For as many times I have been to Downtown Disney, I have never had the beignets. We were staying a couple days at Disneyland and decided to give them a try. We arrived right when they opened. I wasn't drinking alcohol so score to try something new. The staff were not friendly and just wanted our order. There was no one else in the store and they were crowded with customers. The store was quiet. She prepared our order and handed it off to us. The beignet was Good especially with coffee. Don't know whether I will be back again.
First time trying the beignets here. You can smell it when walking by. I stopped by with my niece to purchase a few to share. Got the original flavor. It tasted ok, I wish it had more filling. Anyways it's still good to have it as a treat. Customer service was ok. Outdoor seating available.
Downtown Disney staple for me! I never wait too long and the beignets always come out hot and fresh nearly immediately. Staff is nice and the beignets are delicious and loaded with sugar. Inside you can watch them handmade the beignets and outside there's seated and standing tables to enjoy your treats.
Not sure what happened to their quality. Multiple were flat and should not have been sold. This was August 1, 2026 at 10:30am.
We got the key lime pie, strawberry cheese cake, fruity pebble, and banana foster and each of them were very scrumptious and entirely unique. My favorite was the strawberry cheesecake which reminded me of the classic strawberry ice cream bars. It had a crunchy cookie crumble exterior and the beignet was soo soft and like no other pastry. The banana foster was also so unique in flavor and I could taste the banana really well. Key lime pie was also a hit. I'm still dreaming about the beignets days later and looking forward to my next visit We ate this after our swim at the disney hotel and it hit the spot!

There was powdered sugar everywhere and dried out something on the counters. It was very sticky and kinda eeww inside. They were fully stocked on napkins and straws which I appreciated but I really would try to keep an eye on keeping the restaurant a little cleaner. Now onto the most important thing, the beignets. They were at most just ok. Yes they were warm BUT they were also under fried? It's that a thing? The beignets were just very limp and doughy. Not what I was expecting as the lines are ALWAYS ALWAYS long. I was expecting that this would be better as I've had beignets in New Orleans. These were limp and overly sweet as the powdered sugar just stuck to the beignets in a thick layer. Very disappointing. I won't be back.
The classic powdered sugar 4 pack is my go-to when visiting Downtown Disney. I got addicted and stopped by 3 nights in a row when on a work trip. The first two nights, the beignets were so fluffy but the last time they were a little flat -- still good, but quality can depend on who is frying them. Overall, a bit pricey but a unique and yummy dessert. I also tried the chocolate dip which was an additional cost. It wasn't super memorable so I'd skip and stick with the regular order.

This is a quick grab-n-go location, so there's no indoor seating. But they do have a few tables outside. The tables can use a cleaning because there's powered sugar everywhere. While waiting in line, you can watch the workers make the beignets behind a glass window. The cashier that assisted us was nice. Throughput was surprisingly quick after ordering. We ordered 10 beignets. These were given in a paper bag filled with a generous amount of powdered sugar. Make sure to shake the bag well! Highly recommend eating these immediately. At first bite, the beignets are very fluffy and fried to perfection. It is not good after a couple hours or the next day because it becomes flat. Prices are really expensive for beignets. I'm not surprised since this is Disney. I think it's a good sweet treat once in a while. Friday evenings, weekends, and holidays are extremely busier. Don't be shocked if finding a parking spot is difficult. The Downtown Disney parking lot is also called the Simba parking lot. Make sure to route to this specific parking lot if you're going to Downtown Disney. For whatever reason, if you route to the actual restaurant or shopping store, Apple Maps and Google Maps will route you through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. And you will be turned away at the gatehouse once you pull up.
I've come here a few times when I stop by Downtown Disney. The line is almost always out the door especially in the evenings. I came in on a random weekday, middle of the day so there was basically no line which was nice. I ended up getting their frozen hot chocolate-it's very rich as well as 4 beignets. Their beignets are also crispy and fluffy. They don't hold back on the powdered sugar either-accidentally spilled some all over myself the first time I pulled out a beignet LOL. Check out their fountain drinks as well. My partner said he saw flavors on there that were unique
Always so yummy and fresh. They're made fresh to order so you have to be patient. Also, don't be surprised by the long lines! But definitely worth it. If you could, bring your own dipping sauce LOL, at $2.50, you get a teeny-tiny tub. It's the "express" so no seating inside but you can relax outdoors at one of the tables and people watch.
Place was clean, employees said hello. We ordered the pick four. It came to $19 ish dollars. WE THREW IT AWAY. The bananas foster and strawberry taste so artificial it's insane. The sauce leaked onto the others and the others were so artificial and fake tasting. I was shocked I threw $19 into the trash. Only get the original powder sugar, I didn't try it but do not get these. I'm surprised the quality and taste was so bad for being in downtown Disney. Such a disappointment, we couldn't even finish one.

I also liked that they're made to order, so they come out fresh and warm every time. The wait wasn't too bad about 10 minutes, which is pretty reasonable since it can get much longer. I do wish they included a dipping sauce, but unfortunately caramel or chocolate comes at an extra cost (around $3). The ambiance is just okay, nothing too special. Customer service could've been better, especially for Disney where you usually expect a warm and welcoming experience. I wasn't greeted or thanked when I received my order. Overall, I'd still recommend it for a sweet treat when visiting Downtown Disney.

2nd time back!!! Jason helped us again, and we had so much fun!! Beignets were so fluffy, fresh, and delicious as usual. Highly recommend the raspberry sauce. Very fun place with lots of great food and people!! read more
I personally think these beignets are better than inside the park. Small shop located in Downtown Disney next to Jazz Kitchen, no indoor seating, only outdoor, sometimes shaded seating. Service was kind and quick as it always is on any disney property. Bananas Foster Beignets were great! I will have to come back and try other flavors! read more

It's always busy when I pass this place in Downtown Disney, so I was happy to try this place when there was no line. My husband and I got the original beignets. Where we got them, they were nice and hot. They weren't fully coated with the sugar, so I had to shake the bag a few times. Warning - be cautious opening the bag if you do this cos it will be a load of powder / dusty flying out lol. The beignets were nice and hot when we got them. Fluffy and had great texture. It has a slight bite to it on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely better with the powdered sugar We were able to get a table with chairs so we can sit down and enjoy our beignets. But there are also high tables available - no chairs. You can also enjoy your beignets anywhere around downtown Disney. read more

Once it used to be known as Jazz Kitchen Express but now Beignets Expressed. Thee spot to go to for hot and fresh beignets. Menu has changed but same flavors with higher price tags. The decor is clean and modernized. This is quick service so coffee quick break! Remember to shake the bag when you get your order as they sprinkle the sugar on top. It'll coat nicely since it'll be fresh and hot. read more

I wanted to update my review to say one thing: Get the glazed beignets. I didn't think I could like the beignets here more than I already did, but the glazed beignets are terribly delicious, and better than the powdered sugar in my opinion. The same hot, pillowy beignets but with an even coating of their glaze which was surprisingly not too sweet. Also, from my observation, the longer the line, the fresher the beignets. I really love the beignets at Beachcomber, but these are definitely second on my list! They were so good -- I just wish they were a little fluffier. Even so, I still enjoy them every time. The line can get pretty crazy, but it's always worth the stop! read more

My first time trying beignets at Disney! I read some reviews that people were saying the beignets in Downtown Disney tasted better than the ones inside the park. I have to try both places and compare them myself =D. Came here Wednesday night and the line was long. The line went by pretty fast though. After placing your order at the cashier, you will wait inside or outside for your name to be called. I got the glazed beignets. It took around 12 mins to be ready. Not too bad as they were really busy. The beignets were super fresh, soft and pillowy. A bit too sweet for me but still really good. Price didn't seem too bad as each piece is huge. There are limited seating and tables outside for customers. Store inside is small and congested when it gets busy. read more
This was my second experience after a Disneyland trip. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, and there was a line wrapped against the wall outside the door. This has been my experience each time, however, they move this line, pretty fast. I enjoyed the experience of seeing the workers roll out the dough for the Beignets. That's always fun to watch as you wait for the cashier. The cashier was great, he was taking orders and getting everyone in and out well. This time I ordered their Banana Foster which had a banana rum (flavoring) not alcohol and caramel. I was expecting slices of banana inside and caramel drizzle on top with possibly whip whipped cream. It didn't have any of that. I was a little disappointed. I will say that they are served hot and fresh. I would definitely return, but order something different next time. The store is small and can get a little busy if customers are not in and out but for the most part, it's clean enough this fight how much traffic they get. read more
Be prepared as this place is packed, line out the door and they aren't very efficient. We waited almost 15 min for our 4 mixed packs and they still made an error on our order. He asked if we wanted a hot chocolate or peppermint as he only had a limited left. We chose peppermint and end up with chocolate. After the wait we weren't going back in. Because of how they add the flavors it takes more time than the regular. They should notify customers but I think they forgot the order because we had to inquire about it. We really enjoyed the blueberry and strawberry. The blueberry tastes similar to fruity pebbles We liked to dip in the creamy milk dip they provide. The other flavors are ok. Ambiance is busy. It's fun watching the employees roll the dough, cut it and put into fryer. read more
Though I'm not a fanatic of beignets like some Disney enthusiasts like myself, I will have to say these were hands down my favorite this weekend as traveled with a beignet fan. Shocking, I know, but I actually don't prefer the Mickey-Shapes ones in the park as they are too hollow in the interior. The ones at Beignets Expressed were perfectly dense while light and fluffy, and elegantly dusted with powdered sugar. Raspberry is my favorite beignet condiment and their raspberry sauce was very delicious. With both quick and friendly service, we both recommend this location to satisfy your beignet fix. On our way to the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon 2025 Health and Fitness Expo, my husband and I stopped by Beignets Expressed in Downtown Disney for breakfast on a Thursday morning before 10:00 A.M. Beignets Expressed recently opened in 2023. The interior is modern and inviting, allowing guests to peek at the beignet making process as they wait! There was a team member making the dough while we were looking over the menu at Beignets Expressed. Located adjacent to the Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio, Beignets Expressed offers beignets and several drinks too! Beignets Expressed delivers traditional powdered sugar beignets, made from a custom in house blend that's been used since 2001! Some of their current custom beignets include the glazed beignet, blueberry cobbler beignet, and a few others! We ended up getting just the original Beignets (4 piece) . At the time, the Frozen Ghirardelli hot chocolate wasn't ready yet, so we ended up getting the Frozen Mint Julep and the frozen cherry lemonade. With the beignets we also purchased the [3] dipping sauces which included the creamy caramel, raspberry tang, and chocolate velvet. The beignets were fresh and hot! All of them were coated with powdered sugar! I tried all three dipping sauces. My favorite was the creamy caramel. The raspberry and chocolate was just okay. The beignets without the dipping sauce were amazing! The beignets at Beignets Expressed are noticeably thicker and more doughy than other beignets that I've had, but still really good! The service here was fantastic and the beignets are great! This restaurant did accept my Magic Key discount on the Thursday morning. Next time, I'll have to try out their glazed beignet! read more
Worth trying! We were lucky and weren't bombarded with the insane lines. Think the only one we didn't get to taste were the powdered sugar beignet. Don't know why you can't mix powdered and the glazed ones. Little pricey but worth trying cuz they were delicious read more

I like how we're now able to order on the app and just go to pick up. Makes it so much easier, because there's always a huge line. Beignets are fluffy and tasty. You must eat them right away though, because the taste just isn't the same shortly afterwards. read more

I love the concept of glazed beignets. Its my first time trying them glazed and I really like the plain glazed one. My base for beignets is cafe dumonde in NOLA and these are so similar. The fluffy and taste.. so good! My daughter and husband like candy fruity taste so they enjoyed the special glazed ones.. I did not only because i dont have a taste bud for candy taste lol but if you do def try the special ones. The apple one btw to me tasted like airheads. So if thats your thing get that. This would be 5 stars if they'd let us customize the packs we get. It would be nice to get a mix of powdered and glazed without having to buy like 6 of them esp because they are on the pricey side. But overall, good beignets!! Dare I say better than the ones in the parks hehe. read more

This is the place to get a late night dessert. Always a long line. They sell them as fast as they make them. Dusted with powdered sugar. Perfect with milk or coffee. So good. This is a must when u r in Downtown Disney. read more
Our favorite way to end a Disney day is a side trip to this place (formerly Jazz Kitchen Express) for some beignets to go. Lines are usually long but it moves quickly. Through the years, the beignets here never disappoint. Soft, pillowy, chewy, & messy just how we like it (4/$11, 6/$14, 10/$18). We wanted to try their new options with the glazed variety and got the dip, drizzle, & sprinkle box - comes with 4 glazed donuts of your choice & a small side of milky sauce. We got one of each flavor (original glaze, blueberry cobbler, key lime pie, & strawberry shortcake) good but way too sweet for my liking. Personally, the original powdered sugar beignets are still superior. Friendly staff. Fast service. Clean establishment. Magic key discount applies. read more
