Caribbean Guava Salad Bowl with Chicken

We were in from out of town and my son read all the great reviews of Bella Cuba and they were spot on!! I give it 5 stars!! Bella Cuba is an authentic Cuban restaurant and they've been around over 20 years... food was so good. I wish they were located closer to home in NJ ! I had the Guava salad bowl and added chicken. OMG this salad was incredible. I will make sure I flag this review of mine because we are coming back next time I'm in Miami!! I could see all the locals here... this restaurant is the real deal. Back to my salad... the top was covered with onions and the guava dressing... drooling just thinking of it. The chicken was also so flavorful and the perfect addition to this meal. My son had the Churrasco Steak and he ate every single morsel on his plate. he loved it. We both celebrated being in town for the College Football Championship and toasted the Indiana Hoosiers and Fernando Mendoza with this great meal and mojitos!! I will definitely be back and you should give this place a try. service was really good and don't forget to make a reservation. They get very busy and it's a nice cozy restaurant.

Our first time trying Cuban food was 10 out of 10 amazing. Every dish we ordered was so flavorful. I recommend the Cubano sandwich and the chorizo stuffed chicken with yellow rice.

All the staff were extremely friendly but our waitress made our entire meal unique! Food was exceptional and came out very quickly.

This place is AMAZING!! The food was to die for, we got the oxtail stew, drunk chicken and rice, and all of it was so delicious, including the fried sweet plantains we chose as a side. Our waitress was so nice and we shared many jokes and laughs with her. We got great recommendations for what to order and the mojitos were great also! Absolutely would recommend if you're looking for top notch Cuban food in the area!!

Bella Cuba was such a win for us in South Beach! From the moment we sat down, the vibe felt warm and welcoming. Our server, Tom, was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and gave spot-on recommendations. You can tell he really cares about the experience. We both ordered the red snapper with traditional Cuban sides (sweet plantains, rice, and beans) and WOW. The snapper was perfectly cooked: flaky, flavorful, and fresh -- and the sides were classic comfort food done right. The plantains were caramelized and sweet, the rice and beans were rich and satisfying... truly one of those meals where you're quiet for the first few bites because it's that good.

Really great Cuban spot with lovely staff & vibes. Oxtail that my friend had was superb; red snapper was OK; pig was good but tasted like chicken

Me oh my, what a spot. We knew coming to Miami would be filled with Cuban delights and this place was so good, we came back for dinner. Starting lunch off with some sliders, a mojito, and a cubano, everything HIT SO HARD. The mojito was perfect with a nice flag hanging out, the sliders were an awesome mashup of beef and chorizo, and that cubano. I've had Cubanos in the west coast and in Vegas, but they don't even come close to this place. Not even in the same country, seriously. The service for lunch AND dinner were friendly. They showed us a great time, gave us solid recommendations, and I would highly recommend coming back. Also, if you don't like beans and rice, I'd try them here and the platanos. They were so good and so was that oxtail stew. Order the stew with some rice! It was in a tiny little restaurant so it may be hard to take a large group, but for date night or a 4 top, this place is perfect.

Really nice authentic Cuban food in a place of many options. Needed a good reliable meal that was budget friendly after a good day of work. The vibe was chill and homie and welcoming. Seating inside and outside. Service took a little while but once you got their attention you got your order in and your meal in a reasonable amount of time. Food was delicious and we didn't let any go to waste.

Cute place right in the heart of Miami. Great Cuban dishes, food comes out hot and delicious. The oxtail was the star of the show. Portion was perfect and we left very satisfied. The service was great. They were attentive and helpful

I loved my meal here! Charming space with very kind and warm service. My spouse and I both had fish dishes and both were fantastic-- delicious sauces. Sides were high quality too. Not too loud, music was lively but it's not a raucous club-y atmosphere. Definitely coming back here!

This place is amazing with a delicious menu & very good vibes. Our server Jonel was super awesome. He recommended us the Ceviche de pescado with plantain chips; the Sword fish was well marinated in the sauce, extremely tasteful, great pairing with the plantain chips. My wife had the Pollo A La Plancha With yellow rice and plantains "She loved it!" I had the Grilled chicken supreme with shrimp & pineapple gratin. "It was deliciously good, superb!" i finished off with a warm & elegant Cuban coffee. I totally recommend this great Cuban restaurant

If you go to Miami, you have got to have Cuban food. Thankfully I did so and with people who I enjoy talking with. The people working here boast about how popular the food is in Miami, and I can see why. I really enjoyed the oxtail stew and the yuca, both boiled and fried. The food is delicious and the vibes are classic. The Cuban sandwich was as I expected, after having first fallen in love with the Cuban sandwich back during my undergraduate days. I loved the paintings of Cuban life. This place is in walking distance of the Miami Beach Convention Center, and thankfully we came here early before everyone else did.

There were no vegetarian options on the menu which was extremely surprising and disappointing. There were items in the kids menu though, so I wanted to order that and was not allowed to. I was even fine with being charged more than the usual kids price but I was refused that option as well. This was extremely infuriating and all I was able to eat were side dishes. The beans and rice and mashed potatoes also tasted stale and were expensive for no reason. I recently tried their iced Cuban coffee with sugar and milk, and it was such a delicious addition. The passion fruit juice is also fantastic. I finally tried the grilled lobster plate, and WOW, it did not disappoint. I was given a menu then an excessive about of time to review it. Place my oder and didn't see my server again until 20 minutes after I was done. A food runner brought the food and I had to flag down another server to get me more water. I asked my server for the desert menu. She was prompt in getting it to me but disappeared (not really, she had plenty of time for all the tables around me and was able to ignore me when I tried to get her attention). By the time she showed up to get my desert order I just asked for the check. I was rather pissed. I got the check and paid it, adding a 30% tip. It wasn't until I got the final print out that I discovered that the restaurant had already added a 20 gratuity. Since I had issues with my server, and the surprise automatic gratuity was not helping matters i asked for the manger. Told him about my experience and said there was NO the server earned and 50% tip. He refunded me the extra I put on as an added gratuity, but that was it. The food was good, but was so very salty I couldn't eat the entire entree (pork, rice, beans). The beans were good. The rice good. The prok goo to a point. Oh, they have also changed their name. With all the restaurants on the strip, try some where else. The service here is a problem and the salt ia enough to clog an artery.

Basically all seating is outside, so if you're looking to escape the heat, probably not the best fit. Nice vibes outside but just something to be aware of! One of the chair legs literally broke underneath one of our party when she was just trying to scoot it back. We got given a new chair from the empty table next to us and moved on with the night. I really don't like how, when you order a sandwich, they ask "do you want fries with that?" So that you assume it it'll be free (as is very normal with sandwiches) when it's actually asking if you want to add an additional $10 side. Food wasn't bad, but not great. I think the empanada was my favorite, I loved the cilantro sauce with it (I just love cilantro!). Another in our party had the lobster and thought it was pretty good. But, the meat on all the sliders felt pretty dry and not that flavorful. I wished they had more sauce with or on them, which I would rather the meat itself was good enough I didn't want to cover it in sauce to make it good. I was so excited for flan, which I love, but I felt the texture was softer and more like pudding in my mouth than the firm custard texture I want. Also overall really expensive but I guess it's an expensive area? There were 6 of us with over $500 total and that felt like a lot.
