Perfect little sweet treat to end a day walking around downtown Disney! The chocolate sauce was good too, just wish it wasn't so pricey

I really love the beignets at Beachcomber, but these are definitely second on my list! They were so good -- I just wish they were a little fluffier. Even so, I still enjoy them every time. The line can get pretty crazy, but it's always worth the stop!

Beignets were delicious, very similar to the ones inside the park. They actually seemed a bit bigger and had more powdered sugar, which was a nice bonus. I also liked that they're made to order, so they come out fresh and warm every time. The wait wasn't too bad about 10 minutes, which is pretty reasonable since it can get much longer. I do wish they included a dipping sauce, but unfortunately caramel or chocolate comes at an extra cost (around $3). The ambiance is just okay, nothing too special. Customer service could've been better, especially for Disney where you usually expect a warm and welcoming experience. I wasn't greeted or thanked when I received my order. Overall, I'd still recommend it for a sweet treat when visiting Downtown Disney.

Beignets are one of the perfect sweet treats after dinner, especially at Disney. This spot is located in Downtown Disney, next to the Jazz Kitchen. This is a quick grab-n-go location, so there's no indoor seating. But they do have a few tables outside. The tables can use a cleaning because there's powered sugar everywhere. While waiting in line, you can watch the workers make the beignets behind a glass window. The cashier that assisted us was nice. Throughput was surprisingly quick after ordering. We ordered 10 beignets. These were given in a paper bag filled with a generous amount of powdered sugar. Make sure to shake the bag well! Highly recommend eating these immediately. At first bite, the beignets are very fluffy and fried to perfection. It is not good after a couple hours or the next day because it becomes flat. Prices are really expensive for beignets. I'm not surprised since this is Disney. I think it's a good sweet treat once in a while. Friday evenings, weekends, and holidays are extremely busier. Don't be shocked if finding a parking spot is difficult. The Downtown Disney parking lot is also called the Simba parking lot. Make sure to route to this specific parking lot if you're going to Downtown Disney. For whatever reason, if you route to the actual restaurant or shopping store, Apple Maps and Google Maps will route you through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. And you will be turned away at the gatehouse once you pull up.

Once it used to be known as Jazz Kitchen Express but now Beignets Expressed. Thee spot to go to for hot and fresh beignets. Menu has changed but same flavors with higher price tags. The decor is clean and modernized. This is quick service so coffee quick break! Remember to shake the bag when you get your order as they sprinkle the sugar on top. It'll coat nicely since it'll be fresh and hot.

    1. The glazed beignets were huge! You can definitely taste the strawberry flavor! 2. The spot has fast casual vibes! The interior is cozy! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! The order was ready in about 10 mins! 4. There are only outdoor tables! There are few tables available! 5. Only paid parking is available! Note: This spot does not have their own restrooms! I wanted to update my review to say one thing: Get the glazed beignets. I didn't think I could like the beignets here more than I already did, but the glazed beignets are terribly delicious, and better than the powdered sugar in my opinion. The same hot, pillowy beignets but with an even coating of their glaze which was surprisingly not too sweet. Also, from my observation, the longer the line, the fresher the beignets. Delicious and amazing and I will be dreaming of them until I can have them again

"Do Beignets Dream About Me?" I DOO!! Still drooling over how fresh and soft these were! Literally worth the wait in line and did not disappoint! You basically bite into a cloud! My first time at Downtown Disney in Cali and as walking this place immediately caught me eye! The ambiance was very welcoming and the customer service was very pleasant. The pricing was a little high, but worth every bite! MUST GO and will be my first stop when I return. **Ordered Original New Orleans Beignets, 4pc, $9.99

Fast service, fresh beignets, cute dessert to grab in downtown Disney and eat on the go, don't wait, they aren't as good cold.

My first time trying beignets at Disney! I read some reviews that people were saying the beignets in Downtown Disney tasted better than the ones inside the park. I have to try both places and compare them myself =D. Came here Wednesday night and the line was long. The line went by pretty fast though. After placing your order at the cashier, you will wait inside or outside for your name to be called. I got the glazed beignets. It took around 12 mins to be ready. Not too bad as they were really busy. The beignets were super fresh, soft and pillowy. A bit too sweet for me but still really good. Price didn't seem too bad as each piece is huge. There are limited seating and tables outside for customers. Store inside is small and congested when it gets busy.

This was my second experience after a Disneyland trip. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, and there was a line wrapped against the wall outside the door. This has been my experience each time, however, they move this line, pretty fast. I enjoyed the experience of seeing the workers roll out the dough for the Beignets. That's always fun to watch as you wait for the cashier. The cashier was great, he was taking orders and getting everyone in and out well. This time I ordered their Banana Foster which had a banana rum (flavoring) not alcohol and caramel. I was expecting slices of banana inside and caramel drizzle on top with possibly whip whipped cream. It didn't have any of that. I was a little disappointed. I will say that they are served hot and fresh. I would definitely return, but order something different next time. The store is small and can get a little busy if customers are not in and out but for the most part, it's clean enough this fight how much traffic they get.

Tiana would be proud. After a fun filled foot sore family irritated night of Mickey's house, we decided four original beignets was what we needed as a last sweet sugar rush to bring us back to our hotel safely. The price is a very reasonable $12 and the taste was heavenly. I wanted to save mine in our fridge but didn't want to ruin it. We have a bucket of powdered sugar left over and I am worried the kiddos will eat it has a midnight treat !! Wish me luck hiding it from them !!

As a long-time OC native, I've brought my fair share of visitors to Downtown Disney and made a deliberate stop to get beignets here. They still have a line out the door, and no seating area inside just a few tables outside. But as of my last visit, the value if making this stop just isn't there anymore. They used to put in more care to making sure each beignet was cooked well, but I had a number out of the 10 I purchased that were flat and lacking the airiness that makes these more than just donuts. It also feels like a lot more of a factory just churning through the line than actually making sure each customer gets a good product. They throw a huge helping of powered sugar on top of the bag, but the effect ultimately is that many of the pieces near the bottom don't even have any sugar at all. I didn't notice this in the last, but maybe it's that they used to have more than just one big dusting to get a more consistent product? Overall it just doesn't taste as good as it used to. They also did away with the mini-beignets which I used to love, as you got more crisp and made it more shareable. Overall I'm not impressed with this last trip. I'll give it another try the next time I come, but if it's a repeat experience, then that will solidify my guess that they are now just about getting through the volume and not the quality of the treat.

When my daughter had a dance competition in the area, I knew I had to go!!! Its located on 4th Street in Santa Ana but I've heard they also have a food truck that goes out to Anaheim as well. The place on 4th street though has street parking, be prepared to possibly circle around a few minutes to find a spot. Also, make sure you have coins to feed the parking meter! My daughter and I came on a Saturday evening and must've got there at a good time as there was only a handful of us in line. After ordering, it did get much, much longer! As in, right out the door! Its not a huge place...several tables along the wall to the left while on the right is the area where the magic happens! This is where they make the churros and towards the back, right is where the ordering is done. We ordered the Churros with ice Cream, Don Churro style with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of nutella and a full thread of regular churros. I will have to say that these have got to be the best damn churros I've ever had!! They make them on the spot and not until you've made your order. They're so light, airy and not even oily!!! They're just soooo sooo good! We brought our boxes of churros home for the rest of our family to enjoy. There was so much that we couldnt finish it right away so we air fried what we had left the next day and it was still pretty darn good. For what you get, prices are quite reasonable! Now i'm just trying to get back out there sometime for their deliciousness! If there's a line, its worth the wait!!! Two thumbs up for Don Churros Gomez!

The cream inside was not the right temperature, making the milk cream taste almost gamy. I question the quality of the ingredients. My guess is loaded ingredients. The self service, pre-made lunch bentos, sandos and sushi area is fine, but once you need assistance from a worker, it starts getting ridic. How so? You speak to whomever is attempting to assist you OVER and UNDER a twenty-four year old counter area that holds the pastries and/or through a tiny hole in the cabinets. You can hardly make eye contact with the person, because all the pastry is in between where you are standing and where they are standing. Some people are tall, some short, but regardless, there is NO WAY to have a conversation with them. They are trying to see what exactly you are possibly pointing to in the case, but as noted, you're talking thru a case of pastry. This is also true at the Fountain Valley location, where they only have a very small counter to check out with many people standing in line trying to have someone collect their order from the back. Maybe also ask WHY there is never any KINAKO donuts? I was there at 11 am and I got THE LAST ONE! If these are so popular, why don't you make enough to sell throughout the day? Every other time I've been here, you were already SOLD OUT! SMH HAS ANYONE HERE SEEN THE SELF SERVICE process at 85 degrees? All their pastry is individually wrapped and you calmly walk through the SELF SERVICE pastry area with a tray and tongs to help yourself. If you'd like to pass the person in front of you, it's easy and doable because there is plenty of room and it doesn't make anyone feel like you are taking "cuts". Once you get to the end, the cashier totals up your tray and puts it in a bag or box for you. Done & Done. Let me reiterate that your pastry and food are all above par and I know you've been in business since 2002 and let me commend you for 24 years of service, but it's time to CHANGE IT UP to a more user friendly process. It's not appealing to anyone in this busy day and age that there is a line out the door, ONLY BECAUSE THE PROCESS INSIDE NEEDS HELP! It's also more sanitary that the pastry and breads are wrapped ahead of time as I saw a fly inside the case today. Ugh.
