Stopped in for a quick meal for 5 and got it. We were in and out in a jiffy, so the quick and polite service was appreciated. I tried the lamb gyro, tiropita and green beans. The gyro was delicious. The only thing that could've made it better is a harder-grilled bread, which I understand is probably a preference. Some people like the softer pita. The tiropita was strange. First of all, I've never seen it in a flattened rectangle, always a puffy triangle. The phyllo was fine, but the inside was much more eggy than cheesy. Not bad, but a little off from how I expect it to be. The huge portion of tzatziki that came with it was YUMMY! The green beans were definitely different than I'd ever had. There was a seasoning... I think dill... that I have never tasted with them before. I'd much prefer them without it, although it wasn't awful. Best value for your money when it comes to a delicious Greek meal. The Hummus is a favorite for its great taste, texture, and spices used. The ambiance is traditional Greek family restaurant with plenty of space for larger parties. There aren't many gyro or greek spots in Richmond that I've encountered. But man each time I come this place lets me down. Cold. Soggy. They don't sear the meat. It's just thrown together. This location is 20 minutes away from home so I placed a to go order and waited so I would have the best chance of having at least warm fries if taken home as soon as it was done. There is also a sign on the door as soon as you walk in asking you to tip for to go service. I was literally sitting in the restaurant waiting and they forgot I was there. Therefore, I ended up going home with cold fries and then they package the drinks on top of my daughter's kid's meal for no reason. Never again will I tip in advance. We can't even eat half of our food now because it's cold. I guess despite saying 4 times a lemonade for the kids meal my daughter doesn't need a drink also. And they can't put Taziki on the side, as asked multiple times. I REALLY will not be tipping in advance for this kind of service again. read more

Had a great experience at lunch with a coworker. Food is good, AC was cold and service was on point! I ate the Greek salad and enjoyed the fresh veggies, however I wish they had spring mix or green leaf lettuce vs. the watery tasteless iceberg but portions of other veggies, feta, and pita were all plentiful. Fresh, flavorful & delicious! The salmon gyro was amazing!! A thick piece of salmon on warm pita with a yummy tzatziki sauce! I want another one asap!! So good ! This is my absolute favorite Greek place in the RVA. The food is always on point and delicious. The lamb is perfect - seasoned well and never dry. You have to try the lemon soup! It's a must for us every time we come. Service is amazing as well. At the Chester location, Ashley is our favorite. Her vibe is positive and energetic. She seems to always have a smile on her face and connects with the customers wonderfully. We look forward to our visits here because of her and the delicious tasting food. This was one of the best Greek experiences I've had. The food was amazing, and the portions were generous. The Greek fries were amazing, and I would definitely order them again. The service for our table of 9 was a high point of the meal. Our server Ashley was quick, attentive, and helpful. She definitely raises the bar for service. The first thing you notice are the pastries. There is a huge cabinet of them, and they look delicious! I would have loved to have tried some, but was too full. We all ordered the $5 gyro special. We were all delighted. It was hot, quick, and very tasty. Exactly as you'd expect it to be. Some got fries. Those were also hot and tasty. Service was fast, friendly, and unobtrusive. The place is kind of diner-y. Nothing fancy, but with these prices you're not expecting it to be. They do offer bigger, traditional Greek meals moussaka. I really didn't know a lot about Greek foods, so i was going to slick with what I did know, but the wonderful waitress tok it upon herself and brought out samples of a number of things for me to try. It comes with their house salad . ( I must say it wasn't their best . It was dry . Not like them but everyone can have an off day.) The food is normally wonderful and the service is great .
