries that came with the sandwich were good. But again not enough of them. Then we get to the 4% charge for using a credit card. This is a mom and pop restaurant scam. Smart mom & pops don't do it and neither do corporate restaurants. Skimping on food and charging for Apple Pay will only hurt this business in the long run.

Being from Chicago, we stopped by Beefstros for some chicago style beef sandwiches. The workers were pleasant and the place was tidy. We ordered to go and upon opening our food, we were shocked by how skimpy they were with the meat. It also advertised grilled onions and peppers on sandwich. No peppers and maybe one onion. This is not chicago style. False advertising....we will not be back. Especially paying almost $11 for this sandwich. I'll goto Jimmie's in Bonita springs next time and will get a filled sandwich for same price. Disappointment.

So we went here for the first time and we will be back! Everything was fresh and hot, friendly service, nice music. The only problem we had was the amount of sauerkraut they put on the sandwiches. Don't get me wrong, the kraut was fresh and tangy, but it overpowered the taste of the meat on the reuben. It was all you tasted. Maybe next time, we will ask for a light serving. We do recommend

I don't know where all the positive reviews came from, but my order was smaller than expected and very bland. There was a theme of skimping heavily on all of the meats and toppings on both sandwiches, leaving me with about 80% bread. The chili was mostly flavorless, even with the added onions and cheese. Furthermore I requested plastic ware in my sealed bag and unfortunately didn't have any, having to use a ripped piece of Styrofoam as a spoon. I'm the furthest thing from a picky eater, but I'd rather have military rations or leftover McDonald's from the fridge. You guys can do better than this, give me a reason to value my life again. read more

Would not recommend. Food quality is a 2.5 out of 5 star I would say but it's not made Chicago style at all. "Chicago style" hotdogs are not genuine and taste like every non authentic fake Vienna beef. Imagine charging $8 for a hotdog. Preposterous. read more

Authentic Chicago!!! The Italian beef cannot be beat!! Great Chicago dogs and the Italian sausage is amazing. A lot more menu choices also available. The owner is friendly and loves what he does. Restaurant is clean and tables are spotless. Great for lunch, dinner or to go orders! read more

Nice to know there are several places in Naples to get a Great Hot Dog. No, they are not Nathans Famous or Sabrett All Beef Natural Casing Franks but since the New York New Jersey crowd thankfully traverse down I95 to SE FL, its easy to see why the Chicago Vienna Franks and Italian Beef found a comfortable home here in SW Fl following I75. That said, of the 3 or 4 Spots that feature Vienna Hotdogs on Poppyseed Buns, Beefstro`s is right up there. My only disappointment is they use Frozen Crinkle-Cut French Fries? Whats that all about. The "other" Chicago Hot Dog joint on Collier Blvd has a similar Menu (BUT) Hand-Cut Fresh French Fries. If your a Fry addict, look no further and then add your Hot Dog or Italian Beef or Polish Sausage to go with the Fries. read more

We ordered the Chicago Bull Dawg. That was a bad choice. Our dogs were grilled, not steamed or boiled. Traditional Chicago Style is a steamed/boiled Vienna beef dog. Putting a char on the hotdog is not authentic and changes the flavor of the sandwich. The employees were unapologetic. We will not go back to Beefstro's. read more

Absolutely delicious. This place is a MUST HAVE place to try. You will ABSOLUTELY not be disappointed. A few of us from my company are hooked on this place, I've eaten there 3 times this week, always consistent and have always pleased! Price is great and the food quality is even better. Trust me, get the number 2 with hots and sweets, out of this world! Will continue to come here whenever we can! I have now consumed about 20 beef sandwiches, and can say, I still have yet to be let down! read more

Excellent Italian beefs. The owner seems like a great guy too and brought out extra fries for my girls. Of course you have to compare it to Portillos.... and Beefstro's is just as good. Its that good. If you're used to Portillos in Chicago, then Beefstro's is something you should absolutely try and compare for yourself. I'm only sad that there is no good Italian Beef joint in Charleston, SC. :( read more

If you like sausage or hotdogs, you HAVE to try this place. The food is amazing. This might be my favorite place in Naples. And the owner is the most amazing friendly guy. You can see they love what they do. I am addicted to the Italian Sausage Philly. As a bonus, Dunkin Donuts is next door, and you can pick up their wifi. Go next door and get desert afterwards as a thank you. read more

Hands down the best Italian beef. And I'm not a huge fan of these kind of foods, but O M G this had to be the best thing I've tried in a very long time. The first time I tried it, I was taking a huge chance on it, not knowing if I was going to like it or not, but when I took that first bite, it was like an explosion of all these good flavors. Try the gourmet beef with cheese #2 and spice it up with hot peppers and sweet peppers. Out of this world flavor. Meat is marinated in au jus and is truly the best hot beef sandwich I've ever tasted. I don't know what happened in the past year but this place has gone down. The meat tasted bland, the juice had no flavor, the bread was cold. I even asked to dip it in the juice. The girl asked if I wanted the bread toasted!!! I'm from Chicago and you never toast a juicy beef. We found this place 2 yrs ago and they were great tasted just like a Chicago beef and now the owner is not around and there are 2 girls running it. Also when we were eating our less than average beef the girl behind the counter answered the phone and was rude to the customer and when she hung up she sounds very annoyed. Not something I wanted hear. It's too bad that we will not be returning here. read more

As a former Chicagoan, I appreciate Beefstro's Gourmet Beef restaurant. I have visited Beefstros several times. It is a great place to get your "fix" of a true Chicago Style Hot Dog or Italian Beef. One reviewer compared it to Portillo's. The major difference I see is that Beefstro's food is designed and prepared by a real chef who hand crafts a high quality product. The ingredients in Beefstro's dogs are equivalent to the classic recipes, but the key ingredients are upgraded. The result is an authentic Chicago experience with very high quality. Nemo, the owner/chef is a friendly, outgoing man who loves serving customers and sharing stories about the Windy City. Give Beefstro's a try... Even if you aren't a Chicagoan! read more

BEWARE! I would have given 5 stars, BUT If you order online, they do not give you fries or chips with your order even though it says *sandwiches includes chips or fries* right on their website! I was told it is because when you order online it is powered through GrubHub, even if you order direct from the restaurant website like I did! I am from the Chicago area so I was excited to find a Chicago-style Italian Beef sandwich while I was visiting Naples! When you go in the place, it felt like home for me! Chicago sports merchandise and memorabilia decorates this place up nice, but the Italian Beef was spot on! Both of my kids also loved their choices, the hot dog and the chicken tenders! Great choice for a Chicago-style lunch, just make sure you get the fries or chips that are supposed to come with it!!! read more

Being from Chicago, I have given Beefstro's time after time to make a good Italian Beef for the price. I just had an order delivered, and there is WAY more bun than BEEF! Look at the picture! "Where's THE BEEF??" I asked for Extra Au Jus and Sweet Peppers which I didn't get. Your so called "Fire fries" are terrible and I would have rather had McDonalds and I paid $5 for a hot dog that was upside down and I could have got from a food cart for $1. I am not going to frequent your restaurant anymore. I see why they are all closing. I won't order again. I am sorry but for the price, I am so very disappointed in my meal. read more

The first time I ate there I had the beef sandwich. It was absolutely excellent! I stopped in there today for lunch and I had the Italian sausage sandwich. It was even better then the beef sandwich! If you have not been there you really need to go to this restaurant and try their food. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The owner is always there and he's a really nice guy he really loves making good food for his customers! Please try this restaurant! read more

Excellent service, feel like you're walking into owners home. I was greeted by a friendly smile as he showed me the beef roasting. Like a proud papa he proclaimed that this place is all about the beef. I saw that succulent beautiful beef and got the feels... Then he made sure i tried the house special #2 and even have me some tips on how to eat it Chicago style. It was amazing. The beef really was as good as he described, so flavorful and juicy.... and those hot peppers omg. This is a great stop for a long drive! Def going to be my new pit stop when traveling cross state. Established in 2013.

A new exciting opportunity was created with a team including Neim and a group of his friends: a lifelong friend from Naperville, and his son-in-law Chris Strickland, from Lakeland Florida. This group of entrepreneurs decided to open a fun-filled gourmet fast food restaurant with sandwiches from the Midwest called Beefstro's Gourmet Beefs. The first one is to be launched in Naples. The team's goal is to start with several locations on their own, and then create franchising opportunities throughout the east and west coast of the US. With all the years of experience that Neim has in the restaurant business coupled with the experience and enthusiasm of the team as a whole, it will be no surprise when Beefstro's enjoys a successful and exciting venture serving the people in Florida and beyond.

Meet the Business Owner: Neim M.

Neim Malo was born in Chicago Illinois and raised in the suburb of Naperville where you can find some of the greatest food in the world. Mr. Malo was self-taught in the restaurant business from the age of ten beginning with peeling sacks of potatoes in exchange for a cheeseburger. As a boy, he dreamed of owning his own restaurant one day. At the age of twenty one, he pursued the start of his dream in Leland Illinois and was very successful with the Leland restaurant . At the age of twenty-five, with one success under his belt, he started a night club, Malo's Rock Studio, in Aurora with three of his brothers. This endeavor produced lots of fun for the Malo brothers and continued success. Subsequently, Neim and 2 of his brothers moved to Naples Florida for the next chapter of their success story.

She never checked on us once when we had our food. When we were finished and she dropped off our paid bill, there wasn't a "thanks for coming" or "have a great day" or an even a smile. Beefstro's had a half page ad in the Naples Daily News on Thursday June 4th, 2015 with a coupon for half off of a second item bought. I then went on Yelp to see its rating and it was 3 1/2 stars so we decided to check it out since I usually scout the places I am going to take my Neighborhood Dinner Group which varies in size up to 24 people at a time. When we arrived at the store I approached the waiter about the coupon and said it would be good for the whole table. I then showed the Yelp free drink to them and they had never heard of it. The boss (White hair and beard) came in and said he had not heard of it either but when shown it gave me 4 cup, one for each of my party and said he would go along with it. We ordered and ate the food, which I would rate at about a 3 star and when the bill came I noted that it only took one drink off and 1 discount on a sandwich. I complained and the girl said that is what they decided even though they had told me different before. The amount was only less than $10 but really left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

His dismissive attitude and unprofessional behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere, overshadowing any positive aspects of my experience. I give the owner credit he listened to the reviews we visited the new Beefstros on Livingston and all of my previous complaints had been resolved the employees were using gloves they didn't salt the fries and the new store has a gas French Fryer so the fries were cooked to perfection. If I was back in the suburbs of Chicago this new Beefstros would be one of my stops. read more

I walked into the store and was not greeted for almost 5 minutes. The employees were on their phones in the back. When i finally got to order, the food took forever.
