This company does a great job and if is isn't perfect, they make it right! We we a tankless hot water heater on a maintenance schedule and John Kessel does a great job. We have also had a waterline freeze that required digging up in winter like weather. The job was done right with John in the freezing cold water. read more

I called them for a new pressure release valve on my boiler. I sent them a picture of it the day before. The guy shows up without the part. He drives back to O'Fallon ( one hr round trip) and comes back to my house with the wrong part. Well back to O'Fallon he Gordans returns with the right valve. 45minutes later he is done and bills me for 3 hours labor. I gave him a bad review and so Domeinick Marchetti emails me to find out why he got a bad review. I told him and he never responded. Called Dominick twice and he won't call me back. It's all about money with Bel-O. They got me for 580 dollars. DONT CALL THE GREEDY BELO MAN!! read more

Hottest day of the year and had a power bump and my AC stopped working. Called my regular guy and he was busy so went to a big company. It was of course 3:45 so I got charged for an after hours call. Ok come out please. The guy was here for 10 minutes and told me my ac fan motor was out. Would be at least 700 -800 to fix. This is a old AC unit and he suggested it was better to go with new. 6400 for a whole new unit to include blower and furnace but can't install till Tuesday. Ok so until then?? Be hot. Great ok. Pay him 130.00 for nothing. So my regular guy calls me back and comes to check it out. It's a capacitor, he charged me 85.00 and I have AC. I will NEVER buy anything from Belo or call them again. Nor will they ever be recommended by me. Quite the opposite. Scammy!!! read more

I moved into a condo that had a furnace that was working and had passed inspection prior to my purchase of the property. Bel-o came to clean the furnace and then my furnace no longer was working. The worker wanted to claim my furnace wasn't working prior to him coming even though I had been living there for several days! Then, the company wanted me to wait until the next morning for the repair with extreme cold temperatures outside. Next, the same gentleman came back that afternoon, charged me for the repairs, and left without fixing it!!!! Finally, two different men came and fixed it after I called the company to tell them the first man left the job undone! I spoke to the supervisor about all of this, and he only returned $50 of the $695 repair of my furnace that was working before they came! I repeated my dissatisfaction to the supervisor who decided to completely ignore my message to him. I do not recommend this company!!! They clearly took advantage of me!!! read more

I was very disappointed in the service provided by Bel-O. I bought an older home and when I had the gas lines inspected, several minor leaks were discovered, along with some DIY run lines. Bel-O sent a technician out to take a look. The technician didn't feel confident giving me a quote so he said his supervisor would be by later in the day to review and give me a quote for repairs. Supervisor showed up late in the day, however he was extremely professional and knowledgeable, looked everything over, took my email address and told me he would send me over a quote once he got back to the office and he would have someone out early Friday morning. This occurred on a Wednesday evening. Well, I never received the email. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called on Thursday, thinking maybe he wrote my email address down wrong. Four phone calls to Bel-O, ZERO returned! I never heard back from them. No email, no return phone call, and shockingly no technician showed up Friday morning. I still haven't heard from them and I have no idea why. The irony in this story is when they failed to return my calls on Thursday, I reached out to Beloman, who said they would send someone out Friday morning. Which they did and they, Beloman, subsequently fixed my gas lines the following Monday. read more

I hired these guys to install a hot water heater at my business. They showed up late and then gave me a price. I decided to accept the price because I needed the problem fixed fast. They fixed it the next day, but after I paid them, I was visited by the health department. They said that they got an anonymous tip that the plumbing was bad. The inspector checked every thing and asked if I had hired Belo for anything. I mentioned that they just replaced my hot water heater. The inspector said that those guys always call him, because they're hoping he finds something, just so they'll have more work to do. I was fortunate that all my ducks were in order, but I will never hire them again. read more
