I used to tan a lot in my teenage years, so all of the accumulated sun damage takes effect on my skin. The dermatologist will help screen me for skin cancer, but for the rest of my damaged skin, I rely on the IPL. It's a laser that targets sun damage, temporarily darkening it, and over the next week the sun spots and freckles will fall out. I give the IPL credit for my ability to finally feel confident without caking on 1-3 layers of foundation, and I give esthetician Laurie credit for delivering these results. I came to Bella Body because I followed Laurie. Bella Body is a beautiful office, run by friendly staff that offered me beverages while I waited (and even was able to move up my appointment because I'd arrived early). This was my first time getting an IPL on my chest, but I'm excited knowing that my results should turn out as great as they did for my face. The prices are a little bit high, I'll admit. But I am very big about results. I'd rather pay a little more when I know I'm going to get the results I want, as opposed to paying less and seeing little results. I can't speak for their other services, but for the IPL I plan to return at least yearly, as long as Laurie is here. I had one of the worst experiences today at Bella Body. The receptionist and co-founder were talking at the counter. It wasn't until after 15 minutes of waiting past my appointment time that I asked if the therapist was running late. Apparently, she was running behind. No one thought to inform me. Twenty minutes after my service was supposed to start - I finally was called back. Then, my 30 minute massage ended up being 20 minutes. It was only acknowledged because I said something to the receptionist and I was offered a discount. My mom had an appointment the same evening for the same service. The EXACT same thing happened. The appointment started late and then ended early. It's absolutely absurd that because a therapist is running late or other clients are late that customers suffer. I would NEVER ago back to this spa nor would I recommend it to anyone. read more

I had a filler session with Jordanna and am so pleased with the results and my experience. The spa is gorgeous and kept so clean. I admit I was skeptical seeing a new injector during these COVID restrictions, but was greeted at the door and immediately had a temperature check. The waiting area was socially distanced, and everyone waiting and all staff members were wearing masks. Jordanna made me feel comfortable, knew extensively about the product we chose for my filler, and did an amazing job on my lips. When you walk in to this spa you are instantly taken to a place of calm and serenity. The spa itself is meticulously clean and in this current environment this is critical (they were meticulous before covid so i can only imagine what more they are doing to ramp that up) and the decor is to die for, seriously so well done.. I'm jealous of the men's den! I've gone here for years now and have never had a bad experience. I've always left a very happy customer. I get my eyelash extensions done by Natalie and she is fantastic. I always get complimented on them and they make getting ready so much easier. I can put on some moisturizer and chap stick and still look like i put myself together! As a busy mommy that is invaluable. I can't say enough good things about this place. read more

This company lacks in customer service skills. I inadvertently purchased 2 gift cards to this business due to the MindBody Scheduler automatically inputting their information. When I contacted Bella Body about returning my money, they refused. I do not live in PA, so I have no way of using the gift cards. read more

I went for a facial and got talked into getting fillers under my eyes. They assured me it was so simple, no issues, would immediate take 10 years off, and on. The nurse's shaking hands should have been my first clue, but I believed her that she did this all the time with grand results. Actually, for me, the result was so hideous I couldn't go out in public. They told me to come in so they could fix it, but their fix only made it worse. The nurse who did it swore I was her only unhappy customer, but I met another woman in the waiting room the second time i went in who said she was likewise "pissed." My only comfort was her promise that the filler would dissolve in 6 month. It's nearly 8 months later and I still have this awful "cannula line" of filler on my left eye. And to my horror, now the right eye is swollen for no reason. I looked online and this is apparently something that happens when the fillers are not properly injected. This place is awful and has caused me a great deal of grief. I have an appointment with an ophthalmologist to find a solution to my persistently swollen right eye. Stay away. It was a terrible mistake to go there. read more

I recently took my 13 year old daughter to Bella Body Medical Spa for the MiraDry procedure. What a miracle! My daughter suffers from hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and her dermatologist recommended MiraDry. The ladies at Bella Body could not have been kinder or more gentle with my daughter.
