This is our second time living here and we lived here previously when it was Silverado and bell took over shortly before we moved to another state. I'm finally back and my move in was smooth, Sharon was helpful in getting us set up she even walked through the unit with us when we moved in. All work orders are taken care of in a timely manner and they are very helpful. The amenities here are great, the gate is about to be up and running in a month per the last chat I had with Sharon. The units are remodeled and have a nice luxury touch, closet space is so nice ! The ac works amazing. I'm excited for all the changes and upgrades they did. So far I'm content! They have vendors like food trucks or coffee carts that come by every so often it's a nice touch. I also love that the unit comes w a parking spot and a garage. read more

If you are considering this apartment complex as a place of residence, I would keep looking. I have seen my share of positive reviews and negative reviews toward this complex, but I, unfortunately, have only been able to relate to the negative reviews. The management is extremely unprofessional, the maintenance orders always take weeks unless it's something urgent even though they advertise that they get to everyone quickly, it's dirty, and they advertise as a gated community even though the gates haven't shut since me and my son moved in. The premises are dirty and they don't enforce anything to keep it clean. Pet waste is left throughout the walkways and on the streets and it is frankly disgusting and it makes the areas smell. I know that we are not the only ones facing this problem as we have spoken with neighbors as have we seen reviews for these apartments online sharing the same problem. Renovations around the apartments have been going on for quite a while now, but many things have been left half painted. The pools and hot tubs are also not very well maintained, making it hard to enjoy it. The management is unprofessional to say the least. This is clearly not an issue that only we are facing as it appears to be that many other people have felt the same way about the people working here. They can be a bit snappy and rude during conversations, and I do not appreciate it. Simply talking to them just does not work because they cannot be confronted with reasonable issues without being defensive over it. Maintenance is another issue we've had. There have been countless times where we have sent in a work order and have not heard anything from them regarding it until a week or two later. It is understandable if they have a lot of requests, but they should not advertise that they will respond to you in 24 hours unless they actually plan on doing it. Another thing I am a bit disappointed about is the gates. This isn't necessarily a big problem, but it's unfortunate that we were looking to be in a gated community for an added bit of safety and have not seen the gates close once since we moved in here. I've driven at many times throughout the early morning and the night, and not once have I seen the gates close. Parking is also a bit of an issue as many people park their cars anywhere, making it hard to go down the streets. There have even been times where people have parked in front of my son's car and left it there unattended with their hazard lights on, making us unable to get out of our parking spot. I've had such a great experience with the maintenance team at Bell Springs Apartments in Murrieta! Anytime I've had an issue, they respond so quickly and get the job done efficiently. I have plenty of friends that have lived here, from when the apartments were brand new til now. I lived at Bell Murrieta, when it was Silverado during 2021- 2023. For the money it was a amazing lease, from touring the property to signing the lease. My stay was pretty comfortable, whenever i called for any repair. I got a pretty timely response! I had a garage included in the price of my rent, and that helped a lot with no having to pay for a storage. As, i was downsizing from a house into an apt. The pools are always clean and the gates are usually in working order. I've been living here for about six weeks now, and my experience has honestly been great so far. From the very beginning, Ms. Sharon in the front office was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When I came in to view the apartments, she took her time, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Since moving in, I've had a few maintenance requests, and every interaction has been positive. The maintenance team is quick to respond, very professional, and respectful while working in my home. It's reassuring to know that things are handled efficiently and with care. I'll be honest, if I had read some of the older reviews before coming here, I might have felt a little skeptical. But I trusted my gut, and I'm glad I did. My experience has been nothing but positive so far. From what I understand, the property is under new management, so that may explain the shift in more positive experiences from newer residents like myself. We have been living at Bell Murrieta Springs for going on 9 months now and in our experience, everything has been great. From the moment we applied, our leasing agent Vanessa was so kind and helpful to our needs. One thing I noticed right away living here is that everything feels safe. Kids play together, everyone says hi to each other and my wife feels safe to go for walks in the complex along with other women and couples we see within the gates. We only have had one issue happen in the time we've been here and it was addressed and taken care of by the facilities department promptly. We are very thankful to live within this community and are appreciative of the sense of community the leasing staff try to convey through almost weekly events and freebies for the residents. Communication has always been great between us and our leasing agent Vanessa and we are very lucky to have her just a phone call away. Thank you Bell Murrieta Springs! read more

The property manager is rude and literally has no idea what's going on with customers applying. Sharon was nice but again the lack of communication is insane. After 9 days of back of forth of verification of income they come back with a denial. Applied somewhere else the same day and got approved. Need better ways of doing things. read more

I would strongly advise anyone considering this apartment complex to look elsewhere. Based on my personal experience, the positive reviews for this property do not align with the reality of living here. In my opinion, many of the glowing reviews appear to come from individuals closely connected to management rather than from unbiased, long-term tenants. Some individuals associated with management reportedly live on the property under different arrangements, which raises serious concerns about the credibility of certain reviews. There are also residents who appear to receive preferential treatment or incentives, which creates an unfair and misleading picture for prospective renters reading online reviews. As a paying tenant, my experience was completely different. Management was consistently unprofessional, dismissive, and defensive when legitimate concerns were raised. Sanitation issues were ongoing -- including pet waste left throughout common areas and parking lots, poor maintenance, and lack of enforcement of community rules. These conditions were repeatedly brought to management's attention and were never resolved. I have nothing positive to say about the management or the living conditions here. If you are spending your hard-earned money, do not rely solely on the five-star reviews. Visit the property yourself, speak to current tenants privately, and look closely at the condition of the grounds. Save your money and choose a newer, properly renovated, and professionally managed community instead. Living here has been a very rough experience overall. I lived on the 3rd floor and could clearly hear nearly everything the downstairs neighbor was doing. There was constant noise that sounded like football being played throughout the day and night. When I raised complaints about the noise, no meaningful action was taken. Additionally, many tenants smoke cigarettes, which negatively affects the living environment. Communication from management has been extremely delayed and, at times, practically nonexistent. I should not have to email 3-5 times just to receive a response. It has also been inconvenient that management consistently requires documents to be signed in person instead of offering simple electronic options like DocuSign, which would make the process easier for tenants. Overall, this has not been a pleasant place to live. I would recommend spending your money at a nicer, more well‑managed property. read more

Moved in last month! Sharon in the office was fantastic through the whole process, she's very knowledgeable and kind. Everyone I've met or dealt with on staff has been very nice, I had a couple of work orders when I first moved in and any time Ive called they're here within 24 hrs, which is very impressive at a place this big. There is a lot of construction going on but it's all for improvements and the renovated apartments are very nice and spacious. Lots of closet space and the master bedrooms are very big. I was a little hesitant to move in to a community this big but there have been no issues and every resident u e met has been friendly and welcoming. read more

Update!! They add fees to your rent with no notice. They also make up stories to try to cover for their unprofessional behavior. The staff needs customer service training, if they even think you are upset they immediately get attitude and then accuse you of being the problem and instead of choosing to be professional seeking to deescalate and assume positive intent they do the opposite, get an attitude, escalating the issue and creating a situation they now blame the customer for creating. It is wild how they continue to treat people and it's obvious by the other reviews the problem here is the office staff and their inability to maintain professionalism. It's a shame because we loved our first year here, but that changed quickly with the new management and the endless construction. Gate still not working either! read more

My neighbors are still at it with the noise. I've had enough and honestly am looking to move. I really hope you guys don't get a place on the second floor. If she's not making noise past 10 with her stomping, thumping, dragging, opening and closing, then she's making noise at 4am, 5am, 6am when I have a child whose trying to sleep. I can't stress how frustrating this is and how over it I am. She's very inconsiderate and if you're looking to move here, please know that you may encounter someone as inconsiderate as her. I don't understand how she can say they walk lightly when I hear EVERYTHING! My husband hears everything and we're fed up. She has been a problem since she's moved in and has made living here so unenjoyable. There's no reason in talking sense into her. She's ridiculous and doesn't comprehend common decency. I have to constantly use the broom to let her know I hear how loud she's being. She came down one time and tried to address me which I wasn't going for. This place sucks!!! Main problems are: 1. You don't get your deposit back 2. Maintenance is overloaded with work that nothing gets done unless it's an absolute emergency 3. Constant construction and/or constant apartment check-in's 4. New investors/management only care about upgrading units and renting them for more, instead of focusing on the people that actually live here 5. Not a gated community! The gates haven't closed in almost a year Let's break this down. We moved into these apartments when it was the Silverado apartments. We LOVED Silverado. Unfortunately that was our one and only year with Silverado before investors bought out the complex and turned it into Bell Murrieta. Right as Silverado turned into Bell Murrieta, I was pregnant and we were looking to upgrade from a 2 bed into a 3 bed. There's several important factors in this. Our refrigerator in the 2 bed was bigger than the 3 bed refrigerator. Very strange, considering that we were upgrading because we needed more space. When we moved in it was disgusting. There was an ant infestation in the kitchen, water damage in both of the bathrooms (rusty vanities and 'wet' looking water sprinklers), random spots that were stained (including the ceiling), mold INSIDE of the ice dispenser on the fridge, carpet that is so worn down it is a weird fuzzy texture, terrible stench from underneath the kitchen sink, and many other things that were more minor issues than the previously stated problems. We obviously thought that these issues would be addressed quickly since maintenance was always on top of things. We learned very quickly that Bell Murrieta ruined the whole system that was already working for Silverado. We went to the office a couple times to try to put pressure on how bad we wanted to have a functioning kitchen. The ants were so bad that we couldn't leave anything out on the counters. We were told by the front office lady that we should use some ant spray and that she also has to deal with ants right now. Her attitude was awful everytime she spoke to us. I'm assuming other people were also complaining to her about other issues. We JUST moved into a new unit, paid another deposit for it, and had to deep clean the whole unit while being 6 months pregnant, and I was being told to use some bug spray... The cherry on top of all of this was that we got told we were only getting back about $20 from our original $750 deposit on the 2 bed unit. When we questioned what their reasoning was, we were told they had a cleaning fee on top of some other BS reasons (never received an actually list of EXACT reasons for taking $730). The cleaning fee really bothered me for 2 reasons: not only did I have to deep clean an entire 3 bed unit while pregnant and with a 2 year old toddler, but we specifically paid a professional cleaner to deep clean our 2 bed unit so that we could get all/most of our deposit back. When we told the office lady that we hired a professional cleaner so why would they charge us a cleaning fee, she proceeded to tell us that there is always a cleaning fee regardless of how well you clean. So you will never get back 100% of your deposit. She said that she would wave the cleaning fee for our next move out, but I bet they will take every single dollar that they can get. We have officially given up all hope that this complex will care about us. Several maintenance orders were never fulfilled to this day. At one point they were all marked as done and then reopened because we called about things not being done (I'm not blaming maintenance for anything, I'm blaming the flawed system that they were forced into). There's new painting happening right now in the complex and our car got several spots of white paint on it from the painters. We were given a very large timeline of when painting was going to take place and told to move our cars (obviously with no accommodation because the only place to park is in the literal street). We had been inside all day and had no clue that they started painting the wall next to our car. I could keep going on about several things that have happened at this complex that should've been compensated monetarily, but it seems they'd rather die than cut some rent for their own mistakes. All we are given is "I'm sorry." We would love to just leave this place, but they wont let us leave without paying a crazy amount of money to break the lease. This is clearly not working out and they are in such a rush to flip these units so they should've been fine with us leaving, but until then we will count down the days. Officially done with this place in a little over 2 months Edit: I emailed Bell Murrieta and haven't heard anything from them yet. We're in Unit 127. read more

I want to really thank SHARON, Sharon if you're reading this i cant thank you enough for going above and beyond for my Kids and I when i was in this moving/finding a place to call our home transition. I hope the company really knows you are the sweetest and most caring person i've spoken to in this experience. I moved in during a crazy time with all the remodeling and construction but it hasnt been as bad. Im loving the new color and the upgrades. Another dept who i would like to thank is the Maintance crew. A couple of them in particular, i think his name is Oscar or Omar, i dont remember exactly but he is fast and goes above and beyond. We have lived in this community for about two years, back when it was still managed as Silverado. Since then, there have been many changes, and unfortunately, our experience has not been a positive one. When we first moved in, I preferred the gated entry system that opened and closed throughout the day. Now the gates remain open all day, which takes away from the sense of security. Parking has also been a major issue. Many residents park on the street, which would normally be fine, but the last time we parked there, my husband's windshield was shattered. We originally lived in a two-bedroom and were waiting for a three-bedroom to become available. Once Bell Murrieta took over, rent prices increased drastically, even though the units remained the same. When I finally had the opportunity to move into a three-bedroom at a reasonable price, I had to reapply as if I were a new resident, pay another deposit, and the unit we moved into was in terrible condition. At the time, I was only a few weeks postpartum and could not delay our move. The apartment had not been cleaned, there were stains in the bathroom sink and kitchen, several cabinets were broken or did not close properly, two bedroom doors were missing screens, and the entire unit smelled like cats. When I contacted the leasing office, I was told no one was available to clean that day. I ended up cleaning it myself, and they agreed I would not have to clean the two-bedroom we moved out of. We have also had ongoing issues with our refrigerator despite submitting multiple maintenance requests. Additionally, there were repeated problems with renters insurance billing that took five months to resolve, even though my policy was current. Renovations around the complex have been going on for months, but the work is inconsistent. Buildings are left half-painted, and common areas look incomplete. The pool has also not been maintained consistently; during the summer, we often found large clumps of hair floating in the water. Now that our lease is coming to an end, we are relieved to be moving on. Unfortunately, even this process has been difficult. After submitting our 30-day notice (which the office initially could not locate until I provided proof of the email), I have been trying to contact the leasing office about leaving six days early. I have received no response, and our full rent was still posted to the portal despite the notice. Overall, our experience here has been very disappointing. We are grateful to be moving soon, and I would not recommend this community to friends or family. read more

New owners took over in 2024 and since then nothing but inconvenience of construction workers. Not able to park in our spots because workers are mixing paint by the cars. They are charging outrageous water bills saying nothing has changed. Every month our water bill keeps going up, and we have used the same amount of water for the last 2 years, and they are unwilling to figure out the problem. The pools are constantly broken, bbqs are constantly broken. People here speed through the parking lot with kids around, gates don't work anymore. Changed all the key pads and never gave anyone a new fab to use for the pools and gates. Beware if you plan on moving here. read more
