Had burgers done the right way here! And very, very good service. The only reason I'm not giving them a "5" is that they don't have Coke products, just Pepsi ... and ...my cheeseburger really needed more cheese. I just don't like those small, square sandwich cheese on my burger. We're new to town and we'll definitely be back! read more

The service was lacking. ....I recommend NOT asking for crispy hashbrowns because instead of cooking them on a flat surface and browning one side or even both sides of them similar to a pancake like normal people they will throw a handful of shredded potatoes in the deep fryer and bring you these sorry shriveled up little CRISPY lol potatoes. Yeah you get crispy but definitely NOT what I want or expected. I didn't send it back. Was not a chain restaurant so I did like that! Walked in to fairly open area... tables still socially spaced. Coffee and refills were were quick and hot! Got a vegetable but honestly mushrooms were lacking and it was rather small... slightly longer than a hot dog bun and as thick as half a bun, maybe? Got wheat toast and grits as a side. I think the food was better than a chain(?) but instant grits (and I verified this at the register) just aren't the same as real grits! I've had breakfast here twice. The portions are huge. You won't leave hungry. The customer service has been excellent both times. Next time I'll have to try one of the burgers. I've never eaten here before so I decided to give it a shot and they serve breakfast and lunch all day long so I had gotten the bacon cheeseburger here (medium well) and it is one of the BEST burgers I've ever eaten in my life and everything from the atmosphere and my amazing server Jessica was so welcoming and sweet. We were driving through for a beach trip and decided to stop in. This is very much so a small town diner, and it's great! Not the best place if you're in a rush, definitely more of a slow pace vibe. Decided to try this place out after church today. Arrived about 12:15pm and found a seat. Placed our order approx 12:25pm. My son ordered a hamburger and fries, husband ordered an omelet, my daughter and I ordered the breakfast meal that included 2 over-medium eggs w/ 2 pancakes & hash browns. We all sat patiently and talked, but at 1:15pm after no food and no explanation realized it should not take 45 minutes to cook a few eggs & pancakes. Went and asked and saw our food ready and sitting for who knows how long. It started to slowly get brought to our table (only our daughter's first) and then we sat for several more minutes with no silverware. I had to go ask for that, by this point I was pretty frustrated and asked how they expected to stay in business running like this. The owner chased me down and hollered at me and my family stating she didn't need our business and that it took so long because our order used up both her griddles and that they are understaffed. What?! Unbelievable!! The large table of customers beside us was in disbelief watching this owner hollering and yelling at us the way she was. They said they have never witnessed such a thing and also will never be back. Once the food was sat on our table pancakes were burnt and rubbery, and my sons hamburger patty was black and charred. Absolutely disgusting. If I wait 45 minutes for food it better be amazing, however this was unfit to eat. This place won't last due to the poor customer service, pitiful food, and owners rude behavior and lack of knowledge in running a restaurant. You may want to close down a week or two and provide your staff with some proper training and cooking lessons if you plan on staying open past 2021. read more

Service was not good. Only one waitress for the entire restaurant and since it was a Saturday evening at 6:00 it should've been at least 3 or 4 service staff. We never were offered drink refills except when it was time for the check. Had to ask several times for ranch and appetizer plates (which we never received and had to eat on napkins.) Food was just okay. One order didn't come out correctly, but they never checked on us after bringing out food so we couldn't send it back. We had high hopes, but we won't be back. read more

Waitress was Excellent but when I order food, I expect to be told that the item isn't available at the time I order it, not when my wife gets her food. Then every option I ask to replace what they did not have wasn't on the menu because they failed to update the menu. Very disappointed when person bringing my food tells me they will have what I did not receive tomorrow as if that would fix the problem today. When food arrived the hash browns were soggy and flavorless. They tasted old and not fresh. The things that could have been different were: 1. At the time I ordered a ribeye, the waitress could have been informed that the kitchen did not have any instead of waiting until our food was dying in the window. 2. The waitress, although good, could have approached me better than "You're going to hate me" when telling me that the kitchen had most of our food done before being told that they did not have the steak I ordered. 3. The lady who brought my food out definitely should not have told me that they would have a steak tomorrow when they could not get my order correct today. read more

What a shame. First time here, table was dirty and that was the good part. Waitress greeted us with a smile and took our order. How hard is it to get onion ring appetizer and onion rings for a side. Actually, I think that was the kitchen staff error. Basket of onion rings come out, no offer for ranch or plates. Food comes out, minus the 2 sides for my husband's chicken fried steak, fries and onion rings. I ordered the grilled pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans. Must have been the littlest pig in the pen. Potatoes were cold and I NEVER salt my food, but the green beans where that bland right out of the can. Then we realized they where closing in 45 minutes because the door was locked and all the help started sitting at tables and talking like we where back in high school in the school cafeteria. As we start to finish our meal, someone yells to the cook, "those onion rings should be ready!" Needless to say we won't be back.
