We suspected a leak in the water main line. Turns out the meter was going bad. All together four plumbing companies came out. One, using a special detector, indicated a leak under the concrete driveway. After tearing out that section of the driveway, no leak was found. My home was totally repiped just a few days after meeting with the Repipe representative. It was done in a single day by 3 men who were skilled plumbers, strong, and able to climb through tight spaces. Having gone through a remodel of my home 10 years earlier, I had a lot of pictures showing what was behind walls which made it easy to determine the easiest route to the attic without doing damage to the kitchen and bathrooms which contained expensive cabinets and tile. Many of the holes made were inside closets. I was present and impressed when they did an air pressure test on the system when all was connected. The system held a pressure of 45 PSI. When I found out that all the pipe in my home was defective (polybutyrene...known issue), and that I'd have to have the entire house replumbed, I was angry and nervous. Didn't know what to expect, or where to start looking. Coincidentally, new neighbors moved in next door, and I saw the Repipe truck in their driveway. They actually had the job done before they moved in, so I went over to watch how the job was being done. I was impressed at how methodically they worked as a team. Ron gave me an overview, stopped over to my house, and promised to send his estimator within a day or two. Mike, the estimator, was very straightforward and knowledgeable. He pointed out some details in my plumbing that I wasn't aware of. He asked if there were any extras we needed. I asked for a shutoff for my irrigation, separate from the main house supply. No problem. Repipe was in and out of my two-story house in one LOOONG day. They cut about 20 neat holes in my drywall, but I was pleasantly surprised...thought it would take many more. They didn't have to disturb our bedroom at all. A few days later, their drywall man, Sergio, patched and textured all the holes all day and into the night. He offered to leave and come back, but I told him to stay as late as he needed to. Once again, DONE in one visit. Two days later, we found a dry outlet. I called, they sent Anthony over the next day. It was a minor mistake he immediately pointed out to me on his own. Fixed in 45 minutes. Repipe wasn't the cheapest, but I wanted to deal with people who do this day in and day out. I think these guys are great. They did a great job on my house, staring with being on time they were also clean and respectful. Her is the true test, I had a problem months later while redoing my kitchen I had with a valve that wouldn't close causing a small leak. Repipe specialists are a good value. The cost was half of what I was quoted from two other plumbing companies. It's a definitely a relief to know we can no longer have un-findable slab leaks! There were a couple issues that caused me to provide a 3-star review. First, the house was a mess afterwards. There was drywall dust everywhere. I spent 6 hours the following weekend deep cleaning everything (and I am not a neat freak). Second, some recessed lighting will not go back in place. We called the company after we noticed it the first time and they sent someone out promptly to fix it, which was great. However, he did a shoddy job putting them back in place. A few days after he left they're hanging out of the ceiling again. I didn't bother asking them to come back again since I figure the same thing will happen. Overall, a great value for the money but they could benefit from some job refinement. I've attached some pictures of the recessed lighting. I had my home repiped by Repipe Specialist a year ago and it was a total disaster. Total of 6 return visits to repair work left undone and water leaks due to poor workmanship, each visit required having to turn off the main water supply overnight/next day and using bucket of water to flush your toilet. The sub-contractor (owner) that does the actual work (Advanced Plumbing) will not honor warranty work in a timely manner and without lots of photos and emails complaining of unprofessional work being sent to both Repipe Specialist and Advance Plumbing. Repipe Specialist once they take your money will not return any calls or emails. During my last warranty event I had to contact the Arizona State Department (ROC ) to force Advanced Plumbing to honor their lifetime Warranty. Repipe Specialist will ONLY post favorable reviews on their website. If you do business with them communicate only with emails/Photos and save them. The polybutylene piping in my house had to be replaced. I had been fixing 1 or 2 leaks every year. I'm a snowbird, and I was afraid to have Chandler Water turn my water on when I wasn't present. Anyway we had a big leak that I jury rigged together and wanted to get all the pipe replaced before we went back north. Repipe Specialists were confident that they could get it done before we left. They were dispatched to my house early because another job was delayed. They did a great job replacing all the pipe; however in my quote it was specifically specified that they would install access panels on the walls. The foreman was going over the "completed job" and I had to remind them of installing the access panels. They had 2 in the service truck, but they had to order the other one. I was assured that it would arrive on a certain day and be installed. The day came and went, and we decided to go ahead and take off for the Northland. I called and told them to leave the access panel with a neighbor and paid for the job with credit card. I got back to Chandler in October and there had been no attempt to drop off an access panel. I called twice and emailed as well. Ron personally delivered the access panel yesterday which should have been delivered 2 weeks ago by one of his crewmen. In conclusion they do great work, and I would definitely recommend them. If you do have a problem, Ron will treat you right. read more

They even ran a pipe under my mobile home so I did not have to run the hose around my home to connect my hose and have water to that side of my home. They re-piped my whole house after a slab leak was discovered. The guys that did the work with running the pipes through our walls did a great job and tried to minimize the removal of drywall. We also had them repair the drywall and texture and match the texture on our walls. There were some minor issues with the repair of the walls, but upon bringing it to the company's attention, they promptly recognized the issue and addressed it. I had my Manufactured Home pipes changed. This was needed for years but could not afford at the time. The 2 installers showed up on time very courteous and did a good job. And cleaned up after themselves, huge plus. I started to get a request to post a review but since I only had it a few days, I did nothing. It has 3 or 4 months and absolutely no issues with the water pipes. Excellent pressure and no more worries about them again. YAY! The only negative that I have found is, I had to go under my home to run new cables for my TV/Internet (first time since pipe install), well I discovered that my pipes were not installed per se, they are laying on the dirt under my house, and none of the old pipe were removed.
