I contacted my home warranty company by placing an online service request on a Saturday night at 8:30pm. I woke up early Sunday morning and was actually shocked to see that I already had a voicemail from Bell Air to schedule an appt. It was 113 degrees and a home warranty call. I had convinced myself that I'd be lucky if I heard from someone within 3 days, with how busy HVAC companies are during the summer months in AZ. I called back and to my surprise was told Mike would be out that afternoon between 2-5. Mike called ahead of time to let me know that I would be his next stop and gave me an ETA according to GPS. I really appreciated that call, as I had 3 dogs to put in another room before he arrived. Mike was professional, knowledgable, personable and friendly. He diagnosed the problem, answered my questions and explained the next steps. I've had to deal with companies that my home warranty company has sent out and they blatantly did not give 2 cares about anything except getting in and out. This was absolutely not the impression I had with Mike and I was so appreciative to be treated like a "normal" customer. After getting the approval for repair the next day, Asha from Bell Air and I spoke a couple of times. She followed up to keep me informed on the status of the paperwork between the home warranty company and the company who had the part I needed. When Wednesday arrived and the company still hadn't received the order from home warranty, Asha called and apologized (not her fault at all). She suggested I call and advocate for myself, to see if I can get the order exedited so she could schedule my repair appointment and get my air working again. Done deal and taken care of! Impressed- Thank you so much Asha! Within 24 hours, Mike was back out here installing my new compressor. Again, professional, friendly and maintaining a positive attitude while it's 110 degrees outside. It's a very rare trait these days to find people that go the extra mile, that care about the customer and that go out of there way to help you. When you cross paths with a company with these values and these types of employees, you thank them. You tell people about them, and you do business with them again! My Bell Air Conditioning Crew showed up right on time to remove my old HVAC system and install a newer, more efficient system. From the moment they walked in the door I got the sense that I had professionals doing the job. (That was the case from receiving my first estimate from Jeff, and all along the line in the days before the crew arrived; reminding me of our appointment, posting pics of the guys who would be coming to do the work, etc.) "The other Jeff" supervised the installation and carefully detailed what they would be doing and made sure I understood every procedure. Their mode of operation was pristine, making sure my floors and surrounding furniture were protected, laying tarps and plastic covering. And they cleaned up after themselves. The work went like clockwork, every man on the crew busy in getting the job done. From where they positioned my system, to the way they integrated the new in with my present venting was superb. When the project was completed everything was cleaned up and the old system hauled away. When my system was ready to be tested they fired it up and let it run, then instructed me on how to use my new Trane automated thermostat. Going beyond the call, I had asked one of your young men (the one with the cast on his hand) if he might nail a bit of loose flashing back for me while they were on the roof. He was so friendly and kind, did more than I asked, and would not take any extra compensation for his kindness. I cannot evaluate whether Bell Air Conditioning is the cheapest, (I found there costs to be very reasonable) but I can certainly vouch that they are the most skilled, most professional and most courteous professionals I have dealt with during my 15 years in Arizona. My older home in Sun City is not the easiest in which to install a new system. But these folks had years of experience in homes of any age...and they proved it today. Installing a HVAC system is not an inexpensive undertaking. The cost and also attempting to make decisions in an area where I have little if any expertise is certainly an anxiety provoking situation. But since our unit was on its last legs I felt had little choice but to "bite the bullet" and replace our dying unit with a new one. After obtaining estimates from a half-dozen HVAC companies and checking reviews on Yelp, we went ahead with contracting with Bell Air Conditioning-they had also been recommended from a friend we trusted. Bell came out the next day after we called them. Mike their HVAC tech went through a thorough inspection in order to match our home's cooling/heating needs with the system Bell felt best suited our needs--he answered all the questions we had and spent as much time as we needed to understand what system we needed and why--there was never a time that we felt rushed in discussing and learning about HVAC systems-a consummate professional. What was recommended and what we decided on was a Trane XV18, variable speed system. A month after installation, Bell made a return visit to assure that the system was running properly. They also had a drywall repairer come out to the house to make a small drywall repair when the new thermostat did not exactly cover the space from the old thermostat. Though the system we purchased was not the cheapest system--we had several other estimates that were less expensive-and some that were more--we nevertheless went with the system that we felt was the best system for our needs and the best company we could trust to do a professional job. Though we have had the new system for only a short period of time and have not hit the highest temperatures that AZ throws at us, we have already seen a significant difference in how quickly and quietly the Trane system has cooled our home. Overall Bell-Air is decent company with good service and reasonable price, but still need to improve some areas of the service. Two weeks ago, my Daikin ducted Air conditioner showed error code on the control panel indicated of LOW refrigerant/gas leak, and Bell-Air is listed as the authorized service on Daikin.com. After comparison, Bell-Air indeed has the lowest Call-Out fee and hourly rate in ACT area. When the technician showed up, I told him right away that the control panel shows low freon/gas leakage and was expecting him to check the freon level and find the leak immediately, but instead he spent almost 2 hours checking outdoor unit sensors and other parts. When he finally starting to check the freon and leak, he said he had to run for another appointment so we had to re-book, which was fine with me. But in the second visit he showed up 2 hours later and made me cancel the second half of my work day for it! I called Bell-Air front desk and they admitted they messed up my appointment to noon but didn't inform me about it. Anyway, the technician finally came and spent 3.5 hours to refill the freon and replaced a small part on the gas pipe that caused the leak. Overall, they charged me total 6 hours and $1010 for checking the problem and replacing refrigerant. Few things that I would be appreciated that Bell-Air could do to be more professional for future services, like Be-On-Time as scheduled (or call customer first to confirm the appointment), find a parking first before the appointment, treat the right problem that already been indicated by the system panel, and wear a shoe cover while walking on new carpet. I don't want to be too picky about it, but since your company is authorized by Daikin.com, we would hope you could act as a solid business partner and provide a better service. If you could, I would still use your service in the future and recommend to my friends and others. read more

My Goodness!! Excellent. Excellent. EXCELLENT service!! I am visiting my dad in Sun City and just received emergency service from Bell Air Conditioning, on a Saturday afternoon. I cannot express just how truly PROFESSIONAL this company is. After being given the run around from supposedly other "emergency air conditioning" companies, who referred us to their call centers... who promised to locate a technician.... who would then call us to set up an appointment for someone to THEN come out to do a diagnostic....We are STILL waiting for a call from three of these so-called "emergency service" companies FOUR HOURS LATER! :-( Bell has come and gone and we now have cool air! When we called Bell, the phone was answered by Dan--who we later discovered was the actual OWNER himself! No call center on a 4th of July weekend: THE OWNER HIMSELF!! He assured us that a technician would be out to us within a 3 hour window. Chris, Bell's technician, arrived within an hour. Chris is a consummate professional who is effective and knows his craft. He quickly diagnosed the problem. Mind you, we called our home warranty company many times in the last 10 days. Their referral company has been out to us to fix the same problem 3 times. With the interminable heat, my father had to leave his home to stay in a hotel because the house felt like Hades. They had told him that it would take a week to locate the parts. Our mom suffered heat stroke and dehydration in all of this. With a new compressor in place, the unit was supposedly fixed 2 days ago; however, we lost air again today. That's when we decided to shop around. We thank God that He sent us to Bell. We are going to cancel our current home warranty in favor of one who uses Bell. I HIGHLY and UNRESERVEDLY recommend BELL. We always love to give small independent companies a chance to prove themselves and grow, especially when they live in our neighborhood, which Dan Bell does. Our first experience with Bell AC was when our old unit was making a lot of noise. We were prepared for the worst and expected to have to buy a new unit, but Dan came out and said it was something minor and fixed it for a reasonable price. The unit lasted several more years until we decided to buy a new AC unit before the old one died. We called Bell AC, and they had indeed grown, but the service is still top notch, the prices reasonable, and there was absolutely no hard sell. Since they were familiar with the neighborhood, they knew exactly the size of the unit needed and they didn't spend two hours measuring air flow and whatever else the big companies do to justify their outrageous prices. Chris was our contact and he was completely upfront about what we needed, what they would do, and what it would cost. They did a great job installing the unit. On the first day, one of the wires shorted out after they left and the unit didn't work, but when we called they came out immediately and fixed the problem. We've had the unit for several months now and through the summer, our cooling costs and the noise level are substantially lower. The ac at my house stopped working late in the day so we started making calls to every air conditoning service company availible trying to get a decent price and time to service at ten o clock at night. I called many popular companies and most of them that were open late or claimed to be 24/7 added additional fees for "after hours" service calls. All of the companies that I called (using google as a source) had a service call fee of $70-$100 just to come out and none of that cost would roll into the repairs or service and with no garentee that it cd be serviced that night. In particular one company had a $50 diagnostic fee (to look at the ac and indentify what was wrong) on top of the fixed service fee for them to drive out. I called Bell air conditioning expecting a similar disappointing tone but to my suprise the man informed me that it was only a $50 service fee that also rolled into the cost of repairs over $200 and he could be out in about 2 hours max. He arrived within 30 mins of getting my servicing information and spent 5 minutes fixing the simple problem. The charge was so affordable ($20 for new fuses) so a total bill of $70. He was tollerant and informative to all of my many questions about the unit, costs, and maintenance. I was so shocked to have had such a beautiful experience with an honest and educated company. I will continue to recieve maintenance from this company for many years to come. read more

Hats off to Bell. Definitely worth the time and money. By the way, very reasonable prices. I called on a Saturday (the 120 degree one) after a competitor (Parker and sons) cancelled on us. Jeff the tech was out within a couple hours. We were having a lot of water come out of the unit causing water damage etc etc. Basically what you would consider a severe situation. After 4 companies came out and "fixed" it, problem was still there. Jeff shows up, very laid back and not what I was expecting. His general relaxed hey it's not a big deal attitude had my guard up. Basically he was throwing off the old whatever attitude. Man was I wrong, I just don't speak HVAC. I think that's all he speaks. This guy is a pro. Based on the reviews of Bell, I am positive their hiring process is spot on and anyone of their employees could do the job. But if we ever have any issues I'm asking for Jeff. By the way, after what we thought was Armageddon AC style, it turned out to be an issue with too much freon in the unit causing the coils to freeze and dump water. Jeff was primed and ready for me to pay up the Yazoo to just get it fixed. Instead he threw me for a loop. One small service charge with a couple of hey you may want to address this soon issues. Not pushy, very professional and in my opinion would give Jeff and Bell 6 stars if I could. read more

We bought a home in Sun City, AZ in June of 2017. Waited until the last of November 2017 to decide to turn heat on. I called Bell Air Conditioning and they sent Chris out to my home in late November. He checked everything, then cleaned what he needed to clean. Then said, "I do not want to complete this check-up, as the gas isn't on and I really need to see a flame." (I had received a $39.00 check-up flyer in the mail.) He didn't charge me anything at all for the visit! But said he would be back when the gas had been turned on. (Yeah, I didn't know I needed to do that first - But it really does make sense... So, we had the gas turned on 11/29. Chris came back 12/1 and completed the check-up. Charged me the $39.00 that was advertised. He was so very helpful, explaining things as he went... I was VERY surprised and impressed! Most companies would have charged for that first visit. Most companies charge you every time they come to your home. Not Chris! Not Bell Air Conditioning! Chris charged the $39 from the flyer. He stood behind his company. That leaves me with respect for Chris and for Bell Air Conditioning! They stand behind their offers. That also lets me know they will stand behind their products. A touch of perfection! I have never been so impressed with customer service, that I didn't know what to say. Also, Trane is truly a better product imo. 1. I bought a new Trane a/c unit. 2. The install was very good, the guy took his time, paid attention to things that were important to me. 3. When the hot weather came and the unit was put to the test, everything was tuned to perfection, and I'm hard to impress, and Bell Air Conditioning impressed me! The unit was installed with a Nest thermostat, which I feel would be great for people who just like things to be easy and just work. However, I like to tune and adjust everything that can be adjusted, to my needs. They switched out the nest for a ecobee3 thermostat to hopefully give me more options that I needed and I have to say, for those people who like to program things their way, this is the way to go. I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with customer service learning how to use it and away i went. Wow, total control over how things are programed and how each sensor is read by the ecobee3. I could not be happier with everything. I appreciate the extra time spent making me happy and the overall quality is by far the best of anyone in the valley. read more

Derek arrived at my home to address the lack of heat from my HVAC system. He quickly found the solution to the problem. Approximately two weeks ago I had a similar issue with my HVAC system--at that time the necessary repairs were made. This problem was another component that failed. Because of the previous service call, though the cause was a different component, Bell Air Conditioning, waived the charge for the service call and new part that was needed. Clearly a service call charge and cost of the replacement component could have been charged--I would not have complained about the charge. This typifies the quality service and desire to assure that customer satisfaction is a priority. I have had a number of different HVAC companies that I have dealt with over the years. Bell Air Conditioning stands out above the rest. They have replaced my old HVAC with a new system as well as making service calls. From the first phone call to McKenna in the office to the final follow up system check by Caleb, this company was top notch. Excellent communication with text message and technician photo as to who to expect and when. Appointment reminders and on time tech. Caleb came out as one of the quotes we were getting to add a mini split to our sunroom. He was by far the most knowledgeable of all the companies. The fact that they communicate and had a partnership with an electrical contractor to do the wiring took that completely off my plate. That company, Rogoz Electric also communicated well and were extremely professional in office and technician. Great partnership there. Hunter and Wesley did the install. Did a great job inside and out and were great. Today Caleb came back out to do the follow up to be sure all was working well, made sure I knew how the work the remote and care for the filters. I call bell air conditioning to get a tune up and they came out and check out my unit and found out that my unit was blowing hot air and Adam found my capacitors were bad so he install (2) new capacitors at the cost of $552.00 and instead I bough a (5) year service contract in witch I though was a better deal so Adam left and letter that night my unit started to blow hot air again so the next day I call bell air back and they came out promptly and they fount that the fan motor was going out and the control board had went bad and since they mist it and Deick came out and fix my unit at no extra charge that $552.00 was a very good investment bell air you are the best and I have already recommended bell air to two of my friends and if they use them I am sure that they will get the same treatment that I have gotten if I did not think so I would not have recommended them to my friends because I would not here the last of it from them so thank you BELL AIR.!!!!!!!!!! read more
